Star singer Joseph Mayanja aka Chameleone is off for a show to the Central African Republic (CAR) just hours after releasing his latest Swahili gospel single; 'Tubonge'. Fans across Africa are looking forward to it especially the countries where he has been recently like Zambia, Congo and Malawi among others. The singer is currently nursing a sprained foot but this has not affected his schedule in any way. He is still a force to reckon even while performing in one position if his last performance at the Resort Beach in Buloba is anything to go by. Clad in a Michael Jackson 'BAD' jacket, the Tubonge singer left fans yearning for more. The message was clear, He's Bad! Before taking off to Central African Republic where the Lords Resistance Army (LRA) leader and also his namesake, Joseph Kony, is believed to be hiding, the 'Badilisha' singer was positive that through his music, he could easily get to talk to the war lord and convince him to pursue peaceful means. "As I leave for Central African Republic this morning, I want to thank my fans worldwide for sending me to duties that can make us all proud. It's the most relevant issue now. KONY 2012, and as a Music militant am off to meet My UGANDAN folk.. For we nationalists we know that PEACE is the way forward. I'm proud to be part of this revolutionary transition-KONY 2012," Chameleone wrote. A few days back, the Lango Paramount Chief, Yosam Odur, offered Kony free land for him to come and settle if only he could abandon the war and crimes against humanity.
