The 'Blessings' star and the 'Total Satisfaction' singer were part of the artists that performed at the German based beer festival, Oktoberfest which was launched in Nairobi yesterday. Cindy has for the past several days been calling out to her fans in Kenya to come and get a feel of her music but in the end, she ended up dedicating the show to the West Gate Victims.
"I'm in Nairobi baby. Beautiful city. I'm set to rock the Octoberfest tonight at the Impala Grounds live tonight. Final call to all music fans in Kenya. Don't miss this one," Cindy wrote before the attack.
The situation in Nairobi changed following the attack on WestGate Shopping Mall, Cindy decided to dedicate the show to the survivors and families that were affected: "I wanna dedicate my show tonight to all the survivors and families that have been affected by the gunmen who have invaded Westgate Mall Emmanuel, God is with us."
Peter Miles was also with Uganda's neighbours at this trying moment: "Very sad about the tragedy that befell my Kenyan brothers and sisters Yesterday and today but besides the terror attacks thanks for the love you showed me and I couldn't let those cowards spoil our show massive thanks and luv for all ya that turned up at Impala grounds the show was maaad my prayers with you."
