Our Celebrities and their mom's
Artists were busy celebratiing their mothers and interestingly, they all look alike...
Navio - "Leader, Mother, Teacher, Woman, Doctor, Revolutionary, Olympian, Role Model, Friend, Confidant, Kigozi, Blick, Grand Ma, Selfless, Professor, Mum, Scout, Aunty, Reader .....
Maurice Kirya - "Happy Mother's day to all you wonderful mothers of the world! We are nothing without you!" Unfortunately for him, the mom passed on in 2015, she was also Vampino's mom. Vampino is the artist behind the Smart Wire hit song.
The Cherie singer, Lydia Jazmine, is a little version of her mom - "Happy Mothers Day to all mom's in the world..Special wishes to the love of my life!!"
Irene Ntale's message featured a line off Rema's Banyabo song that she dedicates to all the women..."Singa si Mukyala I love you Mommy. From mine to yours, Happy Mothers Day, " The she Go Down singer wrote.
The Tokombako singer, Spice Diana, and her mom can easily pass for identical twins. "She has watched me grow into the lady I am today, help me achieve my dreams, sacrifice her happiness for me, taught me most of the things I know, thank you mama, Happy mothers day to all the mother's in the world."
Sheebah Karungi - "Thank you Mama for not leaving me in a box on someone's doorstep, Happy Mamas Day."

I don't care who Kenzo hangs with-Rema Namakula
In this short clip, Rema Namakula revealed she was not so into Kenzo, afterall.
The Bukedde host asked her;
Host: What do you do to look this cute?
Host: Aren't you worried about your hubby's movements?
Now, this kind of attitude has left many of their fans worried, that Rema doesn't care about who Kenzo hangs with is proof enough that the romantic love spark between these two is no more.
Matters are made worse when she tells the camera man to focus the lens very closely on her while driving this point home...Me Rema Namakula, I don't care....
If Rema was so into Kenzo, she could be concerned that her baby daddy is hanging out with another babe, but coming out on telly and telling whoever cares that she is not bothered a single bit about what her hubby does is in itself worrying.
Meanwhile, this could be so because of Eddy Kenzo's busy schedule. Kenzo is really busy and it's understandable, but there's need to pay attention to this attitude that Rema is proudly displaying.
Just recently, she celebrated her birthday without Kenzo who had a performance out of the country, he sent her message using social media.
The caption of this hot curves revealing pic seems to suggest that all is not well.."Love your self more because it's only you that totally knows and understands your worth."

"Happy birthday mom Aamal, may you live to witness many years. I'm not around, but I know you had a great time with family and friends. GOD BLESS," Eddy Kenzo wrote on his timeline.
Other birthday wishes for Rema have since been trickling in mostly from fans and artists.
Juliana Kanyomozi - "Happy birthday beautiful. God's love shine upon you."
Sheebah Karungi - "Happy Birthday Remah, I Hope you find the kind of happiness you pray for!! Blessings!"
Twenty six things about Rema Namakula...

Juliana's I'm Still Here video remains on top in the last one month...
Looking at the videos released in the last one month, Juliana's 'I'm still Here' has remained at the top.
Rema's Banyabo video follows in that order and doing very well considering that it was released a week after Juliana's reggae hit.
Bebe Cool's 18 N Over was released at the same time with Juliana's I'm Still Here but the fans seem to prefer Juliana's looking at how the views have been behaving in the last three weeks.
Sheebah and Lydia Jazmine's collaboration song, 'Omuntu' was released around the same time with Bebe Cool's 18 N Over, but it's slightly trailing
Chameleone's Sili Mujawo is not doing well. Videos that have been released much later are doing a lot better. Sheebah and Lydia Jazmine had more views than Chameleone just two weeks after it was released.

Cindy rocks shorts for Kabaka's 62 birthday bash
Cindy set tongues wagging when she turned up for the Kabaka's birthday bash in shorts exposing her well toned legs.
The mom-of-one, then went on to do the Cindy-dance that upset Nnabagereka Sylvia Nnaginda to the point of leaving the venue in protest.(Queen not amused by Cindy opening her legs)
Fans are divided over this, but looking at the dress code of other artists who attended the bash, Cindy is left cruising in the same direction but on a wrong lane.
Looking at their outfits, you can't tell what shoes they were putting on and so is Rema who was equally clad in a very long black outfit, that's just how long their outfits were.
In fact, some fans bashed Iryn and Juliana saying that their outfits fell short, but they know which outfit for what occasion.
Cindy, who has just released her latest video; 'I Run this City' tried to give a similar impression when she performed her Selector song for the King but she fell flat.

Rema releases her Banyabo video, it's epic
"Yessssssssssssss BANYABO video is finally here. To all real mothers out there. To all that have the same story just like me. ENJOY. #independent woman # African woman." Rema wrote after releasing the video.
The audio was released on March 8 and a month later, the video that was short mostly in Kabarole district is also out. If you love Rema, you will appreciate her more in the 'Banyabo' video, she gave it her all.
All Rema's songs in 2017 have been well received and before 'Yo Sweet' could fade from the playlists, she comes up with yet another one which will blend with many across the continent now that it has a little bit of Yvone Chaka Chaka in it..
Here's the video:

Rema taking her fashion sense too seriously
Eddy Kenzo's baby mama, Rema Namakula, is now taking her fashion sense seriously following several critics that had made it a habit of trashing whatever outfit she put on.
The 'Yo Sweet' singer who is determined to silence her critics shared a pic clad in a sequin blue dress revealing her smooth legs captioned as; "I deserve the world so I'm gonna give it to my self..."
"It's never too late gal, see how you've transformed!!"
Awesome though that thing on your hair just spoiled everything..Your stylist should have spotted that, anyway, I like your new body shape, thank you.." were some of the comments that followed.
Meanwhile, during the International Women's day, Rema shared very interesting news with her fans when she told of how she was planning to do a collab with a male artist and was asking for suggestions, most of them were suggesting the Jubilation star, Eddy Kenzo.
It's left to be seen what her choice will be though not long back, Kenzo's fans had made a similar request, a collab with Rema, but he told them the wait might be longer.
Her Yo Sweet song has been well received by the fans and on that, the mom of one has added 'Rock with Me' and she says; i'ts a perfect replacement for those missing out on the Fire Tonight vibes. Rema also has something for the mothers dubbed; Banyabo.
On May 5, she will be live in concert at Hotel Africana but before that, she will be performing for her fans in Pretoria South Africa for the Ekisakaate South Africa Gala dinner with the Queen of Buganda, Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda as the Chief Guest.

Lovers Rema and Kenzo out new songs
Rema has just released her 'Yo Sweet' video while Kenzo is on the verge of releasing Jubilation and Terera.
Kenzo's video, Addicted, which he did with Jamaican American reggae singer and writer Alaine Laughton is already doing well...It was the most trending video on MTV Base after being lined up with Chameleone's Sweet Banana, Bebe Cool's Tombawala and Vanessa Mdee's No Mind Dem.
Meanwhile, Eddy Kenzo has been nominated in the BEA Awards in Nigeria, he is competing for the 'Best African Act' and 'Best Video of the Year'.

Eddy Kenzo's baby mama, Rema Namakula, has a crush on singer, song writer and actor, Trey Songz. The Kirungi singer revealed this yesterday on NTV the Beat show. The mom of one was apearing on the show to premiere her latest video, Akaliro.
She went on to thank the team at Coke Studio for bringing her close to top Naija star 2Baba and Trey Songz. Rema told Douglas Lwanga that she had always had a crush on Trey Songz so when she bumped into him in Nairobi, it was a feeling she could not explain.
What of Eddy Kenzo, Douglas asked, Rema was like; "Hmmm Trey Songz is next in line after Tata Amaal, she added.
Rema was in a joyful mood throughout the show but when Douglas reminded her of one of those old videos she did way back when still little, it brought back the memories of her mom who passed on after joining high school.
Rema revealed how veteran singer, Halima Namakula was behind her very first song whose lyrics were way too much for a girl of her age, so Halima had to do the song instead.
The show host asked her why she had to cut off her hair.. "I felt so nice after cutting it off", she responded.
You are always singing about Fire..You first did Fire Tonight and now Akaliro what is it with you fire! she laughed.
In relationships, we have our high and low moments, so when you are in your high moments, try as much as possible to keep it that way, that is the message in the Akaliro song. The video depicts a traditional setting..

Today is Mya Musuza's birthday, she turns 5. Mya is Eddy Kenzo's child from another relationship, Rema had the most adorable birthday wish for her.
"Happy birthday sweetness. My super model. Love you angel Maya Musuuza.May Allah protect and guide you always love..."
Earlier on, Kenzo had shared this message on his wall; "Happy birthday maama wange Maya Musuza Mirembe. Daddy loves you so much...God is the greatest, Alhamudulilla.."

The Sibya Mukisa singer, Rema Namakula, has showed off her valentine's gift for the first time. It's a white and black Merc-CLK.
She is joined by baby daddy, Eddy Kenzo, who attributes all his success to Allah. In the parking lot is the Big Talent Crew black van which leads the way just in case Kenzo has to be picked from the airport after winning a BET award or something similar as a result of his music.
Next is a Prado TX for the Dagala singer himself and a Merc for his baby mama..He captioned the pic as RIDES...
Meanwhile, everything in the pic below is spot on...The Shs500M house in the background, Rema's Ramadan fashion sense left most of her fans yearning for more of it. Rema played around with her colors so well right from the head gear to the high heel and the danglers earrings are a plus, no doubt, she was striking.
Eddy Kenzo was yesterday on NTV the Beat to premiere his Disco Disco video, his concert will be held at Hotel Africana on September 2, 2016

This was the African top that Rema Namakula donned at the USPA Awards event attracting comments like; "That was so basic for an artist, she looked like a fan." As an artist, your dress code should make a statement, she added.
The fans came to Rema's rescue that there's a difference between Rema and Sheebah Karungi. The latter has made a name for herself with dress codes that leave nothing to imaginations while Eddy Kenzo's baby mama covers up.
"Do you want her to be half naked for you to know that she is stylish? get serious. Let people dress in what makes them feel comfortable. Just venture in her test to win her as a client," another added.

Two years back, we reported that Eddy Kenzo had visited Rema Namakula's parents in what was believed to be a pre-introduction ceremony but Rema while appearing on NTV's Mwasuze Mutya program said it was not correct but when the time is right, the Sitya Loss singer will come home.
"He has not come to visit my parents but when the time is right he will do so, I was only performing at their home and that was me and his mom, then tabloids started writing about the pre-introduction ceremony but the truth is, he has not."
Looks like that time has come.
The latest info from the Big Talent camp is that the introduction ceremony will be held on August 14, 2016 followed by the wedding a week later. In the pic below, Rema is seen striking a pose with Kenzo's mom and Kenzo's comment sums it up.
No doubt, Rema has equally given him a beautiful daughter, Aamaal, and it's now time to put a ring on it. Veteran singer, Halima Namakula will play the role of a Ssenga like she did for Zari and Ivan who have since opted on going separate ways.
The wedding news is not so shocking considering the PDA the couple displayed at Fairway Hotel when Rema turned 25. During the bash, Kenzo's mom told him that it was long overdue you need to put a ring on it my son.

"Thank you Team Rema for throwing me a party on my birthday. It was overwhelming and I'm so grateful and humbled knowing that you love me this much. God bless you more and more."
The die-hard fans organised another bash for the Sibya Mukisa singer bringing with them several birthday cakes and presents. One was a guitar cake and another had a pic of the singer's dimple on full display..
The fans then took tans to have selfies with their favorite singer. Earlier on, another party was held at Fairway hotel that saw her boo soak her with cold water. Rema and Kenzo have a child together and during the birthday bash, Kenzo's mom told him to take things to another level.
Monday, April 25 2016
Eddy Kenzo's baby mama, Rema Namakula added yet another year yesterday, she turned 25. It was a red and black birthday bash held at Fairway hotel in Kampala. David Lutaalo performed some of his tracks like 'So Nice' and 'Ujuuwe' that saw the birthday girl hit the floor with Kenzo.
As the couple drove to the venue, little did Rema know what was in store for her may be that explains the lack of red in her dress sense but it was the moment that Rema loved as Kenzo kept on planting hot kis.ses on her dimpled cheeks and forehead.
On arrival, Rema was shocked to find friends and family waiting for them and straight on kicked off with the birthday song.
It was not long before Kenzo got a black bucket and soaked his lover, she could not hold her tears of joy. Kenzo's mom asked him to put a ring on it as Rema has been there for him through thick and thin.

Concerned fans have for the last few days been sending him speedy recovery messages using social networks.
He sent this message from the hospital room:
"We did are general check up today at Case clinic and Doctors decided to keep me here till tomorrow I will let you know in case of anything pray for me guys. I will be fine."
So many shows have been lined up for him to perform in various countries, Kenzo is positive he will be able to thrill his fans like he explains;
"My people in Mali, Ivory coast ( Cote D'Ivoire ) Liberia, France I will come and make you dance this very month starting next week. In God's name."
Wednesday, March 02 2016
Kenzo broke down on learning that Rema has another child, it took a good number of IV bottles to get him up again, otherwise, he had blacked out.
"Papa is feeling much better, thanks for your prayers. Recover quick my love.." Rema noted.
"I will be fine. thank you all for your prayers guys. God is in control I will be going back home tomorrow ALHAMDULILAH.." Fans across Africa have continued to wish the Sitya Loss singer a quick recovery.
Meanwhile, in the above pic Rema is seen holding Kenzo who still has more bottles to be sent down because the intravenous cannula is still there.

Lean On Me singer Rema Namakula is under pressure from Eddy Kenzo's ex Tracy Nabantanzi. They both of have baby girls and looking at the short clips doing rounds on social media, it's only a matter of time before Tracy gets her man back.
Tracy is the mother of Kenzo's first daughter, Mya, and about two weeks back, Rema and Kenzo's first child, Aamaal, turned one.
Rema's clip was the first to appear as she danced and mimed to her baby daddy's song, Mbilo Mbilo. As the song is playing in the background, Rema times that part when Kenzo says; 'Kwata Awo' which means 'Touch There' and that's exactly what Rema does.
Scroll down for video.
In her Kwata Awo series, Rema goes on to wiggle her waist in a manner that left her male fans smitten.
Lately, Kenzo's female fans from different parts of Africa have been sharing clips doing the Soraye song, Rema felt that as Kenzo's number one fan, she had to do a similar recording.
Kenzo's ex, Tracy Nabantazi has also joined the wagon by releasing a short clip of her in a club dancing to Mbiro Mbiro. Mya's mom does it in a manner aimed at giving Rema a run for her money.
Clad in a white outfit clearly showing off those curves and flat tummy, Tracy looked so happy as she danced to her ex-lover's song.

This year, Eddy Kenzo's birthday falls on December 25 and his better half Rema Namakula had the best message.
"Happy Birthday to my best friend, my ride or die,Taata wabaana. Thank you so much for not being perfect coz I'm not perfect either which makes our journey even more interesting. All I want is for you to enjoy this day and others ahead. The family and I love and treasure u to bits.May you live to see my grey hair and our grandchildren. Happy Birthday my love, my king."
It's kind of a shocker that it's the first time his birthday is being celebrated today, but like Rema puts it, they are both not perfect. Wikipedia indicates Kenzo's date of birth as April 9, 1989 but his better-half states otherwise.
Kenzo's story is rather magical as stated on his official website which interestingly does not indicate when he was born.
"At the tender age of 4, Eddy lost his mother who meant everything to him, he was forced into living as a street kid for more than 13 years because he did not know where his father was. As a homeless child he had to survive on the streets on his own because he did not know anyone from both sides of his family and music was his safe haven."
Safe Haven indeed. In the 2011 presidential elections, Kenzo's 'Stamina' hit was the campaign theme song for the ruling party, NRM just like Tubonga Nawe currently, but the BET award viewer's choice winner still rides on his 2014 hit song Sitya Loss with over 15 million views on YouTube.
Meanwhile, Kenzo's second child and Rema's first will turn one on Boxing Day.

A new video by Rema and Chris Evans entitled 'Linda' is now available on YouTube and other channels. Unlike in the Katonotono video where her fashion was wanting, Rema has pulled it off in the Linda video.
The dimpled singer is playing the role of a house wife with soft spoken Chris Evans as the hubby. ''It's so romantic, emotional and lovely," one wrote after watching the video.
"I love this song actually my favorite at the moment though still praying for a collaboration song between you and Eddy Kenzo," another wrote.
Lean on Me, Sitaki, Muchuuzi, Deep in Love are some of Rema's songs that you can't afford to miss.
It's been a great year for Rema and all she says is that God has been on their side..In just this one year, they've had a baby with star singer Kenzo whose Sitya Loss song is the best thing that has sold Uganda this year, they've bought themselves a crib worth over shs 500 million, Kenzo won himself a BET viewers choice award plus several other awards, what more can one ask for!!!

It's around that time when we will be seeing more yellow than anything..Top artistes like Jose Chameleleone, Moze Radio, Bebe Cool, Weasel, Rema and others were at Nambole Stadium yesterday recording a promotional video for the ruling party. Moze Radio has already done the rendition of their Neera song tagged to the 2016 elections.
"Am proud to say that all responsible Ugandan musicians r ready to back the father of the nation YOWERI KAGUTA MUSEVENI in his campaigns and I thank you fellow singers because it's important to appreciate where we r compared to where our country was b4," Bebe Cool noted on his wall.
The Ghetto President, Bobi Wine was nowhere to be seen.. Other artistes that participated in the video shoot include Haruna Mubiru of the Ekitooke kifa Nsalira fame, King Saha, Mun G, Pastor Bugembe.

Eddy Kenzo's better half, Rema Namakula has been in the habit of leaving baby Aamaal behind to go for shows abroad, in July, Rema went to Boston at the time when her baby was just six months and these were her words; ''Just made the toughest decision in my life."
Rema was on the line up of artists to perform at the UNAA CAUSES, an annual festival for Ugandans that was taking place in in Manhattan, New York between 4-6 September, 2015.
Unfortunately for her, Aamaal was not so well this time around, but like she is good at experimenting when duty calls, she got onto the next available flight to go and rub shoulders with New Yorkers but on getting there, the Lean on Me singer was told that Aamaal was admitted at Case Clinic and the situation was critical, it was then that she decided to return.
In her statement, she clears the space that she was not denied entry as alleged by some sources.
"It's funny how Ugandans love to come to conclusions most times but anyway just to clear the air, I Rema Namakula was not detained, arrested or anything of a sort and neither was I denied entry because I have been to USA before.
I flew from Entebbe to Amsterdam and as I reached Detroit I got a message from my sister that my Aamaal's sickness had intensified than I had earlier left her, honestly I think I couldn't think straight no more.
Just like any parent any job couldn't be more important than family so I decided to cancel and return to my daughter immediately. I would like to apologize to UNAA CAUSES plus my New York fans. I promise to make it up to you."
Rema also thanked those that kept on checking on baby Aamaal and those that kept on checking on them at Case Hospital.

Eddy Kenzo's better half, Rema Namakula, was a guest at the NTV Mwasuze Mutya programme this May and these were some of the highlights for the interview:
I joined this industry when I was young but I was able to juggle between singing and music, I dropped my course at Kyambogo University...
Singing is part of me because from the time I was little, I've always been into music. Halima Namakula is my guardian angel, (she is my mom, aunt) and I confide in her in everything, she has been there for me in my entire life. It was Halima Namakula that linked me to Bebe Cool.
I have no regrets leaving the Gagamel Crew. We're still friends with Bebe Cool, he has always been my mentor in music though we are not that close like we used to. I was with Gagamel for more than five years, but the time was just right to quit. God has been on my side because since then, things have not been the same again.
I did prepare for this period, so I recorded lots of songs way before giving birth, so I will be releasing them in bits.... I'm doing just fine when it comes to music.
I do not write my songs but most of the times, I compose the story and song writers like Saxxes and Nince Henry will pen them down.
He has not come to visit my parents but when the time is right he will do so, I was only performing at their home and that was me and his mom, then tabloids started writing about the pre-introduction ceremony but the truth is, he has not..

New mother, Rema Namakula is off for a performance in the US, but one thing on her mind is baby Aamaal who will have to give breast milk a miss for the next few days.
"Just made the toughest decision in my life. BOSTON I'm already here. Gonna give you my all, " Rema noted on her wall."
Tough decision indeed but the good news is, Eddy Kenzo is around to ensure all is well with baby Aamaal. On the other hand, one could understand Rema's fears given Kenzo's CV right now, she needs to be right by her baby daddy to ensure she gives him her all lest other babes assume that position.
The fact that six-month-old Aamaal will have to miss out on breast-milk is enough to worry Rema but her close pals were quick to comfort her saying it's alright now that it's for just a few days.
