After the successful Abanoonya show on Bukedde TV, NTV Uganda has also started a dating show dubbed; 'Be My Date'. The first episode had three bachelors, but only two were lucky to hook their significant others for a perfect getaway at Lake Victoria Serena Resort. Most viewers wished the show host, Anita Fabiola, was among the ladies searching as she looked the most beautiful of them all. The show that started at 8pm, on Sunday had 12 ladies, six on each side as the bachelor walked in dancing to background music. The bachelor could then give a short profile about himself. Based on the short profile, the ladies were asked by the host to indicate RED if they did not like the dude or GREEN if they were head over heels for him. The ladies were then asked as to why they chose Red or Green, one said, she liked bald headed guys and since this guy had hair, it was a turn off for her. The bachelor is now given the chance to interview the ladies with a green light with an aim of choosing the very best between them, unfortunately, one guy aged 21, a model had all the girls indicating RED, implying that he was not the one they were looking for. The multilingual author from Rwanda, who loves traveling and spends most of his time in the gym seems to be having a good game so far. The show will be following the new couples and what they are up to in the subsequent episodes. However, it looks like the ladies are just acting and not a reality show.
