Star singer Jose Chameleone is in Tanzania for a performance at Dar-es-Salaam's latest beach front destination at Escape Complex. According to a statement from the organisers: "This party is guaranteed to go all night with Epiq Bongo star search artistes hosting and opening the night time entertainment with live performances, leading up to Ugandan musical icon, Chameleone, gracing the Escape Complex main stage on Saturday night. Expect to hear all of your favorite Chameleone hits from yester-year and today." Chameleone will thrill his fans with hits from the Mama Mia days to today's Badilisha alongside DJ's Bulla, Senorita and Pac. The father of five has had issues with Tanzania where he broke a leg in 2008 after falling from a top floor in Arusha, and just last year, he had to camp at the Tanzanian Embassy here in Kampala after his passport was confiscated, but all this is behind him as we see more of Chameleone gigs in TZ. It should be noted that, five days back, Chameleone was performing in Lusaka Zambia, and while there, ex Big Brother star and Zambia's finest, Mampi Mukape of the Swilili fame used the opportunity to take the star to studio for a recording which should be expected any time soon. Next week, Chameleone will be in Dubai. Communicating the Tanzanian trip, he shared a pic of himself with Dr. Besigye whom he must have met on his way to TZ with these words: "Fully Ugandan and proud to be from "Pearl of Africa" where MUSIC is the vibe! As I head off to TANZANIA, I remind every MUSIC lover that Music earned me this! It's not easy but I hang in and they compliment my contribution."  Their daughter turned 7, a few days back.
