Abu Dhabi based Doreen Kabareebe returns fireDoreen Kabareebe has been following comments about her on Facebook quietly. She disappeared off the social radar and went to UAE, It was not so clear what exactly she was doing there, but just recently, it turned out she was working with a Fast Food outlet. Sheebah Karungi is the best artist-ZZINA AwardsThe ZZINA Awards were held yesterday at Theatre Labonita and most big names were missing from the final list. Bebe Cool long opted out of any awards so he was not nominated at all, but even the other artists like Chameleone and David Lutalo were nominated but did not win.

During the Nkwatako concert, Sheebah Karungi thanked Jeff Kiwa, her current manager for all the efforts in making her what she is today. It should be recalled that Sheebah was in the now defunct Obsessions group which had the likes of Jackie Tusiime, Sharon O [who later represented Uganda in the Big Brother Africa] and Cleopatra Koheirwe, a radio personality and actress, among others. Justine Nameere, a former host of Life Stories on NTV came out to say that; "During her days at the Obsessions, Sheebah was a backbencher that not even the video camera's could capture, but today, she is a top musician with hit after hit and had a most successful concert in recent times." These words did not go down well with the group's head, Ronnie Mulindwa who came out to defend his position and also asked Justine to do more research or forever keep mum. "Sheebah was never a back bencher in Obsessions. She went through the ranks like all and actually was one of the lead singers by the time she left. The Farmer hit singer appeared for the Hotel Africana show but on Sunday, he left his fans very disappointed when he failed to make it for the show..Many had wanted to see him perform live but that was not possible as he explains; "My fans and Sheebah fans, It took me the whole day trying to figure how best I can apologize to you all for failing to perform at Freedom City! It was her maiden concert but she grabbed it by the balls, Hotel Africana, was flooded with fans that some of them were turned away and told to attend other shows today or tomorrow using the same tickets. Sheebah did 15 of her best songs. Mesach Semakula, Rema, David Lutalo and Bebe Cool were some of the artists that performed alongside the Nkwatako star. The crowd that was at Hotel Africana yesterday can only be compared to that of David Lutalo and Eddy Kenzo's concerts in the same venue.
Her manager, Jeff Kiwa, is more than excited; "Thank you Sheebah, thank you the fans, we made history." Sheebah will today perform at Satelite Beach in Mukono, then on Sunday, Sheebah will be live at Freedom City on Entebbe-Kampala highway.
Sheebah's mom was among the family members that attended the show, she revealed of how her daughter started singing at a tender age of 15. "I'm proud of what my daughter has become after the very many years of hardwork, " Sheebah's mom noted.

The MTV Africa Music Award nominee was pretty excited about the development, she promised to give the Sheebaholics the very best of her old and new hits. Sheebah is the most popular female singer for the year 2016 and her being nominated in the just concluded MAMA2016 further confirmed that. The Nkwatako singer also presented an award to Yemi Alade at the MTV awards ceremony exposing her to more fans across Africa which is what she needs to win these votes going forward. Sheebah Karungi was last night on Bukedde TV telling her story. "TNS is good, we are enjoying our money and releasing hit after hit. I first worked with TNS through the Magnetic and Nkwetagga videos by Goodlyfe, it was then that we became close with Jeff Kiwa of Team No Sleep. He soon convinced me to do a song and ‘Ice Cream’ was the product which instantly became a hit but one was not enough, we added another song, ‘Twesana’ it became a hit." Twesana was like an anthem on all introduction ceremonies at the time. "After that, Jeff Kiwa started managing me as an artist and I’ve never looked back since then." Asked on when she will hold her concert, Sheebah said that when that time comes, her fans (Sheebaholics) will witness a concert that has never been experienced before. The Wantama singer concluded her interview by letting whoever wanted to be in her life to know this; her ideal man must be God Fearing and loves his mom. Sheebah is a Moslem but does not follow it. The war between these two has now gotten to a whole new level. Sheebah Karungi and Pallaso have in the past few months been at war. The two were once signed to the same music group, Team No Sleep (TNS) but Pallaso quit to join Team Good Music (TGM). With the very many TV stations, artists are now having a feast day. While appearing on NTV the Beat, Pallaso was asked about his Wagwamu song, he said it was in retaliation to Sheebah's Wantama song. However, before leaving the show, Pallaso posed a question; "Let's be honest, If you ever had a baby girl, would you wish her to have Sheebah as her role model?" Then, on another TV show, Sheebah was asked about the rift between them and this is what she had to say; "A man is weak if he attacks a woman, if he has issues with Jeff Kiwa, he had better attack him and not me." Jeff Kiwa heads Team No Sleep that has Sheebah and now another fast rising star, Roden Y of the Kabako fame. After releasing Wantama, Sheebah is adding yet another Pallaso dissing song dubbed KisasiKimu, which is loosely translated as a "one minute man." On learning about this, Pallaso's panick button was activated because at this rate, Sheebah was bound to bring out all the behind the scenes of Go Down Low and Mundongo series, he went down on his knees begging for forgiveness from Sheebah live on WBS TV. Sheebah Karungi is currently Uganda's top female artist but it won't be long before Swangz Avenue's Irene Ntale or Winnie Nwagi take over. Nkwatako is one of Sheebah's latest songs receiving massive airplay..Other songs doing equally well are; Ndi Wanjawulo, Nipe Yote, Am in Love, Wantama and Nsekula, a collab with Feffe Bussi. The Team No Sleep singer has been busy the whole of today working on something she trusts the fans will love. Sheebah showed off her leg tattoo while striking a pose on a "Harley-Davidson" bike captioned as; "Today was so long but worth it, wait for it..." Over the weekend, Sheebah who was clad in reggae wear outfits performed at Club Dome alongside her queen dancer only identified as Angel, a mom of four but still very flexible when it comes to working it. The brown skin lady was joined by other artistes that include; Roden Y and Feffe Bussi among others, several hours later, the fans are still excited. The Sili Zari singer, Sheebah Karungi, has these words inscribed on her back: 'I'm Strong, I'm Worthy, I'm Beautiful, I'm Imperfect and I'm Me all describing who she is. The Otubatisa singer also has a finger tattoo of her short name; 'Shee' on her index finger. We are also told she has another tattoo some where else, but it's gorgeous. First was her Swahili track dubbed Nipe Yote where she is spread like an eagle and now, Team No Sleep's Sheebah Karungi has this new song about Zari whose video shoot is underway, but this might even be worse, in fact, on the posters there is a parental advisory logo implying that it will have explicit content. Swangz Avenue's Irene Ntale and Team No Sleep's Sheebah Karungi have worked on something together and the end result is, Otubatisa, their latest collaboration song which was released yesterday, it's been well received. When the Gyobera star meets the Twesana queen from TNS, fans of both artistes are in for a musical treat. In the song, they sing about their lover who is playing them with lovers in Jinja, Naalya, Buziga and even in Matugga where he hails from. Irene Ntale has two collabos with Bebe Cool, 'Love Letter' and 'Addiction', 'Easy' with Jose Chameleone, 'Bikoola' with Radio and Weasel, Katambala with Ray Signature, she was also working on another collabo with Apass. On the other hand, Sheebah Karungi is having a few collabos out there, two with Pallaso; 'Go Down Low' which is by all standards her best followed by 'Mundongo'. Sheebah also teamed up with Beenie Gunter to do a remix of No Offence, another good one. The It’s No Offence singer , Sheebah Karungi was able to get to the bottom of her problem after they arrested a one Charles Kazibwe aka Ranks who was extorting money from unsuspecting individuals telling them of how he could get the Twesana singer perform at their functions. Like it is the case with other artistes, Sheebah took to her social networks to let her fans know that on May 29, she will be performing in Cairo, Egypt alongside Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso. Unfortunately for her, Ranks, using a fake Team No Sleep receipt had already received money for her to perform on the very day at the Grand Opening of Lumumba Av. based Club Zodiac. At the police station, more people who had been conned in a similar manner by the same suspect came up demanding for their money, he is now battling with charges of obtaining money by false pretence which attracts a maximum sentence of five years coupled with paying back all the money. Team No Sleep's Sheebah Karungi is surely not having any sleep these days after she landed in trouble for having two shows on the same day in different countries. One show is in Kampala, the Grand Opening of Club Zodiac and the other is in Cairo, Egypt. Sheebah was equally shocked to learn of the Kampala event that was doing rounds on social networks.. She wondered how one could go on to advertise an artist and yet they have not booked them or how one could receive money on behalf of an artist they do not work with? This prompted the team at Zodiac to produce a receipt they used to book her services, on the Team No Sleep receipt, they had made a deposit of shs250,000/- and were yet to pay the balance of Shs650,000/- "I just don't get it, its business folks not a play ground," Sheebah added. The No Offence singer concluded by letting whoever cares to know of how they work so hard and therefore, should not be ripped off and disrespected to that extent. "I won't be performing on the show above, my management has no clue about it. I repeat, this has to stop for the better of our community and this industry," she signed off. However, these are the very words the Club Zodiac guys used to get Sheebah arrested, she spent a greater part of Monday in police custody but was later released on police bond. After traversing the country for the Ettoffaali contributions, the Buganda Premier, Charles Peter Mayiga, was so excited to the extent that he gave Sheebah Karungi a run for her money on the 'Go Down Low' dance. The Tunywe singer was clad in a black high slit long dress that saw her go all the way down not forgetting this was the Kabaka's 60th birthday celebration on Monday night. It was a Palm Sunday well spent for Team No Sleep singer, Sheebah Karungi. Sheebah has fully recovered from the AK47 grief. The No Offence singer had to let her feelings out to cope with the loss of fellow singer and close friend, Emmanuel Mayanja. The two were so close and as a way of getting over the loss, Sheebah shared pics of her and the late AK47 all over her social networks, she was quick to ask insensitive fans to unfriend her if at all they were offended by the way she was grieving. The world seemed like it was spinning out of control for the Malidadi singer, but from the pics above, she has got her smile again and could even hit studio very soon for a tune similar to Ice Cream or Twesana. Close friends talked to her that what she was doing was the best thing at least to avoid a severe depression. Countless selfies and provocative tapes from our stars have appeared on social networks with the Malidad singer, Sheebah Karungi, being the latest on that platform. The pics doing rounds on social networks are of Sheebah and two gals in the company of a male friend. It's not clear if they were shooting a video, but in the pics, Sheebah is on the floor with one fairly huge babe in red and another one, who happens to be a top video vixen standing with legs apart and nothing underneath. Last Sunday, her neighbours had a field day as the 'Twesana' singer kept on twerking for her two little fuzzy puppies. "This is what they call a Sunday well spent..taping me twerking on my own song," she wrote on instagram. This went on till it was dark. She was dancing to the 'Jordan' song. Some of the neighbours thought she could easily fall from the balcony now that she was drinking excessively. Have you listened to the 'Ice Cream' eating song? Sheebah Karungi is the artiste behind it! Of late, the ex-obsession's singer has developed an obsession for tattoos with her most recent being five words describing the real Sheebah! Her back has been inscribed with these words; 'Iam Strong', 'Iam Worthy', 'Iam Beautiful','Iam Imperfect' and Iam Me.. Now if you are looking for one with such a CV, then Sheebah could fit in those shoes. She also has a 'Shee' tattoo written on her index finger which is seen when she sticks up her finger. We've seen different tattoos like Barbie having a portrait of Bobi Wine on her back, Chameleone having a neck tat of his wife's name and kids, plus other drawings of the things they like. Sheebah Karungi turned 24 yesterday. The birthday girl will belatedly celebrate her day with other November babies at Pa-Lui Kudos in Ntinda tonight. The 'Ice Cream' singer has promised her 'Sheebaholic' fans lots of entertainment from her queen dancers and guitarists. Sheebah is expected to do some of her songs that include: 'Kunyenyeza', 'Nsazewo', 'Nkwetaaga' among others. At just 24, Sheebah is a head turner and not struggling to remain young like Desire Luzinda who amazed many when she got stuck at 25. Over 200 friends posted birthday messages on her timeline with some promising to deliver ice cream and cakes as presents. Two weeks back, Sheebah was at Club Silk performing at the Unplugged show alongside Khalifa Aganaga and Gravity Omutujju.
