Moze Radio and Weasel slapped with court summons as they prepare for their concert

Fresh court summons for Moze Radio and Weasel

East Africa's dynamic duo, Moze Radio and Weasel, are busy releasing new music ahead of their Ten Years of RAW music show that will be held later in the year. Ten years of Radio and Weasel will be held on Nov 3 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.

Leesu and Gutamiiza which they did with the B2C trio are some of their latest songs. However, their former manager, Jeff Kiwa, of the Team No Sleep crew that is terrorizing the music space with vibes from none other than Sheebah Karungi is still on their case.

You all remember the clip that went viral on social media when the two Moze and Weasel accused Kiwa of practicing witchcraft, that case is still on, they were required to appear in court on Jul 31, but the pair was a no show. Court has now issued a new criminal summon that requires them to be in the Makindye court on Aug 10. Jeff Kiwa wants a billion shillings in compensation.

More court cases following them. Moze Radio on the vigil of Ivan Semwanga in Muyenga threw a laptop of a one DJ in the swimming pool when after he failed to play his Lamborghini song. It said that the laptop that was rescued by a Good Samaritan who could swim among the many later disappeared, it had lots of info and music spanning over years, the DJ now wants over 50 million in compensation.

What is strange is that they might not even realize more than 100million or slightly above that from their forthcoming concert, but all that could be depleted on these cases.

Moze Radio sued for dropping DJ's laptop in swimming pool

City DJ wants over 50M from Moze Radio after singer dropped his laptop in a swimming pool

Ads

Singer Moze Radio is in hot soup after throwing a DJ's laptop in a swimming pool. It all happened on the night when the body of fallen socialite Ivan Semwanga returned home.

Moze Radio was one of the artists that showed up in Muyenga that night and like other people, he was given the mic to say something about the late Rich Gang President, Ivan Semwanga. He said good things about Ivan including the money they got from him after they[Radio and Weasel] did the Lamborghini song.

It should be recalled that Ivan Semwanga was the first Ugandan to bring in a Lamborghini, this called for a celebration and the Lamborghini song was composed. At the vigil in Muyenga, Moze Radio wanted to perform the song, but the DJ did not find it right to play the song because Moze Radio looked too drunk, he found it inappropriate to play the song.

According to witnesses, this did not go down well with the Leesu singer, he got the DJ's laptop and threw it in the swimming pool behind him. Bukedde TV's presenter and comedian Afande KeleKele said what Moze did was not in order because they were at a vigil and not a concert.

Moze Radio responds:

"Beginning of the week with false alert from the media and our so called bloggers on how I deep fried a laptop in the swimming pool.

I only saw my name trending in the headlines, then I was so excited and expecting to watch myself throwing a laptop, little did I know that all smart phone users are bloggers and journalists who can't provide news with evidence.

Surprisingly, they managed to record my speech on video, but the forged scene wasn't recorded, why?
Why always me? Why always Radio & Weasel? Maybe we are the only artists in Uganda?"

One fan who saw everything responded to his post;

"Truth be told I myself was there in Muyenga and you Radio Moses Ssekiboggo after Dj refusing to play your music, you threw the laptop in the pool and ran like a cheater and left us all bored with no music, stop taking cheap liquor."

Moze Radio Sued:

The DJ has now rushed to court and is seeking over Shs 50million in damages. The city DJ adds that the laptop had a lot of information ranging from old mp3 and video files that cost them quite an amount plus company info, all that was being stored on a huge disk drive. Legal costs and damages amount to over shs 50million. Moze Radio has 15 days to respond to the intention to sue document from the DJ's lawyers.

Meanwhile, after the laptop pool saga, Moze Radio did not attend the requiem mass that was held at Namirembe cathedral and also never showed up in Kayunga for burial which two events were attended by Weasel.

Inset is Jeff Kiwa who has sued the Dagala singers
Updated:

Radio and Weasel's former Manager, Jeff Kiwa, intends to sue the dynamic duo for defamation of character after the musicians shared a clip online accusing him of witchcraft.

The clip leaked online during the time Jeff Kiwa was held at the Special Investigations Unit in Kireka to help with investigations in the case of a child who was beheaded, the investigations were concluded and Jeff had no case to answer.

This was very good news to the Nkwatako singer, Sheebah Karungi, who was quick to write on her wall 'Asirise Teyejusa' meaning 'It's often better to say nothing.'

Jeff Kiwanuka through his lawyers Muwema & Company have sent a legal document dated June 16 to Moses Sekibogo (Moze Radio) and Douglas Seguya (Weasel Doug) to pull down the video, issue an apology approved by the said lawyers Muwema and Co not later than Monday, 20 June, 2016.

In addition, they should  each pay Shs500m which totals to Shs1billion. The duo are yet to respond.

In the clip, Moze Radio who was seated with Weasel talks of how they warned Jeff Kiwa to quit witchcraft but did not take heed of their advice, ''It's now time to deal with your troubles as we all have our issues to deal with."  He goes on to say; "You sacrificed people, you have human heads and now you want to link these things to us."

Meanwhile, in the clip, Moze Radio did more of the talking while Weasel was just nodding prompting comments from fans that suggested that very action is summarized in their names, one is a Radio and the other is a TV.

Talk that these two split and no longer living together as a couple has dominated Tabloid news for quite a while now, but as they say, pictures speak a thousand words, these two are madly deeply in love.

Done with the k!ssing and touching, it was time to crack some ribs...It's not clear if he was showing off his muscles or tattoos but from the posture, must have been trying to give Byekwaso a run for his money by showing off what he got up there, this left his baby mama very amused.

Weasel breaks down as mom begs fans to forgive them

The Omwana Wa Bandi concert was meant to be a three-show-concert but ended with some fans missing out. It started with Hotel Africana on Friday and next was Mukono where the singers were a no show leaving the revelers frustrated.

There are conflicting accounts as to what caused this. The duo's manager, Chagga, says that Moze Radio was not feeling well while others insist, the problem was to do with their payment, they wanted all their money paid before appearing on stage something that the promoter declined to honor citing low sales from the previous show.

The Friday show saw revelers part with 20k for the 'general hapiness' and 50k for the VIP tickets but the attendance fell short of their expectations. Mathias Walukagga held his show on the same day (Friday) but his was filled to capacity.

In the Sunday show at Nican Resort in Lweza, Weasel and Chameleone's mom (who says that Pallaso's Go Down Low song is her best from all her son's songs) hit the stage to do Nyumbani, another of their songs, this sent fans into a frenzy.

Proscovia Mayanja then went on to thank fans for turning up and also asked them to forgive her sons for their participation in the Tubonga Nawe project. "Let's leave the past behind us and move on, support them as they continue entertaining you even better."

However, as Weasel's mom was talking, the Wiggle singer was shedding tears uncontrollably leaving some to conclude that it could be the low turn up that triggered the tears.

Inset is Weasel and Radio doing their thing

All roads were on Friday leading to Hotel Africana for the Radio and Weasel’s Omwana Wa Bandi album launch.

It was fairly attended considering the fact that, not long back, Forum for Democratic Change party announced that their supporters should boycott artists loyal to the ruling party.

Well, two shows were held on the same day, Omwana Wa Band and Mathias Walukagga's show at Freedom City. It's estimated that the Freedom City show had about 10,000 revelers while the fans at Radio and Weasel's show were far less than the 2015 Juice Xplosion concert.

"Thank you all for believing in us, we made history together, we love you."

"Radio and Weasel were very smart, sound was good, stage was good but the turn up was low. Pallaso and Chameleone came with about 20 guests each," music pundit, Eddie Sendi, noted during the Talk N Talk show on Saturday.

The dynamic duo stepped on stage an hour to the official closing time for the concert which certainly did not go down well with the fans. 'Ability' was the song the loyal fans loved most.

Bebe Cool performed Woman and his very latest; Ki Ekiganye which very much reminds you of the then Bogolako and Kasepiki beats that he had shelved for a while now to do the easy listening jams. Chameleone did his Wale Wale and Mama Mia. Pallaso also performed.

Yesterday, the duo were performing at Collins Hotel in Mukono and tonight, they will be performing live at Nican Hotel in Lweza at just 10K.

Jackie Chandiru reportesly paralysed
"15 things you didn't know about Jackie Chandiru.." was her last post on facebook way back in December 2015, to be exact, on Dec 27.

The Singa Nali Musaja singer was rushed to a medical facility yesterday on reports that both hands were paralyzed, they broke into the house to come to her rescue. However, her manager, Julie Erusa, says that the queen of the nile is okay though the fans insist that she makes a post to clear the space.

"On behalf of Jackie Jackie Chandiru, we would like to thank you all for your concerns and prayers. But Jackie is fine. She is not paralyzed and neither did Balaam Barugahara have to get kanyamas to break into her house. Thank you for your prayers and keep supporting Jackie Chandiru."

Jackie Chandiru, 31, is a former member of the Blu*3 all girl group that first comprised of Cindy Ssanyu, Lillian Mbabazi and Jackie but later, Cindy broke off only to be replaced by Mya as seen in the pic below..

On the other hand, Jackie Chandiru surprised many when she invited close friends to her 'secret' wedding with Dutch husband, Nol Van Vliet but according to one publication, all does not seem well.

Short of that, Jackie has been battling with a heart problem and was contemplating to go for further treatment. It's said that the problem became worse when she hit the rocks with ex-lover and city lawyer, Caleb but on meeting Nol Van later, those tears were wiped.

It looks like her relationship with the Dutch hubby is not working out, but that is a developing story.

Balaam suing Moze Radio for defamation

Sabavulu Balaam through his lawyers has given Moses Sekibogo aka Moze Radio 48 hours to apologise for statements made at their 'Best of Radio and Weasel' concert or the long arm of the law catches up with him.

On May 8 at Hotel Africana, Moze Radio who was so bitter that his manager, Labejja, had been arrested a few hours to the concert turned his frustration on Balaam Barugahare and a minister branding them €diots.

This did not go down well with the orange-trademarked-Tshirt man who has now retaliated with a notice of intension to sue.

"You will recall as well that, while performing at the said album launch you continuously uttered and/or made derisive and defamatory allegations about our client where by you alleged that our client is an idiot and therefore an intellectually disabled person who acts in a self-defeating or significantly counter productive way."

"You as well falsely accused our client of attempting to sabotage your event. Your statements have since received wide airplay in both print and electronic media," the letter read in part.

Moze Radio is yet to respond to the letter from Galisonga and Co, Advocates dated May 21, 2015 which further states that failure for him to apologize, he will be dragged to court at his cost and embarassment the amount of which currently stands at over Shs300M in damages and related costs.

Weasel and Radio doing their thing

East Africa's dynamic duo of Moze Radio and Weasel were yesterday performing at Hotel Africana in what was dubbed as the Best of Radio and Weasel. They performed most of their hits that include Nyambula, Bread and Butter, Neera, Magnetic and the crowds favorite, Juice among others.

Moze Radio was very bitter with promoter Balaam Barugahare who got one of their managers, Lawrence Labeja, arrested. Moze Radio had to pay heavily to get him out, in fact, this very incident was bound to affect the show had that money not been paid.

On stage, Moze Radio, took off sometime and told off Balaam, "You're an ediot, you wanted to sabotage this show."

Akay's body being transferred to Mulago Hospital

Dejavu pub in Kansanga is where Chameleone's young brother AK47 was hours before he breathed his last. The pub is owned by Team No Sleep's manager, Jeff Kiwanuka who happens to be Moze Radio and Weasel's ex-manager.

The bruises that were found on AK47's chest have forced police to widen the search for clues in what could have led to the death of Emmanuel Mayanja, a father to six-month-old twins.

The earlier version was that he collapsed in the pub's washrooms but it looks like there was a fight before this, so the Nalisimanyi singer had gone to the washrooms to clean off the dirt he had sustained in the scuffle only to collapse there.

"We suspected foul play after realizing the body had bruises on the chest and we decided to close the bar as investigations take place," Criminal investigations boss, Nusurah Kemigisha said.

Moze Radio, Douglas Lwanga, DJ Bryan and Weasel

Radio and Weasel were this evening on NTV The Beat explaining why they had to throw Jeff Kiwa out of the Makindye Neverland house. Jeff Kiwa is their former manager.

   MORE OF THIS STORY

Before dwelling more into the story, the duo said that they are now very happy under the new management unlike previously when they were so stressed with the then managers who kept on stealing their money, "No wonder, that’s why we were not winning awards," Weasel said.

The show host, Douglas Lwanga, asked them why they had to throw Jeff Kiwa out of the house. We gave him 12 months to sort himself but instead, he bribed the DPC Katwe Police station, Saiga, who went overboard. Those rats beat me up and also slapped my mom.

I thought these issues were in court, Douglas asked the dynamic duo! "The laws are just protecting criminals," Moze said

What do the court papers say? "As musicians, they don’t take us serious," Weasel chipped in.

It was at this point that Moze Radio brought in another version of their problem. "Those guys are taking our YouTube and I-tunes money. Jeff Kiwa’s girl friend in Norway is taking our I-tunes money."

Who owns that house? "The rightful owners are right now in the house and the wrong ones are outside the house."

Why are you taking the law in your hands? "This is our house, we are only taking the thief out of our house. I have now bought a panga, no more playing with me."

"When I came to Kampala with my mother, I was a very broke boy, she took care of us with a lot of difficulty while at Ndeeba. I also used to clean Chameleone's car but now I wash my car," Moze concluded.

It was at this point that the fans advised them to post the neverland house on OLX other than fighting for it, but Moze Radio said OLX is for unwanted items.

Jeff Kiwa's items after being kicked out of the Makindye house

Goodlyfe's former manager, Jeff Kiwa, has been kicked out of the Makindye based Neverland house once again. It's not clear if he will be back this time because they made sure that his items, mostly clothes,  which were in bags and leather trunks were thrown at a neighbouring garage.

The garage owner wondered why the items were being dumped at his garage, forcing him to look closely only to discover that they belonged to Jeff Kiwanuka. This forced him to call the police right away.

Moze Radio and Jeff Kiwa have been in and out of police cells and in court on matters relating to the Makindye house. At some point, the Goodlyfe members and their new manager, Chagga, were celebrating a win of sorts following a certain ruling from court and when asked if the celebration had anything to do wth Jeff Kiwa losing the house battle, Chagga declined to comment. However, he stood his ground that they had every reason to celebrate.

"We gave him up to a year at least to look for accommodation elsewhere but he has kept on bribing policemen from Katwe police station. We have now done away with him because from the time he was fired, he owns nothing, items like TV's and beds were all bought using our money, " Moze Radio explained.

During the last music awards, Radio and Weasel were among the top winners prompting these words from Weasel;

"Chagga is a good and understanding manager; that’s why we are making better music and more money. We do not regret dropping Kiwa, It was a good move."

Weasel, Radio and Leila Kayondo
Part of their strategy for the year 2015 is to make collaboration songs with female artistes. These past few weeks have registered a lot of activity from their camp. Radio and Weasel have hit studio to work on their forthcoming videos; Woman and Tononya with top female artistes, Juliana Kanyomozi and Desire Luzinda respectively.

The latest info reaching our desk indicates that the dynamic duo have embarked on yet another song project with the Kuzina Nawe singer, Leila Kayondo, in  a song dubbed; 'Leero Tompona' meaning that 'You can't survive me today.

Leila has two collaboration songs with Jose Chameleone, Hooray and Relaxing, which are club bangers, so teaming up with the 2013 BET nominees could only signal good music ahead.

Back to Radio and Weasel, other than the collaboration songs, they also have two singles; Akapapula and Kisajja Gwe yet to be released.

Other videos yet to be released include: Bring Me Back, Forgotten and Streetlights.

Radio and Weasel's tweet on winning the AFRIMA award.

Moze Radio and Weasel performing in Lagos

The maiden edition of All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) was held yesterday at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island in Lagos Nigeria. It was hosted by 2Face Idibia and our very own Moze Radio and Weasel were among the winners taking home the award of Ragga/Reggae/Dancehall Music of the Year.

The Don't Cry singers who performed at the award event yesterday were quick to share the good news with their followers on social networks. Eddy Kenzo took off time from Rema who welcomed a baby girl last Friday to congratulate the dynamic duo on winning the award.

On Boxing Day, Moze Radio wrote that; "It;s been a great year, Thanks for being part of it." Great year indeed because, in spite of the problems they had with their previous manager, they have managed to do what they do best. Their very latest collabo Don't Cry Ft WizKid is doing well on channels across Africa.

On Jan 3, 2015 Moze Radio and Weasel will be performing live in London UK.

Samira Tumi still in shock after attack by goons

Weasel's pregnant girl friend, Samira Tumi, is still in shock after what Weasel is terming as goons came to their Makindye Neverland home and beat up a guard who denied them access to the premises.

Neverland house is owned by Jeff Kiwa, Radio and Weasel but from the time the singing duo fired Kiwa as their manager, there is an ongoing court case to determine how this property matter will be resolved. More of that here: Radio, Weasel Secure Court Order to Evict Jeff.

It's not clear why Jeff had to go to the property well knowing that there is an order that stops him from doing so, but anyway, he together with Pallaso went to Neverland to shoot their latest video from there. The guard, Senyondo, denied them access. This was when Pallaso and Jeff and two others forced their way in and beat him very badly in the process.

As the battering was going on, Samira was busy recording the proceedings with her cell phone. Jeff told her not to record anything, but this alerted one of the fellows who was in action to throw an object at Samira smashing window glasses in the process.

Is throwing a bottle at a pregnant woman self defense, Weasel asks!

Police was able to swing into action and Jeff Kiwanuka of Team No Sleep Entertainment Crew was arrested for assault and battery charges. Yesterday, Pallaso had to hand himself in after police men made 'life very difficult' for his wife as they asked her to produce Pallaso. She is in Uganda for the first time checking on her hubby who has been around for at least seven months. The sight of mean looking cops who wanted to arrest Pallaso made her freak out.

Meanwhile, pundits are keenly observing the pace at which Pallaso was arrested, arraigned in court and had he failed to raise the bail money, he would be in Luzira by now just like the other accomplices. Could this be the reason Pallaso is now trying to bring up the Karamagi issue?

Pallaso and Jeff arrested

The Mayanja family needs to sit down and sort out a few things, otherwise at this rate, something nasty might happen. Chameleone's young brother, Pallaso and Jeff Kiwa both of Team No Sleep were arrested for beating up a one Senyondo who was guarding Moze Radio and Weasel's Neverland home in Makindye.

Right now, Radio and Weasel are on tour in South Africa and are expected back on Tuesday, but hours after they had left, their former manager, Jeff Kiwa and Pallaso went to Makindye where they beat up Senyondo for denying them access to the premises. Why go there when the boys are away!!!!

Weasel Speaks Out

"Attention; I'ts a pity that for the second time running, Jeff Kiwa and his goons have attacked our home while we are away for our South African tour. We are calling upon all our dear friends, fans and family to stop this evil that is becoming a cancer.."

This is coming at the time when Samira Tumi had just said Yes when Weasel proposed to her this Tuesday, Mrs Weasel, as she prefers to be called is nursing injuries at a yet to be known hospital after goons attacked her. It should be recalled that she is very heavy. (Weasel and Samira Show off Baby Bump)

Police yesterday was able to arrest Jeff Kiwa (Ex-Goodlyfe Manager) and today, Pallaso took himself to Katwe Police station to make a statement but he was arrested. They were later arraigned in court on charges of causing grievous bodily harm. They survived going to Luzira prison after paying shs10m cash to secure their bail.

Their accomplices failed to get money and were sent to Luzira until Nov.21. On being released, Pallaso attacked Chameleone calling him a murderer in reference to the Karamaji case just because he had shared a video which showed Senyondo being beaten to pulp.

Pallaso's version:

"Yes I got in a fight today (Nov6) and I am perfectly not denying that .. But that was because I went to Jeffs house to prepare for a shoot today and a random guy beat me with a stick that got nails in it multiple times on the head leaving me with multiple cuts and he coulda done worse if if aint rushed him to the ground in defending my self..."

Meanwhile, Pallaso's US based wife has only been around for five days but she should be thinking of going back. She had to lock herself in the house as police was hunting for the husband, she refused to open and the hunt was not about to stop, so Pallaso had to hand himself to the authorities at least for the wife to have some peace, and that's when he was arrested.

Radio and Weasel secure order to evit Jeff Kiwa from their Neverland House

Out You Go, Radio and Weasel Tell Jeff

Radio and Weasel's former manager, Jeff Kiwa, will for now have to leave the Makindye Neverland house as investigations into who owns the property go on. The order was issued on Tuesday morning by the Makindye Chief Magistrates Court.

This house was owned by the Goodlyfe Crew but when they fired their manager, it was decided that they sell off all the assets and share the proceeds, but Moze Radio rejected this idea claiming that Jeff Kiwa does not deserve anything. He was only an employee who was hired, so, he does not have to go with anything once fired, Moze added.

Speaking to one publication, Moze Radio noted that given their schedules of work, it was okay for them to share accommodation with their manager, but now that he is no longer with them, he had better give us space. We are now international and he can't express himself in English, we do the singing, the negotiations and talking, so he has no work.

A lot has happened from the time they fired Jeff Kiwa. Several arrests were made, property was destroyed, Moze Radio is still nursing deep cuts on his left arm following a fight with Pallaso and Jeff. The worst was when they missed their trip to Durban for the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA). Flight details were sent to Jeff Kiwa, who according to MTV's mailing list,he was responsible for the group.

Radio and Weasel have since changed their facebook page, they are now going by the Radio and Weasel reloaded profile on facebook. Meanwhile, the land title for the Makindye house is in Jeff's names implying that, the different parties still have to do more runs to court before they finally resolve this matter fully.

    Weasel and Pallaso fight

My Own Brothers Are Kicking Me Off-Pallaso

Today is Weasel's birthday, but all is not well as he will have to cut his birthday cake with plasters all over his index finger. The blood brothers were at it yesterday when they engaged in yet another squabble. It was Moze Radio trying to stop Weasel from thumping Pallaso.

"Pallaso....first u beat radio .....last night u wanted to beat me....u pressed a wrong button De baddest button... Watch and learn," Weasel warned.

Pallaso explains how Weasel got hurt . "The picture shows what happened to Weasel's finger after he destroyed almost everything I own in his house then punched my computer and shattered the screen which cut his finger."

Pallaso adds that: "Before the music and the fame we all got along pretty well but now that I pause some type of competition automatically makes me the enemy."

Pallaso concludes: "I am not gonna lie I feel the pressure to the point that my own brothers are trying to kick me off the table before I can even do something for my self but with God and loyal fans on my side I should be fine. Finding all my belongings destroyed and thrown out by weasel reminded me of when weasel once called me in tears claiming Chameleone had destroyed his passports and threw out everything he owned.....but pressing fast forward...Weasel ended up a BET award nominee something that even Chameleone admires."

It's not yet two months since Pallaso came to Uganda for the Radio and Weasel Ntunga album launch, but a lot has happened. They (Weasel and Pallaso) have a collabo together but it's video shoot had to go on without Weasel because of their ongoing problems. For now though, It's no long the Goodlyfe and Pallaso, Pallaso, Pallasooooo!!!!!

Radio, Chameleone and Weasel are in studio

        Three Artists. One Song!

Moze Radio and Weasel who are from Rwanda have embarked on another project with Chameleone who has also been on a Tubonge tour in Europe.

The song will have the creative element of the three artists like it was in the case when the three were still together before breaking away from Chameleone to form The Goodlyfe Crew.

Tough times call for tough measures. With the Goodlyfe Crew having issues at the moment in their camp, Leone Island members that include Chameleone's brother, AK47, quitting the crew, Moze Radio, Weasel and Chameleone are paying heed to the call of fans.

Music lovers kept on telling them that all they want is music and not these fights that dominated front pages the whole of last week. Could this collaboration song be one of the steps to give the fans what they want, may be yes!

Moze Radio and Jeff Kiwa back in the days

            They Don't see-eye-to eye

In 2011 the Goodlyfe Crew bought a plot of land which Jeff tactfully put in his name. They later constructed their swanky 9-bedroomed Neverland mansion on that plot. This is the very home that was raided on Monday by police detectives where marijuana look alike plants disguised as flowers were found. Moze Radio said the 'plants' were for Jeff Kiwa.

The latest information is that Moze Radio has ordered Jeff Kiwa to leave their house now that he is not managing them anymore. He has given him up to end of this year to get where to go because that house belongs to Moze Radio and Weasel. "We are now international and Jeff cannot express himself in English, I have to do the explanations let alone the singing implying that he has no work," Moze added.

It's not clear how this whole saga will end because in less than 72 hours, three fights had been reported. It all started at Club Venom, shifted to Casablanca bar and then to their Makindye based home.

Meanwhile, evicting Jeff from the house whose land title is in his names, he owns 30% shares of the resources that constructed the swanky mansion simply means that this whole thing is far from over. Jeff is now managing AK47, Sheebah Karungi, Pallaso, Bakri and King Saha.

This turn of events was widely predicted when the Goodlyfe Crew reconciled with Chameleone and Bebe Cool, something that made life very difficult for Jeff, because Goodlyfe Crew came into existence after Radio and Weasel falling out with Chameleone.

Jeff Kiwa has managed Chameleone before

           Jeff Kiwa The Man!

The man at the centre of the Goodlyfe Crew going through bad times is none other than Jeff Kiwa their former manager.

Jeff Kiwa was managing Jose Chameleone up to 2008 when he was fired for embezzling funds and now, history is repeating itself, the very man was recently fired over similar accusations by the group he has managed for close to six years.

In 2008, Moze Radio and Weasel had just released their very first song, ‘Nakudata’ which instantly became a hit. This won them an invite to perform at a private function in the UK. Unfortunately, Moze Radio and Weasel did not travel as their passports were held by Chameleone who was not on good terms with the promoter behind the invite.

This marked the start of the bad blood between Chameleone, his young brother Weasel TV and Moze Radio.

Jeff Kiwa learnt of this and decided to use it to his advantage. He quickly organized the Nakudata launch at Steak Out which was successful and there after, he volunteered to manage them, thus, forming the Goodlyfe Entertainment Crew Ltd company. (Moze 30%, Weasel 30%, Jeff 30% and the 10% was left for other purposes.)

Goodlyfe former manager, Jeff Kiwa and Pallaso

I Did Not Fight Radio - Pallaso

Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso formerly Pius Lizard, a name he used while in Leone Island more than ten years back has spoken out on the scuffle that led to the brief arrest of AK47, Jeff Kiwa and later Moze Radio. Using his facebook profile, this is what Pallaso wrote on the Casablanca-Neverland fight.

"Radio is my brother and I would never gain anything from fighting him. Verbal insults were exchanged, the situation got physical, blows were exchanged and I myself got hit with a bottle when the chaos started!!! Next thing I woke up to is Pallaso beat Radio!!!"

''I have nothing to do with this situation, it's an ongoing beef...watch the news, you will not find my picture or video clip anywhere during or after the chaos, but still everybody is building off false accusations trying to tarnish my name."

"I did not fight Radio so please stop," Pallaso concluded in his long message.

Pallaso is behind tracks like 'Amaaso' that he did with Moze Radio and Weasel, but with the latest developments, it's unlikely that taglines like 'Goodlyfe and Pallaso' will continue now that the breakaway group is going by the name 'Team No Sleep'.

Moze Radio being let to police after a fist fight with Pallaso

Moze Radio in fist fight with Pallaso

Round One.

Moze Radio ran into AK47 and Jeff Kiwanuka their former manager at Casablanca bar at about 3am on Monday. While at the bar, a scuffle ensued after a one Sizzaman told AK47 a member of (Team No Sleep that includes Sheebah Karungi, King Saha and Pallaso) that Pallaso ought to respect Moze Radio for he is responsible for his limelight.

Very quickly AK47 picked up his cell to call Pallaso who also arrived at the bar within no time. Onlookers say Moze Radio was struck with a Golola like fist on the mouth that sent him down. Police was called in leading to the arrest of AK47 and Jeff Kiwa. These two were released shortly after Moze Radio explained to the police officers that it was actually Pallaso who had hit him.

Round Two.

At about 10:00am, Police in Katwe was called in that occupants of the Makindye based Neverland home of the Goodlyfe Crew were fighting. On arrival, Moze Radio was being treated for injuries sustained on the arm after a fight with Pallaso and Jeff Kiwanuka. It was a serious fight that left car windows smashed and house windows broken.

At the time, Weasel was spotted with some babe looking on helplessly. One of Moze Radio's brother was slapped as he tried to block officers from arresting Moze Radio. Pallaso had left by the time police arrived at the scene of crime.

This forced police to move around the house only to land on plants that looked like Marijuana. Moze Radio told police that those 'plants' were in Jeff's area and not their's.

Their new manager, Chagga explained that part of the problem is stemming from the members that were fired from the Goodlyfe Crew that include; Jeff Kiwanuka, Allan and Bush.

Jeff Kiwa and AK47 on a police pick-up

First, Radio and Weasel were to make an announcement which was delayed by about 48hrs but the communication was eventually delivered. They are now under new management and better known as Radio and Weasel, implying that they are not part of the Goodlyfe Crew anymore.

Less than a week after that announcement, Moze Radio is nursing serious injuries allegedly imposed on him by the former Goodlyfe Crew Manager, Jeff Kiwa whom they fell out with after failing to agree on a number of issues including property owned by the group

This morning, police was called in at Casablanca bar on Acacia avenue to rescue the situation. It all started with faded singer, Sizzaman of the 'Angela' fame asking Pallaso to show some respect to Moze Radio for having brought him to the limelight. This led to serious arguments with bottles being tossed from all corners of the bar.

In no time Moze Radio was on the floor crying out for help. The bar management was forced to call in police. AK47 and Jeff Kiwa were bundled onto a a waiting police pick-up and driven to Kiira Road Police station for further questioning. AK47 is now in the Goodlyfe Crew after breaking away from Leone Island.

Moze Radio's condition after this morning brawl is being monitored.

Radio and Weasel to announce major changes on Monday

Radio and Weasel NOT in Goodlyfe Anymore

Radio and Weasel are yet to make an important announcement this Monday.

No details have been released yet, but considering the fact that speculation about their split has been mounting, the announcement is certainly about their music.

What is clear though is that they are not in the Goodlyfe Crew anymore which is now under new management of Chagga who replaced Jeff Kiwa. Radio and Weasel will use the opportunity to tell the fans who their new manager is.

But some of the fans are speculating that the announcement is for the split of the 'Ntunga' singers, a move that most fans would not support, but, if Brick n Lace who are sisters can split, how about Moze Radio and Weasel...!

In a related development, Chameleone has changed his manager from Sam Mukasa to Robert Mutima of Mutima Entertainment. Talking of splits, Chameleone's young brother, AK47 has also quit Leone Island Crew and moved to The Goodlyfe Crew while Papa Cidy has again joined Leone Islands a group he had once been fired from.

Moze Radio and Weasel broke off from Chameleone's Leone Island Crew to form The Goodlyfe Crew in 2008. They were nominated in the BET awards and now World Music Awards.

Amaaso-Ntunga Concert at Hotel Africana

The two-in-one Amaaso-Ntunga concert was held yesterday at Hotel Africana. Earlier in the day, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) officials had stopped the concert, but, they were later cleared after organisers provided the officials with a traffic flow plan plus ensuring that the kitchen and toilet facilities among others were in good condition.

The show was well attended. Irene Ntale, Desire Luzinda, Pallaso, Sheebah Karungi, Iryn Namubiru, Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine were among the curtain raisers. Jose Chameleone did not make it as he was performing in TZ. Bebe Cool did Coccidiosis and then Nkola Byafayo which he dedicated to the Goodlyfe boys.

The dynamic duo came on stage in a loader crane kicking off the show with their hit songs like 'Nakudata' Nyumbani, 'Bread and Butter', Nyambura. Sheebah and Pallaso did their 'Mundongo' song. The duo returned with their 'Magnetic', 'Obudde' before winding up the show with 'Ntunga' and 'Amaaso' in that order.

"A big thank you to all our wonderful fans who made it to Hotel Africana last night amidst all the bad mind that was published all over the media. We really appreciate your support because you brought a meaning to our small humble lives, respect and blessings. Today we are heading to Mukono to do what we do best, see you soon," Moze Radio noted on his wall.

Weasel all smiles on seeing his brother, Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso

US based RnB and Reggae artist, Pius Mayanja, aka Pallaso is in town ahead of the Amaaso-Ntunga launch. Moze Radio and Weasel will be holding their album launch on 2.May.2014 at Hotel Africana, People's space arena. The dynamic duo took home five Zzina awards accolades, three of which were stemming from their collaboration song, 'Amaaso' which they did with Pallaso.

Pallaso is a former member of Jose Chameleone's Leone Island Music Empire and he used to go by the stage name Pius Lizard. At the time, Chameleone (who turned 30 today!) only signed those with reptile names.

His biggest following is in the states of Maine, Colorado, Chicago and New Hampshire among others. However, courtesy of his Amaaso hit, his support back home has increased steadily. Pius has two more collabos dominating airwaves. 'Mundongo' that he did with Sheebah Karungi and 'Omungongo' with his brother Weasel are making rounds on several radio stations.

Their parents were more than excited to receive their son who for long had been at loggerheads with his brothers back home, but all that is behind them and all they are doing now is music.

The Goodlyfe Crew speak out on split rumors and album launch

First off, we are not splitting! Moze Radio and Weasel have spoken out. Appearing on NTV the Beat, Moze Radio came early at Serena based NTV while Weasel who was clad in a track suit joined him later.

They were asked if at all they were separating or separated based on recent articles, the two just laughed it off before going on to explain how they are a big brand that keeps newspapers busy, they write about us instead of concentrating on pertinent issues in the country, Moze said.

Weasel added: "I have two cars and Moze has three cars, so we do not necessarily move together and that is what these 'cows' keep on writing that we have separated, they lack what to do."

Then, hell broke loose when the show host, Douglas Lwanga asked Weasel about Lillian's pregnancy. Instead of controlling anger, anger controlled Moze Radio as he roared and not allowing Weasel to say a thing.

"Hey Hey Hey! you're talking about my family, Don't say nothing about my family. I don't talk about your mum, aunties or dad, I don't know them, so please forget about my family..."

This was after pregnant Lillian was headlining two tabloids that claimed Moze Radio and Weasel were responsible for her pregnancy, but in one, Weasel said he had used protection, something that upset him.. "Lwaki muba mutwasamirako, family zaffe teziyimba."

The cameras shifted but Moze was still driving his point home. They will be launching their 'Ntungaa Tunga' album on 2.May.2014 at Hotel Africana.

     Weasel posing with a gun

Goodlyfe Crew member, Weasel, has shared a pic posing with a gun followed by this comment; "All ya men shall fall down if they cross ma lane..." We wonder if he's been faced with any threats lately but cross his lane, might not be a wise move.

A week from now, Moze Radio will be launching his Soldiers Bar in Wandegeya and a source from the Goodlyfe Crew says: "It's the Soldiers Bar not soldiers with guns but soldiers of fun, money and lovers of good music."

The Soldiers Bar in Wandegeya launches on Jan 25, 2014

The gun lovers list is growing. Last September, as Barbie was celebrating her birthday, she teamed up with her hubby, Bobi Wine and the two went for gun shooting lessons.

Bebe Cool chatting with Moze Radio as Zuena looks on

During the Battle of Champions press briefing at Alfredoz bar last year, Bebe Cool was asked which Goodlyfe song he loved most and he said it was 'Zuena'.

The year 2014 has seen the Goodlyfe Crew of Moze Radio and Weasel make peace with Chameleone and Bebe Cool. Now this simply means more music coming out of these top artistes and not just any music, but we could see a collaboration between Bebe Cool and the Goodlyfe, The Goodlyfe and Chameleone something that was next to impossible.

Bebe Cool loves the way his wife Zuena dances to the 'Zuena' song when it's playing in club, so this could be one of the awesome collaborations coming out of this union.

However, there is still more that needs to be done for Bebe Cool to come to terms with Chameleone and Bobi Wine. During the Battle, Chameleone's remarks were evident that he still had issues with Bebe Cool.

Then, during the celebrations to usher in the new year at Sheraton hotel, Bobi Wine was like; "Bad Man Tawagira Bisiyaga..." clearly pointing at Bebe Cool's recent remarks on the gay-bill that is before the President.

Moze Radio, Weasel and Chameleone at Sheraton during the new year celebrations
The year 2014 is likely to be a peaceful year. Chameleone, Radio and Weasel were last night performing on the same stage at Sheraton hotel during the celebrations ushering in the new year.

Earlier on, Radio and Weasel said: "2013 has been a wonderful year for us, musically, socially and financially. We've hit marks, we've accomplished goals, we've grown stronger and bigger and best of all, we are alive." The Goodlyfe Crew have also made peace with Bebe Cool, and to confirm this, they performed together on Boxing Day.

On Thursday, there were reports that Weasel had beaten up fast rising star, Khalifa Aganaga, but the boys were quick to clear this; @Some people are posting on social networks that Weasel had a fight with Khalifa, it's not true and it will never happen, keep on dreaming though.

So far so good, and we only hope it remains this way as this is only the first day of the year.

The Goodlyfe Crew are drumming up support for Bebe Cool's Tondeka Ekiwatule show
Mandela is a celebrated symbol of peace and democracy the world over. He will be laid to rest today. However, the last 10 days which also coincide with his mourning period in South Africa have had an impact on some people here in the political and music circles. The Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, is pursuing peaceful talks with Government  following his impeachment. This means less pink tear–gas or none at all.

In the same period, we’ve seen Chameleone reconciling with the Goodlyfe duo of Moze Radio and Weasel who have been at war since 2008 when they left his crew, Leone Island. Five days later, Bebe Cool also made peace with Radio and Weasel. This happened in a span of hours after battling with them musically. It should be recalled that these are the guys he once beat up for composing the ‘Zuena’ song. Zuena is Bebe Cool's dear wife and the mom to his three kids and will do anything to protect her, Connie Nankya, will soon tell her story.

During the Battle of the Champions (Bebe Cool's) press conference at Alfredoz Bar in Bukoto, he was asked which song he liked most from the Goodlyfe Crew, he said; 'Zuena' attracting wild cheers. He added that he enjoys the way she wiggles to the song as it’s being played in club.

Isn’t that amazing!  Meanwhile, every December 26, Bebe Cool performs at Kiwatule Recreational Centre and what is more amazing, this time around, it is Radio and Weasel drumming up support for the show in the radio advert.

“Tondekka Ekiwatule Embuzzi yangeeee People are you ready! Kiwatule So…Magnetic..Yoyoyo Bampita Weasel Manizle from the Goodlyfe Tugenda Okubera Ekiwatuule alongside Gagamel Tubakube Omuzik,” is the ad doing rounds on several stations. Interestingly, Bebe Cool does not feature anywhere in the ad and yet he is the main act.

This will be one show not to miss as hits like ‘Amaaso’, ‘Magnetic’, ‘Bogolako’, ‘Kasepiki’ and 'Zuena’ will be played live on Boxing day. On that day, the former rivals will even sample some of the tracks they’ve recorded together.

However, some fans are still skeptical about the whole move. Last Sunday, The Goodlyfe Crew were to perform in Entebbe, the last leg for the Battle of Champions but they were a no-show,  so, many will only believe this hype when it happens.

The Battle of the Champions promoter with Bebe Cool and the Goodlyfe Crew
Entebbe road was traffic jammed yesterday all in the name of the Busy Signal show and the affordable version of the Battle of Champions that were both being held at Spennah Beach and Resort Beach respectively.

Fans who spent several hours in the jam had to again wait for longer hours just for the stars to show up but as it turned out, it was a no-show for the 2013 BET nominees. The show had to go on anyway but not as planned, so it was Bebe Cool’s live performance VS. Goodlyfe music on CD.

Bebe Cool is no joke because after giving D’Banj a run for his money, the Goodlyfe Crew had it rough on the Friday show. The dynamic duo had more hits compared to Bebe Cool but not even that coupled with Moze Radio's voice could save the situation, the duo ended up quitting the stage way before the 'Battle' could end.

It's not clear if it was their voices that had given way or it was the songs that were few compared to Bebe Cool's but they had to leave the stage for Big Size somehow. Moze Radio and Weasel, using their facebook profile have issued an apology to their fans explaining why they did not turn up.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we didn't perform at the Battle of champions at Resort beach tonight because the promoter failed to honor his part of the contract! We had agreements that both parties were supposed to follow!! The promoter failed to pay up the balance of the agreed fee and we therefore couldn't't perform for free!! We have decided to take this up with the police because we feel our fans have been cheated; a case of breach of contract/fraud has been opened! The law will take it’s course! We hope Bebe Cool was paid!! We apologize to our fans that have been inconvenienced by this occurrence.

Well, most of their loyal fans have sided with them though some insist, the Goodlyfe Crew were to perform just like Bebe Cool did because they equalkly do not have the proof taht Bebe Cool had been paid the full amount. Interestingly, they were demanding for a balance, so it could have been fair for them to perform and then pursue the course of direction they are taking now.

Bebe Cool (red), Moze Radio and Weasel at the press conference ahead of the Battle of the Champions
At about a few minutes to 1pm, Bebe Cool clad in a red Gagamel T-shirt was already at Kyadondo Rugby Club for the press briefing. Twenty minutes later, Moze Radio and Weasel arrived and the meeting kicked off shortly after.

A coin was tossed and it turned out that the side the Goodlyfe Crew chose was on top, so they will be the first to perform 5 songs and Bebe Cool will follow and in total, both camps will perform 75 songs each. Amazingly, the artistes were all in a jovial mood and both spoke well of each other.

During the briefing, Bebe Cool thanked the promoter behind the battle for having put in so much in local artistes. He was equally very bitter with Suudiman for bringing in Busy Signal who will be performing on the same day. He did not forget the Park Yard vendors who lost their property this morning, he promised to do something.

Other than telling all who were around that they were ready for the show, Weasel looked composed but Moze Radio was roaring like a lion. One asked him to speak up, Moze Radio retaliated in his voice: "Tondekanyaaa Gweee Nja kukuba Ragga"

He was then asked if this was a battle about Zuena? Moze Radio replied that even Bebe Cool should be wondering if you are okay! Then the usual questions about Mandela's birthday performance and the BET nominations followed but the guys maintained, it was all about the BATTLE.

KFM, Pepsi, Movit, Carlsberg are among the sponsors. Meanwhile, there is a car to be won. To participate, you just have to send a text with either Goodlyfe or Bebe Cool to 8778. Silk Events is on sight busy working on the double stage.

Fille Clear performing at a recent function

Singer Fille Clear was slightly injured on Wednesday when the Honda RVR she was driving was hit by another car, but the 'Where Have You Been At' star posted on Facebook that she was fine and did not get any serious injuries.

"Thank you family and friends for being concerned about the accident I was involved in earlier today (27 Nov), I want to let you know that I'm feeling much better and I didn't't get any serious injuries, it's only my ankle that sprained."

Tonight is the FILLE Listeners Party at Club Venom starting at 8pm where she will be performing for three hours. Most of her fans were worried that the party would not go on as planned following the accident but, the fast rising star said: "We're still on, come let's have fun."

If you've watched some of her videos, she has more foot work while doing her thing, so the sprained ankle might not stop her from asking where you've been, a track that got the 2013 BET nominees (Radio and Weasel) impressed that they had to do a rendition of 'Where Have You Been At'.

You need to listen to Moze Radio asking Fille where she's been @ before Weasel chips in with his rap bit though some music lovers are of the view that, the original version is better.

Moze Radio and Weasel are accusing Vision Group's boss for influencing the cancellation of the battle

The Goodlyfe Crew are bitter with the Vision Group's CEO, Robert Kabushenga who they claim is having an influence on whether or not the Battle of Champions will be held on Dec 6, 2013 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. It should also be noted that on the same day, Jamaican star, Glendale Goshia Gordon aka Busy Signal will be performing at Lugogo Cricket Oval which is just a stone's throw away from Kyadondo.

Both camps are still stuck to their guns and promise that the shows will go on as planned. However, the Goodlyfe Crew through their latest wall post claim that it's Robert Kabushenga who is influencing the cancellation of the Battle in favour of The Busy Signal show.

"So Robert Kabushenga is fighting tooth and nail to influence the Uganda Police to cancel the long awaited 'Battle of Champions' between Radio and Weasel VS. Bebe Cool in favour of a competitive concert on the same day because of his grudges with both the artists."

This is not the first time the Goodlyfe Crew are falling out with Vision Group boss. They composed a song; 'Ba Customer' directly attacking the Vision boss. Their music was later banned from playing on any of the Vision stations that include TVs and Radio stations.

In their post they add: "If Kabushenga is in charge of the youth in Uganda and talent is one of the major exports Uganda has at the moment, which, apparently Kabushenga is fighting in favour of foreign material, you wonder where this country is heading, but we shall fight to the last man if it means so."

The dynamic duo of Moze Radio and Weasel are part of the artistes performing tonight at Bobi Wine's Akalimu/Clean n Out Charity Concert at the Cricket Oval featuring Mr. G from Jamaica.

Bebe Cool VS. Goodlyfe
It's slightly over a month for the Battle of Champions between arch rivals Bebe Cool and the Goodlyfe Crew to take place but the verbal assaults are already taking centre stage.

According to the Goodlyfe Crew, this is a 'Battle' between the retired undisputed king of PAM awards VS. BET nominees. On Tuesday, as the rest were enjoying the Public holiday, the Goodlyfe Crew convened a press briefing at Cacia Lodge in Buziga. During the meeting, they said that Bebe Cool will for the first time perform for a large crowd and they hope that this time around, he can complete his house.

The Gagamel boss has now shot back. "These little singers call themselves young and yet they are both above 29 with over four kids each. Public opinion says they are good musically, so they get a ticket to battle the Big Man. I would like to congratulate Radio and Wizolo (read Weasel) on this achievement."

Bebe Cool added: "I have given you a chance to taste the best of times. Young kids always see the colours of pepper and they want to taste it, but not until they do, they never know how hot it is." You had better stock plenty of water or better still ask the man from Magele (Bobi Wine) who nearly chocked.

The Goodlyfe Crew camp is looking at this as no Battle at all. Goodlyfe VS. Gagamel is like BET awards VS. PAM awards or Landlords VS. The Tenant.

Meanwhile, Bebe Cool's press briefing of the music battle is tomorrow (Oct 22) at Alfredoz bar in Bukoto starting at 1pm.

The issue of kids born to stars continues to dominate our space. It all started with Jose Chameleone giving birth to his fifth child and before the dust could settle, Bebe Cool's 18-year-old son, Allan Brian Ssali emerges on the scene. This must have been Bebe Cool's best kept secret.

Just yesterday, we told you of how Weasel's girlfriend has no problem with how many kids Weasel has because they had no role to play in being brought to this world. Those words must have been words of encouragement to some babes who are now proud to say who the babyfathers are.

Another cutie only identified as Diana Nasuna is remembering the pain of labour almost two years later and this is what she wrote while sharing the daughter's pic with close friends: "At around this time two years ago, I was starting to get labour pains only to give birth to you many hours later...you're my destiny...love you lots Queenley Nakintije. I'm so proud and glad to have you making two years soon."

Diana is a Goodlyfe diehard fan and amazingly, her daughter has Nakintije on her birth records. For the record, Nakintije is Moze Radio's last name and just in case you're not aware, he is also the father to former Blu3 star, Lilian Mbabazi's boy. The Obudde star is believed to have 6 kids in total.

Meanwhile, the Goodlyfe Crew are coming back to Uganda on Tuesday at 12pm from the US where they've been for the last one month after attending the BET Awards.

Moze Radio, Weasel and Bobi Wine
"Radio and Weasel, Uganda is so proud of you..you did something that any of us would have loved to do for our country and even though the Media gave the glory of your nomination a conspiracy of silence as if they would rather see the glory go elsewhere other than their own home, you did it.

They may not like you, but be sure they feel you...You made history, you have played your part..you certainly deserve a Heroes welcome, you deserve a tax holiday from the government and most of all, you deserve respect......I will slaughter a pig for you when you come back".

That was Bobi Wine's latest post on the Goodlyfe Crew who are still in the US after attending the BET Awards ceremony that was held at Nokia Theatre in L.A last Sunday. However, Bobi's remarks have left many fans disturbed by the way he chose to celebrate the first Ugandans to grace the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.

Moze Radio who is still excited about being the first Ugandans to be nominated had this to say: "fellow dreamers don't stop dreaming...dreams can surely come true...we are just one leap away... let's gooooooooo."

Many fans who had hoped to be part of this celebration have now been turned down by the 'Akalimu' singer's way of doing things. Bobi Wine will now have to celebrate this landmark achievement with a handful of fans.

The 2013 BET Nominees will be performing live at Underbar Super Lounge located at 279 Tremont St, Downtown Boston on Thursday, Jul 04, 2013.

Weasel and Moze at Nokia Theatre, L.A
The Goodlyfe Crew, Moze Radio and Weasel have lost the 2013 'Best African Act' at the BET Awards to Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince who was nominated in the same category last year but lost to Wizkid. The awards will be broadcast on Monday night, channel 420 for those on DSTV.

Much as Drake who was absent from the award ceremony had 12 nominations, he only walked away with three that included; Video of the year, Collaboration and  Coca-Cola Viewer's Choice Award. Our stars, Moze Radio and Weasel were quick to congratulate Ice Prince shortly after and resorted to popping champagne for the rest of the night.

Tweeting from Nokia Theatre, the duo wrote: "Tonyt we take a step to triumph..wherever we go we carry our nation with us..as da world converges to celebrate art, to celebrate talent from across the world, we are happy to have our great nation UGANDA mentioned in the loud screams..we already feel like winners to be here and if we win, we win for you our fans, our families our friends and nation..Uganda at the BET awards 2013...we made it here..."

Moze Radio promised to fight Ice Prince in another battle which is likely to be next year in the same category. "A battle well fought...big up Uganda for the love ...n congratulations Ice Prince..we'll fight another day..bless and thanks for the love."
Moze, 2Face and Weasel
The Goodlyfe Crew did not forget to thank their Ugandan fans.

"Uganda Uganda Uganda Uganda Uganda Uganda Uganda... we came all the way to california for you n we thank you for your endless support for us..we r so humbled to represent u...ooh my eyes can't stop watering coz this means the world to us...ooooohhhh we r soooooooooooo proud to be here..."

Goodlyfe Crew show off their US visas
The 2013 East African BET Awards nominees, Weasel and Radio are all set to travel to L.A for the award ceremony that will be held at Nokia Theatre on June 30, 2013.

The duo were forced to show off their visas that were issued last Friday after word was spreading like wild fire that they had been denied visas due to the rate at which Ugandan artistes were smuggling drugs into foreign countries.

The Goodlyfe Crew are nominees in The Best International Act- Africa. Justin Timberlake and Erykah Badu are some of the stars who will rock the mic on that day.

Moza Radio and Weasel in action down South
As the Goodlyfe Crew did their thing at the Big Brother live show, the whole of Africa was singing along. This was more or less a Ugandan show. Denzel was sent packing seven days into the house after doing what most housemates won't do in ninety days.

This was also a blow to East Africa after Kenyan model Huddah Monroe followed shortly in Denzel's footsteps as Big Brother told of how she only had 30 seconds to leave the Big Brother House. But all was not lost as the only East Africans in the 2013 BET Nominations put up a show like no other.

Pouring their hearts out to Africa, the East Africa dynamic duo sung.."They speculate it, they vibrate it...so let me go Magnetic..." as former Blu3 member Lilian could not help but tweet to let them know of how proud she was.

Fans are now debating on whether to go in big numbers to welcome Denzel or not while others are suggesting that the welcome party for Denzel can as well be a party for all those who auditioned.

Moze Radio and Lilian Mbabazi

The Goodlyfe Crew will be performing live tonight at the eviction show for Big Brother Africa in South Africa. Moze Radio and former Blu3 member Lilian Mbabazi have a child together.

The question on Biggie's wall was: "Radio and Weasel will be on the Big Brother Africa stage tonight! Do you have any questions that you'd like us to ask them?"

One question from Mshana was: "We know they have been nominated for the BET Award 2013 - Best International Act: Africa which is taking place June 30 at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater. What is the secret behind this big nomination? How are they prepared to hit the Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater on that particular date? How are they prepared to win? What are they going to get outta this BET, is it money, fame, ladies, recording deals including collabos, etc?"

Another fan had a question for Moze Radio: "Your baby with Lilian was it for real or for showbizz?" Short of that most questions were not necessarily for the East African Duo as the fans seemed to be touching more on the show and who they thought would be packing their bags tonight.

Meanwhile, yesterday,  'Love Letter' by Lilian was played in the house something that got LK4 singing along but the only word he knew was Love Letter as the lyrics in Luganda were a problem having spent literally all his years in the US.

Before the Goodlyfe left for South Africa, they asked their fans which songs they would play while in South Africa and fans were mostly suggesting 'Obudde' and 'Magnetic'. Keep voting for your boy Denzel by sending his name 'DENZEL'  to 7626.

Uganda artists; Moze Radio, Weasel and Navio
Ugandan artistes; Goodlyfe Crew's Moze Radio and Weasel plus Uganda's hip hop star Navio have been nominated in the 2013 Nigeria Entertainment Awards in the category of East African Artist or Group of the Year. Other nominees in the category include P Unit, K'Naan, Fally Ipupa and Camp Mulla.

The event announcing the 30 categories was held at Euphoria Night Club in Lagos, Nigeria last Thursday. Voting online will kick off on June 28 while the main event will be held in New York City on Sept 01, 2013.

This is indeed a good life for the Goodlyfe Crew. It's slightly after two weeks when Moze and Weasel were nominated in the 2013 BET Awards under the Best International Act - Africa category, being the first Ugandan artists to at least be nominated in the Black Entertainment Television awards that will see them rub shoulders with the likes of R-Kelly at the Nokia Theatre L.A.

Just yesterday, Moze Radio and Weasel left for South Africa where they are expected to give a powerful performance at the first Big Brother The Chase eviction show that has our UG contestant, Denzel up for eviction.

Moze Radio and Weasel in South Africa in 2011
The 2013 Bet Nominees, Moze Radio and Weasel TV will be performing live at the Big Brother Africa first eviction show this Sunday. The Obudde stars will perform a few minutes before we know if Uganda's Denzel who is up for eviction leaves the house or Africa gives him a chance to continue entertaining.

Confirming this development, the Goodlyfe Crew were asking their fans which songs they should be performing during the show; "We are in the Big Brother House for the first eviction show this Sunday. What songs should we play?" Most of the fans seem to be suggesting 'Magnetic' and 'Obudde'.

Ugandan artistes who have performed at the Big Brother Show include Jose Chameleone (2007), Goodlyfe and Keko (2011), Maurice Kirya in 2012 among others. The 'One & Only' star performed last year during the Big Brother StarGame being the first East African artist to perform at the Grand Finale show.

Just last week, Moze Radio, Weasel and his Norway based girl friend, Carol Serwadda were in South Africa where the Goodlyfe Crew had a number of performances. "Good things happen to good people, It's too late for anyone to stop us," The boys tweeted after confirming this development.

This week, Ghana's Selly, Malawi's Natasha, Uganda's Denzel, Ethiopia's Betty and Kenya's Huddah Monroe are up for eviction. To save Denzel, send an SMS with a name Denzel to 7626.

The Goodlyfe Crew at the Obudde launch and inset is Chameleone and wife Daniella.

Jose Chameleone has given a special shout out to his former backup vocalists, Moze Radio and Weasel who have been nominated in this year's BET Awards.

Chameleone took to facebook to give his shout out to the Goodlyfe Crew: "The triumph of a son is the Pride of the father. On that note, I join the rest of the music fraternity to Congratulate Radio & Weasel on their BET nomination..you learnt from the best and you learnt well. I pray you win it for Uganda. Good luck"

The Goodlyfe Crew have been doing their thing for five years now since breaking away from Jose Chameleone's Leone Island Music Empire to form their own group, The Goodlyfe Crew.

It's not clear if Bebe Cool will congratulate the duo, but Bobi Wine is yet to do so. Meanwhile, the boys can't hide their excitement over this achievement, the first of its kind to happen to a Ugandan artiste.

Moze Radio wrote: "Let's go team Uganda. ..let's go team Rwanda...let's go team Kenya...let's go team Tanzania...let's go team Sudan...South Africa...Central Africa...West Africa...North Africa...America...Europe...Asia...Australia...let's go...B E T...is here in a Goodlyfe style...Radio and Weasel nominated for the Best International African act."

Jose Chameleone's young brother, Weasel joined with these words: "All Goodlyfe fans are BET material, we are diamonds...history made."

Moze Radio and Weasel nominated for the BET Awards 2013
When the Goodlyfe Crew declared that their OBUDDE album launch was a 'Victory Party' to celebrate a win over all those that had waged war on East Africa's dynamic duo, may be, this is what they meant.

The latest info on the Goodlyfe Crew is that Moze Radio and Weasel TV have been nominated for the Best International Act-Africa at this year's Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards 2013. The award ceremony will be held at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on June 30, 2013.

Confirming the good news, Weasel said: "I told them we are a class apart...Obudde." Moze Radio simply said: "Here we go" as he shared the list of nominees with his followers.

The duo will be tussling it out with other five big names on the African continent that include: 2Face Idibia and Ice Prince from Nigeria, Toya Delazy and Donald from South Africa and R2Bees from Ghana.

The Goodlyfe Crew of Moze Radio and Weasel TV are the first Ugandans to be nominated for the BET Awards. The Best International Act in the category of Africa previous winners include: 2Face Idibia and D'Banj (2011), Wizkid and Sarkodie (2012) and for 2013, we have our fingers and 'toes' crossed for the Goodlyfe Crew.

Drake is leading this years BET Awards with 12 nominations though some fans are surprised that top names like Kelly Rowland and Brandy are missing.

The Goodlyfe Crew being seen off at the aiport

The Goodlyfe Crew are done with their Europe Easter tour and are heading back home. It has been a Goodlyfe for Weasel as he found love and even got engaged to Carol.

However, Moze Radio thinks otherwise. "Iam coming back home...home is where love is waiting for me...been gone much too long...I miss Uganda c u soon ooohh!" In the pic above, as Weasel is busy hugging a zungu babe who is not Carol by the way, Moze Radio is singing: "They vibrate it, They Speculate it..so let it go Magnetic....!"

The Goodlyfe Denmark show was the most successful show ever by a Ugandan artiste as noted by one of the promoters. Bebe Cool fell out with the Ugandan community in Denmark and promised never to return after they exchanged bitterly with a drunk fan.

The Goodlyfe Crew of Moze Radio and Weasel will later this month proceed to South Africa and on May 10, 2013 they will be launching their latest album, OBUDDE at Hotel Africana. Bobi Wine, Juliana, Iryn Namubiru will be some of the artistes that will perform on that day.

The Goodlyfe Crew to Launch their latest album in May
The Goodlyfe Crew of Moze Radio and Weasel will be launching their OBUDDE album in about three months from now but they are certainly not happy after their music was banned from playing on Vision stations that include Bukedde TV, Urban TV and Star Radio among others.

The duo fell out with New Vision prompting them to hit studio and record 'Ba Customer' which turns out to be a direct attack on the Vision boss, Robert Kabushenga.

In their latest wall post, the Goodlyfe Crew duo say: "At first we thought New Vision had a vision but they were all lies. Radio en Weasel's music will never be played on any of those vision less stations...."

Big name artistes like Chameleone have been banned before but were able to apologize and their music was allowed to play on Vision based radio stations and televisions. The Goodlyfe have always used this as a tool to settle their differences at least going by 'Zuena' and 'Chidula' tracks.

In the 'Zuena' track, they were hitting at Bebe Cool and in 'Chidula', they were attacking Charlie Lubega and his night Club, Ange-Noir.

Meanwhile, on the very day they will be launching their album, one upcoming artiste going by the stage name of BigEye will be launching on the same day.

The boyz felt him and could not just let it go and this was their post: "Okay we happen to be launching our album OBUDDE on the 10th of may meanwhile anatha artist by the name big eye has set a launch too on the exact date after us announcing....what do you ve to say.."

Weasel joins Moze Radio in the violence campaign
The Karamagi ghost continues to haunt Jose Chameleone. Moze Radio has for the last two weeks been on his case and only relaxed after learning that Chameleone's File had been Forwarded to DPP for advise.

Last Sunday was the Dancehall Sting at Lido Beach that was organised by Dancehall Crew King Michael with Bella, Margla, Coco Finger, AK47, Vampino, Yung Mullo and Peter Miles performing.

Chameleone appeared at the venue uninvited and demanded that his young brother AK47(Bullet proof) performs before Coco Finger(One Soldier Man). Coco Finger was trying to do his electrifying dance before Chameleone pushed him off the stage.

Bouncers were quick at quelling the situation. Weasel has now joined Moze Radio and this is what he has to say:

"People ..advice war monger Dr. Jose Chameleone to act his age and low is pagan violent ways, when the media fails to address the truth to public figures and instead hail and praise dem, they will never learn to respect the community that they live in.

Weasel in his wall post concluded that this skeleton is a big threat to peace. I support Moze Radio's campaign against Chameleone's violence. For God and my fight for peace." If this is a trick to make news or they have something that they want the public to know, it's only time to tell.

Chameleone with P-Square in Rwanda and Moze with a P-Square guy in Uganda recently
Chameleone's file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) to advise on whether the Moto-Moto star Jose Chameleone should be prosecuted or not based on the evidence so far gathered and the report from Mulago hospital on what caused the death of Robert Karamagi.

On Thursday, Robert Karamagi's dad was at Kibuli police making a statement on the death of his son. Earlier on, Daniella and Chameleone plus other members of Leone Island Music Empire (LIME) made statements that were helping police with the investigations.

Hopefully this will make Moze Radio settle and also realise that the police is doing its job though it cannot work on his orders. On Saturday, the Chameleone's were in a family meeting discussing this case in particular and also appealing to Moze Radio through Weasel TV to be calm.

In case the situation warrants that Chameleone be prosecuted, then the manslaughter charge would be preferred against him now that Karamagi did not die from the singer's home. It would have been murder had he died from Chameleone's home.

Moze Radio promised not to keep quiet until something is done. By Monday afternoon, Moze Radio was still spitting venom with worse off allegations. Chameleone simply brushed it off with this post: "With all these bricks that have been thrown at me these past few days, I will lay a firm foundation."

Once close but now far apart

The Karamagi saga makes Chameleone feel like 'Moto Moto', 'Badilisha', 'Shida Za Dunia' and now 'Street Kid' his latest, a collabo with Jamaica's Konshens who also refers to him as Africa's finest.

Moze Radio was Jose Chameleone's back up vocalist back then but part ways in the year 2008. Moze together with Chameleone's brother Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel TV formed the Goodlyfe Crew. 'Magnetic' and 'Fantastic' are their latest songs.

A few days back, Moze Radio decided to unearth some info here which he thought would be relevant to police but instead, Chameleone's fans who are the majority anyway told him off with some asking him to give up music and join police instead.

In his latest message to police, he says: "Chameleone is wanted for murder n yet I still c him in public!!! I have voiced my anguish n all I get r insults from his sympathisers. Am deeply disturbed by da Uganda Police for their silence. am not going to stop my campaign against violence."

Chameleone's fans are stuck to one thing, prayer and have supported him all the way as he confirmed in his tweet. "I'm humbled by this moral support. We shall overcome. The devil is a liar."

Matters were even made worse for Moze when he called one of the top officers' cell phone at Kajansi Police and the caller tune was a Chameleone's Valu Valu song. Police responded to him that his file had been forwarded to the DPP nd were waiting for a response.

Moze Radio's partner, Weasel is silent over the matter. He will instead be joining other family members today in a meeting which will be attended by Jose Chameleone to discuss a way forward.

Moze Radio tells Viboyo that I've constructed this how about you?
Minutes after launching his latest track dubbed 'Wrap Up 2012' with a line on the passing on of the Butaleja woman MP Cerinah Nebanda, Moses Nsubuga whose stage name is Viboyo Oweyo signed to the Swangz Avenue studio is already paying the price for having included some people in his track.

Viboyo has indeed wrapped the year 2012 highlighting a number of issues ranging from the fighter jets, the Mercedes Benz that the President used during the celebrations to mark 50 years of Uganda's independence, Mama Fiina's nude photos, the Kazinda Saga and Chris Mubiru among others.

At some point, Viboyo lists a number of artistes that included Bella, Henry Tigan and the Goodlyfe among others and he seems to ask, Baliwa? Implying that where they as they are not felt on the music scene. In the song, he concludes by saying that let's take stock of 2012 as we prepare for 2013.

Moze Radio got wind of this and instead shot back with a pink double storied house saying that: "Viboyo this is what I have done in 2012. What have you done since 1992? I was in primary 2 (P.2) that time.."

One of the responses was: That's not the way to go encourage your friend to make it. Even if you are better know that its through their hustle that you made it. You have done collabos with the homey, how do you wake up and post such..."

The Goodlyfe Crew Weasel TVand Moze Radio in a 'bad deal'
Moze Radio and Weasel TV have for sometime not been on good terms with their manager Jeff Kiwanuka. Moze Radio and Weasel left Leone Island headed by Jose Chameleone way back in 2008 and decided to rock the music industry. Nakudata was their first hit. Moze and Weasel decided to concentrate on music while they assigned Jeff to handle all the deals and the business.

Jeff went ahead to register the Goodlyfe Entertainment as a limited company under his name co-owned by Radio and Weasel with Jeff having 60% shares while Moze Radio and Weasel had 15% each and the 10% was open to investors. The duo were at the time excited with the money that had started trickling in and were not bothered to scroll through the small fonts.

With Jeff being the majority share holder, it means he owns most of the property the duo have acquired since 2008 which include the incomplete Makindye mansion which has an entire floor to Jeff, vehicles and several land titles. Moze and Weasel have all along been planning to opt out of the arrangement but did not want to leave empty handed.

Moze Radio and Weasel were both backup vocalists for Jose Chameleone under the Leone Island before they broke off to start the Goodlyfe Crew. They later proved to be a force to reckon with several hits under their tireless efforts that include 'Nakudata', 'Zuena', 'Nyambura' and 'Dudu' which was playing most of the time in the Big Brother StarGame house.

Meddie Ssentongo and Bad Black's affair failed even with a giant tattoo
The shelf life of celebrity relationships has been so short lived that many don't even celebrate their first anniversary because by then, they are already in a totally different world compared to what they were 12 months back.

It is from this that some will borrow a leaf from stars like Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone who are married to very simple ladies and even the likes of Ivan and Zari had to take eleven years before their introduction last year.

Below we look at stars whose relationships have failed.

Straka and Sizzaman - These two have a child together and even got to the level of a wedding reception that aborted at the eleventh hour when Sizzaman failed to show up. Straka was admitted at Senta Medicare in Namasuba following the incident.

Meddie and Bad Black - Now these ones were unique in every way. No doubt it was money that brought them together but looks like it was a one sided affair. Bad Black kept on crying her heart out out on social networks, abused any gal who came close to Meddie but wapi the guy was adamant.

She even tried putting a tattoo of Meddie's name on her back, went to jail trying to cover up for him in the Shs11bn loot but all this did not work. Realizing that all had failed, she just had to put the guy in and the only time we saw them in a photo together was when they were at the Anti -Corruption court.

Moze Radio and Lillian - These became publicly intimate during the Bududa fund raising show and one thing led to another and before we knew it, Lillian was pregnant with Moze's kid. Lillian moved into the Goodlyfe's Makindye Neverland home. In the home, Goodlyfe's Zungu babe, Kellen was also living there. The two have separated under very unclear circumstances.

Juliana and Kassim Ouma - Juliana was over the moon over Kassim Ouma 'The Dream.' Juliana changed her name to Jalia and converted her religion to accomodate the boxer but wapi, this did not work too.

*OS and Pherrie Kim - The 'love yo' star Omulangira Ssuna and Pherrie Kim have a boy together but after several cheating accusations, they decided to call it quits with the PRO of Guvnor Pherie Kim who seems to have a thing with names starting with O. She is now dating another guy whose name starts with O.

The Goodlyfe Crew of the Dudu song were slated to perform in the UK during the Easter season but after being denied visas by the UK Embassy, Moze Radio and Weasel won't be in the UK. Moze Radio in a message to his UK fans wrote:

"Sorry UK we won't be coming this easter:-( but Sengo should know he is too old to be dishonest... lets link up some other time n party hard...hpy easter..."

In his message, Moze Radio does not leave out promoter Yunus Ssengo who they claim is the one sabotaging their efforts. It is alleged that the duo did not perform for him on their last visit.

UK fans have however not been left out as Jose Chameleone, Eddie Kenzo of the Zivuga fame and Ragga Dee among others will be performing in Leeds today and London on Easter.

         Tonjagala Album Launch
The Goodlyfe Boyz Moze Radio and Weasel TV have eventually got a sponsor for their next album launch slated for May 11, 2012 at the People's space Hotel Africana. The Goodlyfe Crew have a however settled for a less fee compared to their previous launch.

The Talk and Talk Album launch was bought by top music promoter Bobkins Kibirige of Kibo Media at a cost of 70m but it's not clear why this had to go down as opposed to increasing. The Tonjagala Album launch was bought at Shs50m.

Tracks like 'Mukama', a blockbuster gospel song and 'Dudu We' which they did with Shanks Vivi D will feature on the Tonjagala album launch.

The launch will be at Hotel Africana attracting an entrance fee of 50k for VIP and 20k for general happiness. It won't be Mukono this time but at the Crested Crane Hotel in Jinja at a fee of 10k. On Sunday, the Goodlyfe crew will be at KK Beach in Gaba and the fee will 5k.

             Weasel Doug and Moze Radio
As expected Moze Radio who has appeared in the news lately for having beaten a journalist at Kampala road based Hi-Table has come out and spoken about the incident in which certain sections of the media are demanding for an apology from the group or else they don't cover their activities.

In his message, Moze Radio reached out to his fans and music lovers: "am calling upon all goodlyfe fans n music lovers to guard against negative energy from journalist wannabes who after failing to build their profiles have instead vowed to soil others. we r serving a nation n we should support one another. u can never put a good man down... bless u n lets meet at hotel africana 11 may..."

One fan, Abenawe Alicia responded: "let them do the talk, yu will always do the walk.....ninza kuguma ndi gudlyf fan pakalast no matter what!!!" She will stand by the Goodlyfe in the bad and good times.

Moze also spoke to a weekly tabloid and this is what he had to say: "What journalists do is to first write bad things about us and after call us for comments.  Why write stuff and later call us. Now I just let the media say what it wants.

Someone just goes and robs people in the bar and when he is beaten up, the media claims that we beat up the thief..."

This follows the beating up of Dembe FM's Lwasama Ojambo who was later hospitalized at Kadic Hospital in Bukoto. A newly formed group, Society Press Club (SPC) was demanding for an apology from the Goodlyfe and clearance of the hospital bills before they could resume covering the Goodlyfe on their platforms.

A newly formed group, Society Press Club (SPC) is demanding for an apology from the Goodlyfe Crew after they allegedly beat up a Dembe FM presenter, Lwasama Ojambo.

According to information from Miles Rwamiti who is also the SPC Organising Secretary, Lwasama was at Hi-Table seated all by himself before a group led by Moze Radio confronted him for having stolen Moze Radio's phone.

Lwasama denied the allegations. He was asked to leave the bar to which he objected and it was not long before the situation became nasty leading him to lose some teeth at least according to another Dembe presenter Djacob Omutuzze.

A statement from the SPC read in part: "As an indication of our seriousness towards putting a stop to this brutality, we have resolved to put a total ban on coverage of all Goodlyfe activities across all our platforms until they come out and apologize publicly for their heinous act. They should also foot Lwasama's hospital bills."

In all this, Moze Radio has not given his side of the story. It is important that he gives his account and a fair decision to all is taken. Some were of the view that the Goodlyfe were using the opportunity to appear in the news and on the other hand, Others feel that the move by SPC is not fair bearing in mind that the Goodlyfe and Miles Rwamiti are sworn enemies.

Weasel, Moze Radio and Eddie Kenzo
It's one thing to be an upcoming artiste and it's the other coming out of that shell to start sharing a stage with the big boys. This is what Eddie Kenzo of Big Talent has done. He's been releasing his tracks which his fans would gladly term as cool hits.

The star who prefers to be interviewed in vernacular just like Aziz Azion was approached for a collabo by the Goodlyfe boys, but tactfully dodged them claiming that he had a very tight schedule.

The Goodlyfe boys came to learn of it that he had actually snubbed them. They then decided to rally behind upcoming artist Booerman and helped him release Eddie Kenzo's ?Ojja Kunzisa' into ?Safina Ogenda Kunzisa' This left Kenzo faced with plagiarism claims. The artistes have been trading insults and counter accusations.

Insider sources say that now The Goodlyfe Crew have switched plans and intend to export their antics to the UK. Eddie Kenzo is booked to feature on the Easter shows in the UK alongside the Goodlyfe boys. A snoop said that "The Goodlyfe boys are planning to corner Kenzo while in the UK, where the trio will be for the Easter shows."

Its not been easy for them to get to Eddie Kenzo here in Kampala as he is always in the company of his Big Talent Boyz so while in the UK, the Big Talent boys won't be there to defend him.

Straka at war with the Goodlyfe boyz
Celebrated Local TV star Straka Mwezi is not on talking terms with Moze Radio and Weasel TV of the Goodlyfe Crew.

Last Wednesday, Straka dashed to her wall and wrote this: "l am a little disturbed by these lousy boys[the good life crew]my workmate here kasuku has jst been telling me that they have gone as far as singing about me in their song.

all l advise them is to style up coz me saying they steal songs l have facts l have played several songs they have stolen on lateshow. So u boys it's high time u know that it's a job l'm doing and l'm paid for it ..." The WBS late show presenter ranted.

What upset Straka most was the fact that they did a song which was about her family something that did not go down well with her and urged whoever could help her get the message to them that if they did their music professionally, then that would silence her.

It's not the first time the Goodlyfe Crew are clashing with Straka. She has always thought the Goodlyfe Crew were partly behind her break-up with Sizzaman the father of her child.

Responding to this, Weasel posted on his wall; "As Huge as ....Straka." Straka has not yet seen this but her sympathizers were quick at taking Weasel on. He opted on using bad language which words we will not reproduce here.

He was told to be a good boy he once was and this is wat he had to say; "I was once a good boy but failures like Straka make us wanna say it all....they hate shooting stars."

According to Straka, the Goodlyfe Crew's music is way off the charts and they are heading for a music slump.

Juliana and the PAM Awards chairman Isaac Mulindwa at the launch of the Awards in Kampala
Last Saturday all roads led to UMA show grounds which was the venue for the 9th PAM Awards. The function kicked off at about 6:00pm and ended a few minutes past 1:00am on Sunday. Gold tickets were going for Shs 200,000 bronze tickets Shs120,000 and the bona balabe or regular was going for Shs 30,000.

At the end of the event Iryn Namubiru emerged as the PAM Awards Artiste of the year 2011. Bebe Cool was one of the top artistes who graced the event but we now bring you some of the top artistes who snubbed the event.

Jose Chameleone - Nominated in three categories but only got Best Afro Beat/Artiste Group but did not bother attending like he has done for the last so many years. That has not stopped him from releasing non stop hits. The other award he also got was the one that Bebe Cool dedicated to Jose, Bobi Wine and the Goodlyfe boys for having snubbed the function.

Moze Radio and Weasel - They took the award of the Best Afro Beat courtesy of their Talk n Talk song. After minutes of waiting and confirming that they were not around, Straka swung into action by saying "Wabula Agayaaye ago tegawoneka" meaning that not even an award would convince them to attend. They however attended last year and during the final PAM Awards bash they were present.

Peter Miles - The Oja star also self proclaimed king of dance hall did not show up despite being nominated in the category of Best Ragga Artiste.
Desire Luzinda - Curvy Desire Luzinda was not any where close to the PAM Awards venue. It's like the second tie in a row when she is not being nominated in any category

Juliana - It is not clear what happened to the PAM Awards 2008 artiste of the year and the first female artiste to kiss the main accolade. During the bash that launched the PAM Awards at Club Le Beaujolais, Juliana attended the function sending a clear message that she was on the same page with the organizers but wappi, she was nowhere to be seen. She is in the country because a few days back she was performing with Kenny Lattimore at the Qatar Airways Launch.

Bobi Wine - The last time he sent his wife as he claimed that he was performing at a different function, but from the time Barbie graced the event and came back empty handed even after the husband had been nominated in several categories, the two have vowed never to come close to the awards. This is what happened on Nov.5.2011 as Bobi and Barbie were nowhere to be seen. Bobi Wine's ?Matyansi Butyampa's video lost to ex Blu3's Jackie Chandiru's 'Agassi'

PAM Awards Chairman Isaac Mulindwa at the launch in Burundi
The Pearl of Africa Music Awards have started showing signs of a come back starting with the launch in Burundi on Saturday. The Awards which were last held in 2008 did not take place in 2009 due to a number of factors that included taking the organizers to court and threatening to close the company permanently.

They later agreed to some terms with some of the shareholders being compensated and now we are yet to have the 2009 version of the awards in 2010. Juliana Kanyomozi was the Artiste of the year. She also took the award for best female artiste while Bebe Cool took Best Male Artiste. The full list of other winners can be viewed from here: PAM Awards 2008 Winners

In the 2008 Awards, The Goodlyfe Boyz were the best New Artiste and had the 2009 versions taken place in 2009 where they had hit after hit, they could have taken most of the slots that were available in their categories.

They still appear to be unsolvable after redoing Chance Nalubega's 'Abatesi'

You must have heard of the plagiarism talk but we are not sure of what is what . All we know is that there are two tracks that almost have similar beats and rhythms but with different lyrics and artists. Goodlyfe Crew, Moze Radio and Weasel TV have for a greater part of the year done their thing and done it so well no doubt.

They have excelled to the extent that a van might be required to transport the awards they will receive in the forth coming PAM Awards. They have done Nakudata, Nyambura, Sitani, Zuena, Bread and Butter, Number Emu, Chidula and more recently Pontential a collabo with Gen Ozzey among others which are by all means good food for your ears.

''No Body'' a track similar in every way to Moze and Weasel's ''Bread and Butter'' has set tongues wagging. No Body was done by Arafat and a Lady called Magla but was is amazing is that Arafat is clearly seen trying to mimick Moze Radio's voice which has been an asset in most of their music.

Arafat and Magla claim to have done it first but they did not have enough money to take it to another level. Then came the Goodlyfe crew guys with the money so they took it on replacing No Body with Bread and Butter.

We have linked both tracks for you to compare and make your judgement.

Nyambura Concert
Hotel Africana was on fire last Friday as Mowzey Radio and Weasel were launching their second album. It is on record that Radio and Weasel were originally back up artistes for Dr.Jose Chameleone and they later seceded to form Good lyf.

They played Jose Chameleone's song BaYuda which sent the crowd into shouting gear rocking that part of Kampala with noise pollution. Ba Yuda is the song Jose released aiming at the duo who had deserted him after all that he had done for them. The boys acknowledge that he was their mentor and in so doing they played the song back trying to show that they do not have a problem with him at all and they are just doing their thing.

Of course Jose Chameleone did not attend but both parents were there now that Weasel is Chameleone's young brother and when the mother stood up to talk she said" Im so happy because my children are doing well but at the same time sad that Jose Chameleone is not here''. The crowd retaliated by asking her to use her powers as a mother to unite the brothers.

Other artistes that performed were Blu3, GNL, Juliana among others.

         Iryn and Juliana
Iryn and Juliana

In the past it was I-Jay way back in the year 2000 and they were the in thing as far as music was concerned then in Uganda. Juliana and Irene used to sing together and tracks like ''Seven days'' and ''Say yes'' among others can be tagged to the duo. Todate some people still wish the two could come back together but that is just not about to happen as they have both pursued solo careers with Irene changing her stage name to Iryn and Juliana maintaining the name but moving way past Iryn. She is the current PAM Awards artist of the year.

General Mega Dee and Menton Kronno
They were a pair back in the days but there is more Mega Dee these days than Kronno. He tried a collaboration with Jinja based Sylivia Kyansunti but all in all nothing has been released from Kronno. Just recently Mega Dee brought in Mr. Vegas for his album launch.

Blu*3, Blu3 and Cindy
They emerged as stars after the coca cola auditions that brought them to stardom. There stage name actually had a star which they later removed to just remain Blu3. Like any girl group, these girls had a fight after it turned out that one of them was going on holiday with a boyfriend at the time they were to stage various shows. They told her to choose between the group and the boyfriend and Cindy chose the latter. Mya replaced Cindy and a track dubbed "Together" has been released by the new Blu3. The girls have not released much in the nutshell but Cindy on the other hand is doing very well as she has released an album with smashing hits like Mbikooye.

Obsessions and HB Toxic
HB Toxic were part of the Obsessions group that comprised of about 5 girls at least based on the Jangu video. Tracks like ''I'll do'', Jangu and Feel me are part of the results when the group was still together. Helen and Brenda noticed with that kind of set up they were not getting the attention they desired, they decided to break off the from the main group and formed HB  Toxic. The girls have been busy and in just the last week they have performed in various places like the Lug Fashion nite at Club Silk, and the launch of the EATV Uganda central at club rouge. HB  Toxic have also done a collabo, "All I Need" with Tanzania's AY.

Moze Radio and Weasle TV
These guys were part of Jose Chameleon acting as back up vocalists. Moze in particular was having some tracks like "Sweet Lady" which was a hit on our music hit list back in the days. They recently teamed to come up with Moze Radio and Weasle Manizle. But the Manizle name must have been dropped to adopt TV to match the Radio on Moze's name. If you have heard Nakudata, Nakutamani, Zuena, Nyambura plus Chikumi Kinana(180) among others that they did with Red Banton and you were wondering who the bad boys are then wonder no more. They have by far been 2008 best artists.

Not long back, when Zari was explaining how she hit the rocks with King Bae, who turned out to be romance scammer, she said that it is not about money when it comes to dating her, so even the not so loaded guys were welcome to give it a try, but looking at her new lover, GK Choppa, he seems to be wearing two faces, in him you see a combination of her late hubby and Diamond Platnumz.
