Guitarist singer, Irene Ntale, (23) of the Gyobera fame was yesterday live on BBC Focus on Africa programme. The Olindaba singer could not hide her excitement. "Banange I can't believe!! I have just arrived at BBC!!! My Hair & makeup done now !! Interview is in a few mins!! Am excited and nervous!!! Banange hooooo...." During the show, Irene revealed that this was her first time to perform outside Uganda. The show host went on to ask; You are Uganda's rising star, why do you think you are growing so fast? "First of all, the music I do is what Ugandans can relate to. I do love songs, club kind of music. Im just happy for the support and love that they are showing me." "You were amazing, loved your performance and I enjoyed your interview, " one said. It's quite amazing just how far Irene Ntale has gone in very short while on the Uganda music scene. She is behind tracks like 'Love Letter' and 'Addiction' which are collaboration songs with the Love You Every day star, Bebe Cool. Other songs include; Katambala, Smile Uganda. Irene Ntale will be performing live tonight in London at the 2BeLoved Gala - Tara Hotel. Comedian Anne Kansiime will be hosting the show.
