The Sitya Loss singer has thanked all his supporters for the votes that enabled him win the BET award.
"Once again I would like to thank all my entire African family both the Anglophone and Francophone countries for voting for me in the BET. You guys did a great job. #Ipickeddy went viral. Thank you for supporting your East African brother. Great job guys. BET management told me they had never before seen such massive support. I salute you all. Blessings."
The singer who is still in the US will be in Uganda on Wednesday, July 08, 2015 and he says, he cannot wait to be home.
Meanwhile, before Bebe Cool left for Germany, he made a long post stating that;
"Many have attacked me for who I am and what I do, but I say this today, those who like and support me do so because of my music. When I came into this music industry, my duty was one, to lift the flag of my country permanently to the rest of the world. Some fans have criticised me for calling Eddy Kenzo an upcoming artist and of which am very sure it's not an abuse rather a category..."
Eddy Kenzo is still celebrating his achievement, he was seen dancing on a hotel bed moments back, congratulatory messages from the Kabaka of Buganda and the American Embassy are some of the very many messages that have so far come in, Rema is equally excited, she can't wait to see her baby daddy come home and so on and so forth..
"Did you guys vote for Dr. Jose Chameleone #Evolutionchameleone and Bebe for Video of the Year, let's go Uganda. I'm coming back on Wednesday can't wait to be home, God Bless You."
Bebe Cool's message seems to be the least of his worries at least at this time. Interestingly, just like any star would do, Kenzo is drumming up support for Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone, the only Ugandan artists nominated the #MTVMAMA2015 awards that will take place in July 18 at KwaZulu Natal.
