Flavia Tumusiime Verified on Facebook Celebrities, journalists, Government officials plus other popular brands will have a blue badge next to their facebook profile. This makes it very difficult for would-be scammers to fleece people like it has been the case with Juliana and other celebs. TV Host, Channel O VJ, 91.3 Capital FM radio host, Flavia Tumusiime is the second Ugandan after President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to have her facebook profile verified. The blue badge helps to eliminate all the confusion that could come up as a result of people trying to take advantage of a celebrity or brand and in some instances extorting money. A fake Juliana facebook account was created, and, the person was asking for money from the public until the diva came up to clear the space. That is just as far as facebook verifications for individuals are concerned. Flavia is the first Ugandan VJ on Channel O, first Ugandan to co-host the Big Brother Africa Reality show, and now, the first celebrity to have her account verified. Otherwise, in June, Radio and Weasel's Twitter account was also verified. The thing with verification of social network accounts is that not all authentic accounts are verified. Flavia's account of only 32,000 followers has been verified while Bebe Cool's account of 200,000 plus followers and Angella Katatumba of 300,000 plus followers are yet to be verified.
