The mom is currently in Boston Massachusetts and she had the best words for the daughter, but warned the Honorable not to hold any party before she comes back.

"Suubi Nakayi; our ever warm Sunshine. How blessed we are to have you in our lives! As you celebrate your 2nd birthday today, I can't come to terms with the fact that am so far away from you and I won't hear you sing yourself a happy birthday song which you've actually practiced for over a month.

This makes me miss you so much on this special day. Happy birthday Mumunyu; We are grateful to the almighty for the gift of life given to you. Iam personally thankful to God for the many people who have taught you so many words that you know each one of them by name.

Bobi Wine please take her for ice cream for me! No party in my absence!"

This was Bobi Wine's message when Solomon turned 12.

"Happy twelfth birthday Son. You came into my life and changed my title to father. Looking at you today reminds me of how much responsibility I have to raise you into a strong willed man ready to look life in the face with confidence. May you live to make all of us proud."

The topic is; 'Can Bobi Wine Change the politics in Uganda?'...Trust him, he went on to pose the same question to his followers and these were some of the responses;

"He may not change Uganda's politics, but #Bobi will be remembered as a pioneer of the people power politics as compared to the people in power politics of his era."

"I think your already changing it, your political impact is now felt by everyone."

"Yes he can change the politics of Uganda from hatred to tolerance."

Shortly after winning the by-election with a landslide, the dad of four was interviewed by BBC, he told them that his immediate plan was not to concentrate on the top job, but he did not rule it out either. During his victory party in Kasangati, he thanked all the voters and to his wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi, he told her that before he dies, she would have become a First Lady.

Barbie and Bobi Wine are having to deal with problems related to the new office

New roles, new problems for Bobi Wine and wife Barbie

It's coming to a month now from the time Hon. Kyagulanyi won the Kyadondo East parliamentary seat. He was sworn in and just the other day he was attending his first parliamentary session with all cameras following him as expected and he does not disappoint, he gives them what they want. He did not contribute much on day one, but you can be sure whatever he said could have dominated the headlines.

On flipping the other side of the coin, the new office and responsibilities have come with their problems too for Bobi Wine and his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi. On Saturday, Bobi Wine had to grace four functions on the same day. He started with Gayaza Junior school that was celebrating over 100 years of existence where he was from 10:00AM, but was forced to leave at 3:00PM to grace other functions.

However, at Gayaza Junior School, the Buganda Premier, Charles Peter Mayiga was the chief guest and a time came to cut the cake, Hon. Kyagulanyi who is the area MP was invited to come along, but unfortunately, he had left for other functions something that media reports interpreted as snubbing the Buganda Kingdom official. Bobi Wine came out to explain.

"On the same day I had been invited to officiate at four different functions (Gayaza Junior School, Kinaawa Secondary School, Nangabo Youth Bicycle race and the Uganda cranes vs South Sudan football match at Lugogo KCCA grounds).

After the Katikiro’s speech at around 3pm, and owing to the many panic calls from the organisers of the other functions, I silently left and rushed to catch up with my other engagements.

I must say it was a humiliation to the people of Kyadondo East to have their elected representative seated at a function for almost five hours and not given any opportunity to say a word. I had prepared to use the occasion to suggest ways of improving our education system!

Therefore, by the time the cake was cut, I was long gone and I think it was more important for me to say a word to my people rather than cut that cake."

On the other hand, his wife is battling with a certain group that was throwing shade at her family, which she says it's okay provided they don't involve her children.

"Me and my husband can be point of discussion any day, any time, any type of topic, hateful, or positive we are very fine with the scrutiny whether for fun or as role models. I However, would request that Our children be kept out of the immature hateful discussions," Barbie noted.

I represent the new generation...

How are you going to manage the change that you want to see in Uganda?

"I'm going to stand on the issues. My standing up was to encourage other young people and give them the confidence, I'm sure it's working."

"President Museveni lost touch with the people and the values he stood for, him preaching for fundamental change, but right now he stands for no change. He said that Africa's problem and Uganda in particular are the people who stay in power for long, but he has been in power for 31 years and still counting, so I believe that the M7 of then and of now would have a bitter fight if they met..."

Speaking of the President, do you want to be President of Uganda one day?

"Well, I'm president already, I'm the president of the Ghetto [laughs] People gave me a responsibility of representing them in parliament and that is what I want to do for now, I don't want to cross bridges that I've not reached yet."

Take me through some of the reforms in the Ugandan society.

"Inclusiveness...I believe the President has too much power right now and I believe that it should be reduced 2. Human rights abused constantly because there is so much rule of the gun other than the rule of law, the same way I've been preaching to the voters is the way I want to preach to the members of parliament to try and change their mindsets and show them that they need to reconnect with the people."

What are you going to do to lift those people out of the Ghetto, how are you going to improve their lives with the economy of Uganda?

Sponsored

"Our Ghettos are full of young people and 80% of them are unemployed, we need to bring up policies that are going to look into that and that is the best way to curb crime. Look at our health the budget that is being allocated to health is ashaming, the education system is pathetic.."

Can you sing something for us now;

He goes for a stanza off his Time Bomb song...

"I would like to Communicate
about the things that we have to Eliminate
The Ignorance and poverty to Eradicate
All these Ghetto children to Educate..

YO..I don't know why the corruption is too much yaGaYaGaHhh
And the price of Electricity is so high yaGaYaGaHhh
Why the price of Education is too much yaGaYaGaHhh
Disrespect of the constitution is too much.."

Sheila Nduhikire's sister is one of the top students in this year's UCU law school

Looking at the above pic, you could think it's NTV's news anchor Sheila Nduhikire graduating, no it's not her, it's her little sister Daphne. And It's just amazing how the two look alike.

Sheila had the best words for her little sister who was among the graduands that were soaked in rain on Jul 7 as over 1,000 students graduated.

"Congratulations to my blood Daphine for shining so bright! You've brought so much pride to us.
Featuring among the top students in your Law Class is no mean feat! May you grow to become the wisest Lawyer in the Land."

This year's Bachelors of Law course had 285 students and was the best performed.

Sheila had a light moment with the recently elected Kyadondo MP Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, she knows his songs word by word...

Bobi Wine being interviewed by Sheila Nduhikire

Honorable Kyagulanyi responds to Bebe Cool

Bobi Wine is the in thing right now. Radio and TV stations, blogs, newspapers and social media platforms are all trending with Bobi Wine who amazed everyone including rivals in his Kyadondo East landslide victory. The ruling party, NRM, was equally impressed now that they were able to beat the main opposition party, FDC in an area where the former party leader Dr. Kizza Besigye hails from.

While appearing on NTV's Talk of the Nation, news anchor Sheila Nduhukire had a few questions for Hon. Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.

Ads

How do you feel? she asked! Bobi posed the same question, You how do you feel? but then, he went on to answer her.

"It's exciting, I expected it...but I was like did they understand me, did I communicate well, but after the election, I realized they had understood me."

When did you decide to join politics?

I grew up in an era of bad politics and hoped things would change, so I realized if I want change, then I have to be the change. However, I woke up after the 2016 elections.

Aren't you an opportunist, many had hoped you would leave Hon. Apollo Katinti to complete his term and then you come in 2021?

If anybody is calling me an opportunist, then, I would call out to any one out there who thinks like me to stand for their rights, It's my right to stand for any political post. I don't belong to any party much as I was born in DP and personally, I'm friends with Dr. Kizza Besigye.

Ads

With your new responsibility are you going to drop the bad habits?

There is a Bobi Wine and Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi who you are talking to right now. Do you want to talk to Bobi Wine?[laughs], but I'm not here to represent my life in the past and everyone has their past. I was born in Kamwokya, I met Barbie and we have children, I believe that shows a different Bobi Wine from the past.

Bebe Cool thinks you are in this for the money

Why Bebe Cool, but now that you've talked about him, I will respond. Not everybody thinks the way I think...Bebe Cool is my old comrade, but we do not grow at the same pace. I learn new things and I'm proud of what I am today. I'm not a politician because that word does not describe me, I'm a leader...Me and Bebe see things in a different way. I'm not in this for the money, I made enough money before I went into politics.

Earlier on, Bebe Cool was appearing on a Kenyan television, he was asked if he could consider joining politics and this was his response; "No my father did, but not me. I don't like politics, I like being rich and I don't think politicians can be rich."

This comment attracted wild cheers from the Sauti Sol group, they were attending the same interview.

Bebe Cool with a Nigerian star in th Coke Studio

Bebe Cool had it rough with Bobi Wine fans

Yesterday was a day purely and also dedicated to Bobi Wine. All TV and radio stations plus all other platforms were following the Kyadondo East poll and that was all that made sense to Bobi Wine fans. Elsewhere, life was going on normally with Bebe Cool who took to his wall to update his fans what was happening with him in the Coke Studio.

"Just got done with day 4 #cokestudioafrica cooking more music and rehearsing in preparation to deliver a great product with my brother from Nigeria @Falzthebahdguy."

This post got close to 1,000 comments and these are some of the comments that followed:

"Bobi has just won the Kyadondo East MP election. Are you aware?"

"I hear coke studio!!!, the news making rounds now is Hon. Kyagulanyi, I repeat, Hon. Kyagulanyi, tomorrow, we are heading to Chameleon's Hit after hit we relax a bit and on Sunday, we head to One Love Beach."

"No one hates Bebe cool here, but sometimes you have to be nice to your neighbours. When Kenzo hit the BET limelight what did he say? And just before Bobi was elected, what did he say? I have 3 kids, but when my neighbours got their first child, I went straight and said Congs to them."

"The world is busy this week, wait man."

"Let's respect these people, Bobi is an MP now which is good for all of us as his fans, but at the same time not all will do the same if Bebe is cooking something in music it's very okay."

Meanwhile, Bebe Cool is following tabs on everything else, he has wished Jose Chameleone the very best on his Hit After Hit concert tonight.

"Wishing the legend a successful concert today. A music journey well covered and one that deserves full respect."

Barbie briefing Bobi during campaigns

Barbie gives Shamim Namawa a run for her money

It's 2 days to the D-Day and Bobi Wine looks spent, but his other half, Barbie Kyagulanyi has been by his side through thick and thin if the dust that rocked her hair last week is anything to go by.

Ads

The other day we saw the ex-Maisha dancer, Shamim Namawa, down on her bended knees all in the name of votes for her hubby, Apollo Katinti. Many had never seen her in this type of attire, but politics had humbled her.

Then came the village belle, Barbie Kyagulanyi, who by the way is not taking anything for granted and will do anything to see hubby in the August house. The mom of four went on her knees to not only beg for votes, but also to thank the voters in Kyadondo East for the love and support they've showed the Omubanda Wa Kabaka.

When Shamim went on her knees, Barbie was like Tondabanga!!

Most Bobi Wine rivals say that all the people turning up for his rallies are simply going there to be entertained as several artistes have been performing during his campaign trails. However, all this will be sorted on Jun 29 when the voters in Kyadondo East will decide on who their new legislator will be.

Bobi Wine spent Eid-El-Fitr celebrations with his Muslim supporters reminding them of his clock sign on the ballot paper. "Where you see the clock is where you should tick," He added.

It's a music kind of thing between these two. Katinti uses Stecia Mayanja's song dubbed Katinti while Bobi Wine has kept to his Bikwase Kyagulanyi song to drive his message home. Apollo Katinti's wife is a musician and video vixen which also puts him in these circles.

The other players in the game are NRM's Sitenda Sebalu who among others unleashed the Mama Fiina mercenary. This Mama Fiina atuyambe thing is having a tendency of going viral lately, so she came on board to provide freebies to mostly women who were supporting Sitenda

Nkunyingi Muwada is the other contestant in the game, but all you see is him holding a ball [his sign on the ballot paper] and all he says is that Apollo Katinti never said anything while in Parliament.

Bobi Wine is all set for nominations tomorow

Withdraw Katinti in my favor, Bobi Wine, asks FDC

Nominations for the Kyadondo East by-elections are on, NRM's Sebalu Sitenda has been dully nominated today. Singer robert Kyagulanyi who is running on an independent ticket will be nominated tomorrow.

"Today I was invited to a meeting with the FDC top leadership to find a way of harmonizing the situation in the Kyadondo East by-election. I made it clear that although I am running as an INDEPENDENT candidate, I have many supporters in FDC since we are all forces of change and subscribe to the same ideology."

"I also suggested that FDC withdraws it's candidate Hon. Apollo Kantinti in favor of my candidature so that we can win with an even bigger margin than we are already doing. I await their decision. In the meantime, we are warming up for nomination tomorrow morning at Kasangati Saza grounds and thereafter, I will address a rally at Wampeewo grounds. I hope my FDC family joins the winning team."

The poll day is June 26, 2017 and as you can see, Bobi Wine is very confident the win is his. On the other hand, NRM's Sitenda says if he can take on Besigye and trounces him then who are these ?

Politics is a funny game, Bobi Wine still has a few hours before we can know whether he is a candidate or not.

Bebe Cool at a recent function

Bebe Cool explains why Ugandan artists are not listed on the Forbes' Rich list

Forbes in their May issue released a list of top ten richest artistes in Africa, our Ugandan entertainers were not among them. The list featured Nigerian artists who included; Davido, WizKid, Don Jazzy among others. It also had Hugh Masekela and DJ Black Coffee from South Africa. Senegalese-American, Akon, was top on the list.

One publication featured the article branding Ugandans as broke, but the Mbozi Za Malwa singer, Bebe Cool had a different view.

"We are not broke, We are just clever."

"Before you compare Ugandan artists to America, Nigeria, South Africa and others of the kind, find out which of those countries have had civil wars in the last 70 years and what are the effects of civil wars. Know the size and population versus it's economy before you disrespect Ugandan artists," Bebe Cool noted.

Bebe Cool, Chameleone and Bobi Wine can still pass as the top artistes for now, but they all seem to agree that having music as your only source of income in this country is a bit of a trick. This morning, as he talked about his MP aspirations for Kyadondo East parliamentary seat, Bobi Wine noted that he employs over 200 people at his various businesses.

Kenya's Tourism Ambassador, Eddy Kenzo, on the other hand, seems to be beating the odds with his strategy of breaking ground in regional and international markets clearly confirming that, there's quite a lot that needs to be done when it comes to promoting music.

Short of that, Bebe Cool is still doing very well by Ugandan standards, if his 400Million Merc birthday present to his wife, Zuena is anything to go by. He also has rentals, and a Hummer among others.

Bobi Wine's daughter is not leaving any stones unturned

Bobi Wine's little daughter is the 'campaign manager'

Bobi Wine's campaign manager, Suubi Shyne Nakaayi, is not leaving any stones unturned, she is using everything at her disposal to make sure daddy goes to the house. It's about 40 days to the poll, June 26, 2017 is the date when Kyadondo East voters will decide on who represents them after the winner was thrown out by court.

Shyne will turn 2 in August and by then, she will know if her efforts paid off or not.

"Looks like the most ardent supporters in my house are the ladies, where are the men?," Bobi asked. Bobi Wine and Barbie are blessed with four children; Shalom, Shadrack, Solomon and the last born, Suubi Shyne. The girls have their gear ready and they are on duty, including little Shyne who is doing a good job so far.

Shadrack and Solomon are yet to join in drumming up support for Daddy.

"It is time for a new generation of leaders to step up and take the responsibility of cleaning up our politics. It is for this reason that I am offering myself now as a servant of the people. Let it not be a rumour anymore. I am standing for Member of Parliament as an independent candidate."

"I offer myself as a leader, not a politician."

Barbie, Shyne and Shalom for Bobi Wine

Barbie, Shyne and Shalom for Bobi Wine...An official from Uganda's Electoral Commission said that the mistakes that led to the previous poll results to be overturned won't happen this time around. Over 260Million has been put aside for the 26 June elections to be held.

In a related development, Kenya's singer Charles Njagua Kanyi aka Jaguar is also giving politics a shot, he is vying for the Starehe parliamentary seat.

Zuena and Barbie and inset is Daniella hugging Bebe Cool

Barbie Kyagulanyi's posts on social media put Zuena Kirema on pressure

The top three 'First Ladies' in the music industry are Barbie Kyagulanyi, Daniella Atim Mayanja and Zuena Kirema.

They all have a social media presence and Barbie being an author, it's not unusual to come across a good post. A case in point is when she referred her hubby to a weed growing through a hard concrete.

Why Barbie will not get rid of this weed at their beach

Barbie compares that weed to Bobi Wine who in spite of what he has been through will get there just because of the strong foundation that was laid. The post was made in reference to the troubles Bobi Wine was having with the Mengo authorities over his land, first in Mulago and just recently in Busabala.

This has boosted his bid to contest for the Kyadondo East parliamentary seat causing a lot of panic to the other would-be candidates.

Daniella Atim Mayanja is so laid back, has very few words and not very active when it comes to the use of social media, in fact, once pushed to the edge, she can beat [Chameleone's Wife Daniella Atim Beats Up a Scribe] and that's her, you can afford to brand her as anti-social when it comes to the use of social media.

Last but not least, is none other than Bebe Cool's wife, Zuena Kirema who uses her Facebook portfolio to advertise her pastries business, events management biz and of course, nice shots of her and hubby.

However, she has now tried to put a bit of life to her page, but the direction she is taking looks like she is shooting herself in the foot.

"Ladies, we need friends who are going to uplift us to be better mothers, sisters, workers, useful & respective ladies in the community. We don't need friends who keep updating us about the happening events around us, latest trends of clothes, friends who see a free drink in front of them & act like they've seen heaven."

One of her followers was forced to ask, "Should we also ignore Bebe Cool events?" He got no response from her.

"Let us accept, this Musoga lady is beautiful," one of fan complimented. "Thanks but I'm not a Musoga," Zuena replied.

Bobi Wine visits Dr. Kizza Besigye and DP's Nambooze

Bobi Wine has been singing about several issues, but he felt not enough action was being taken on whatever he talked about thus the decision to join politics.

The Situka singer was to do so last year, but pulled out at the last minute. Just last week, the seat fell vacant after the winner, Apollo Katinti, was thrown out after the Electoral Commission did not comply with some electoral laws.

The political musician has now embarked on his journey to Parliament. First, he visited the former Forum for Democratic Change leader, Rt. Col. Kizza Besigye for some tips.

It should be recalled that the thrown out legislator, Apollo Katinti, subscribes to FDC party and Bobi Wine, will be contesting on an independent ticket once he is successfully nominated.

The four time presidential candidate blessed him."He gave me the blessing to represent the people of Kyadondo East in parliament," Bobi Wine noted as he shared a pic of Dr. Kizza Besigye seeing him off on Sunday.

On Labor Day, Robert Kyagulanyi in the company of his son was onto his next location and that was none other than suspended Democratic Party's Betty Nambooze.

The Mukono Municipality MP is bedridden from injuries she sustained during her arrest as police stopped them from holding a DP meeting in Masaka.

Bobi Wine and his son paid her a visit taking with them some goodies that included matoke and cockerel among others.

Bobi Wine explaining to the TV host what he intends to do once voted

Bobi Wine confirms he will be contesting for MP Kyadondo East

Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has confirmed he will be contesting for the Kyadondo East MP seat that fell vacant today. Clad in his blue suit, the singer was appearing on NTV during the 7 O'clock news when he confirmed that he will be contesting.

Asked if he was a politician, Bobi Wine said he was not, but instead, he is a leader and that is why he was going to give it a go. The news anchor went on to ask him if his recent troubles are the one's that have led him to make that move, the Situka singer said not really as so many things have actually been done to him even before, but that does not in any way affect his loyalty to the Buganda Kingdom. I'm a Omubanda Wa Kabaka.

What is it that you going to do for the people that others have failed? "I've been talking about so many things in my music, but for some reason, the legislators don't attend to any of them, however, once I'm there, if it means singing to them on the floor, I will do so and trust you me, it will make a difference.

The former party leader of FDC, Dr. Kizza Besigye, was in court to give support to Hon Katinti who lost the seat and at the same time, he is a very close ally of singer Bobi Wine, it's now left to be seen who he will be rallying behind..

Bobi Wine for Kyadondo East MP race

Bobi Wine for politics and the excitement on Barbie's face says it all

Updated:

While appearing on NTV News at 7pm, Bobi Wine confirmed that he was going to contest for the Kyadondo East MP seat - "I will be joining the race for MP Kyadondo East and it's up to the Kyadondo people to give me their votes. None of my fans can belittle the Kabaka of Buganda so that will not affect me. I'm not a politician and I'm not vying for this post as a politician, but as a leader. I have so many songs sending my message out there, but It's high time I join the house to ensure all that is implemented."

Earlier:

The High Court in 2016 kicked out Kyadondo East MP Apollo Kantinti (FDC) after NRM’s William Sitenda Sebalu successfully challenged his election on the grounds that there was non-compliance with election rules. Hon. Kantinti appealed the court ruling.

However, today, the court ordered that Electoral Commission should conduct fresh elections. Previously, the Bikwase Kyagulanyi singer had considered contesting for that position, but was allegedly offered a Shs 200m 'bribe' to pull out, but when Bobi Wine was approached over the matter, he noted that his conscience is not for sell.

Bobi Wine said that was not the right time for him to contest, could that time be now after all that has been happening with him lately? Only time will tell.

Most of his fans have actually welcomed the idea of him standing for the Kyadondo East MP seat while others insist he is better off doing music but not politics.

The Grader that demolished Bobi Wine's beach is no more

Grader that demolished Bobi Wine's beach set ablaze

It's less than a week from the time when a section of Bobi Wine's One Love Beach was demolished, but quite a lot has happened;

The grader that was used to demolish the One Love Beach parking area is no more as locals had to set it ablaze on it's next mission.

After executing their job at Bobi Wine's beach, the grader made its way to another area that had been encroached on, but the residents there were not a 'joking subject'.

The drivers were forced to flee for their safety as the charged locals wanted to lynch them for destroying their crops and other valuables.

On failing to get the drivers, the locals turned their anger to the grader and set it ablaze, the hunt for the arsonists is on.

Bobi Wine was on record that he will not take any action, but when an official from Mengo issued a statement, the singer using his Facebook account noted that the report had some inaccuracies. He also issued his statement in which he told of how he was now taking the matter to the courts of law.

Meanwhile, this morning, the Buganda Premier, Charles Peter Mayiga in a presser stated that all those on the Buganda Land are going to be issued with land titles of a 49-year-lease.

Presidential advisor on Media affairs, Tamale Mirundi was like what happens after the 49 years?

Beach Demolition-Bobi Wine considers court action

Beach Demolition-Bobi Wine considers court action

It's Kabaka's birthday the same day Morgan Heritage will be performing live in Kampala, all the Rastas are feeling good, unlike Bobi Wine who is on a rampage following the demolitions on his beach last Friday.

The Omubanda Wa Kabaka has released a statement on the very day when all subjects loyal to the King are in Buloba-Busiro celebrating his 62nd birthday.

Earlier on, Bobi had chosen to play things calm, but when an official from Mengo came up with a statement on the now contentious issue, it did not go down well with him, thus a long report in which he states the following;

"In that statement, there were many deliberate lies, inconsistencies and misinformation intended to portray me as someone who was illegally occupying the land in question and who had been warned several times to vacate it and refused. He revealed details of my transactions which I considered confidential."

Bobi Wine's son Solomon shaking hands with the Kabaka at a recent function

Bobi Wine is so disturbed. In 2010, he bought 4 acres of land, paid all the premiums and was granted a 49-year-lease, but four years down the line, the same is being cancelled.

"I developed the area by installing electricity, planted several species of imported trees and the very people demolishing were there to celebrate with me some of these developments."

It's the second time this is happening so Bobi Wine can't hold it any longer, he wants to be sure the Kabaka is aware all this is happening. A detailed post can be found on his Facebook portfolio, but he states categorically that it's not him carrying out the evictions in Busabala, it's Kingdom officials.

Bobi Wine concludes;

"Although it was not my intention to pursue this matter any longer, Mr. Kiyimba’s statement has left me with no option but to seek justice and clear my name through all available legal avenues. This decision comes after long and deep thought, and I hope it can be a step towards pursuing justice for many people and improving relations between the Kingdom and the common person."

Bobi Wine acquired the affected land illegally

"When am happy, I always find myself in the studio, same thing happens when am sad. Trying to motivate myself." Bobi Wine has rushed to the studio to record his latest song that will feature events around him currently.

The Situka singer is still getting to terms with the demolitions that took place at his One Love Beach in Busabala last Friday.

Last night, Bobi Wine was on one Television but you could not miss to see how broken he was over the matter. Kampala Central MP Muhamed Nsereko advised him to keep calm as followers do not take on a King.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom came out to clarify on which land was in contention. One Love Beach seats on 6.25 acres(It's intact), but there's also an additional 0.5 acres that Bobi was occupying illegally as the two parties had not finalized on the acquisition process.

  Bobi Wine Gossip News

The source in Buganda Land Board adds that he had not only encroached on 0.5 acres, but had added approximately another 1.5 acres making it close to 2 acres.

"From 2011 to March 2017, Bobi Wine was informed in writing regarding this land and requests to meet him and solve the issue amicably fell on deaf ears.

It is, therefore, surprising that Bobi Wine is now using the media to put the good name of the Kingdom in disrepute when it is him who occupied the land illegally and forcefully.

Some members of Bobi Wine’s family have made phone calls threatening Kingdom employees regarding this issue. We advise Bobi Wine to restrain his family members from making such threats," Noah Kiyimba, the Kingdom spokesperson noted in  a statement.

Bobi Wine breaks down over beach demolitions

Bobi Wine breaks down over beach demolitions

"I had decided to keep quiet about this. However, I saw an official from the same office on TV completely disregarding my legality of being there."

"Apart from the main venue of One Love beach by the lakeside that we had acquired and developed into a beach for more than a decade now; in 2010, I bought another piece of land from the same office, which I paid for FULLY and developed into a modern parking lot that we have been using since then."

It should be noted that at the time of its purchase, that land was heavily occupied by 'Bibanja' owners who I also paid/compensated fully and they vacated happily.

"The demolitions and evictions that have been taking place in Busabala were all tagged to my name, yet they were being carried out by Mengo itself, but they never came out to tell the public the truth leaving me to face the hate of the people. I said nothing about the issue, but I guess people should now know the truth."

He Concludes:

"The injustice that has been done to me is the least that I would expect from the kingdom that I LOVE SO MUCH. I have invested all my youthful energy, earnings and time in this place that I had become so attached to. It is such a tough time for me and my family but like it has been said; "What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger"

Inset is Bobi Wine talking about the saga...

Part of Bobi Wine's One Love Beach demolished

A section of Bobi Wine's One Love Beach in Busabala has been demolished by officials from Kabaka's office for encroachment. A caterpillar was seen driving a few yards from Bobi Wine's black Tundra pick-up that he had parked as a way of protesting the move he termed unfair.

"I paid for the land, paid off all the squatters and have been developing this land for the last five years, but this morning, my workers just saw a grader drive in and off they started with the demolition process. I will not pursue it any longer," a visibly disturbed Omubanda Wa Kabaka noted.

Officials from Buganda Land Board (BLB) said that several reminders have been given to Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine so it's not true that we swung into action without his notice.

This is coming at the time when Bobi Wine is in final stages of his Ensasagge Ya Easter show that will take place over the Easter period.

Bobi Wine drives past an Elephant a Murchison Falls NP

Bobi Wine has apologised to all those who called his line to pass on a wide range of presents, it was off as he and his better half were in north-western Uganda, to be exact, Murchison Falls National Park.

Clad in a white T-shirt with these words; "Extra ordinary people are born in February", Bobi in the company of his wife, Barbie, went for the game drive in their black Tundra pick-up that got them to the wild spots bringing them close to the Elephants; Giraffe's, Kobs and Bufaloes among others...

The sound of the ride was scaring most of the animals so they were forced to move at a slow pace not to scare them, though, buffaloes and elephants were not intimidated by the Tundra sound.

The highlight of the visit was the surprise birthday treat dinner in the wild and Bobi Wine joining the group of entertainers at the waiting spot for the ferry, it was a moment of joy as the blind man was told that Bobi Wine was dancing to his music..."

"Two things; 1. Apologies to all my friends for my absence on my day. Many were calling me to bring me cake and gifts but to no avail. My wife 'man-napped' (kidnapped) me and took me to a road trip to the wild for Safari, visiting Muchion Falls the most powerful water falls in the world, very many species of animals at the national park. Can't forget to Paraa Safari Lodge and the community of Paraa for the fun and Hospitality."

"My birthday evening was made even more special when Chobe lodge surprised me with a dinner in the wild and a birthday chocolate cake. I can't thank them enough for hosting us and taking very good care of us.
It turned out to be the best birthday I've ever had...I never really knew how beautiful our country is."

"Nevertheless, there was a mega party at One Love Beach and It was really fun. (I love it when things go on, even in my absence). Proud of you guys."

What I do to keep Bobi loving me more - Barbie

It's the month of love and the Ghetto first lady has revealed what she does to keep her prince charming loving her all the way...It gets better by the day she adds.

Barbie revealed that she has been asked this question more times than they have asked her what her favourite food is!!

"How do you keep your family together and get your husband to love and respect you so much?"

"Well, I will attempt to answer you but first; can I ask a question in return?"

"Are you sure you are building a family with the right one? Did you end up with a partner who has similar preferences and targets in life as you? Are they ready to grow with you? If you two don't join forces to achieve things you think are important in making you the winning team, then the foundation of your family is weak."

"You will not be able to stand most of life's challenges if your energies are divided. It should be you two against the world. If you start by baring one another and letting love overshadow all weaknesses, then every other thing will be a walkover. To have a partner whose love for you grows every other day, that your person must be a ride or die, a partner in crime, a nfa nfe!"

"This should be the first person that comes to your mind when you see something nice and wish they were there to see it with you..Your partner should be able to look at how you blink and interpret what you are trying to say! First step to having a family that's your peer's wish is; making sure you end up with the right one. As we embrace this month of love, I won't hide my excitement! It's my person's birth month!"

That is exactly what Barbie does to keep Bobi loving her more every other day, she chose the right partner and i whatever she does, Bobi comes first.

Bobi Wine's much cherished color is blue these days

Still from the Fire Base Crew, Bobi Wine is suing the Electoral Commission for having used his 'Obululu' song in the days leading up to the Feb.18.2016 Uganda Presidential elections.

It's not clear what led to this but during the time when he was premiering his Ndi Muna Uganda video, Barbie Kyagulanyi's hubby said that he was okay with EC using his song but also wondered why his Dembe song had been banned on the goverment TV's and radio stations.

The message in Bobi Wine's Obululu song reasonated well with the previous elections as the youth were the majority. In the song, Bobi Wine says the votes should not divide us irrespective of what party one subscibed to.

Bobi Wine now wants the Electoral Commission to compensate him for copyright infringment. The Kiwani singer is demanding for Shs 100 million in compensation. EC has 15 days to respond.

Sweet potatoes will be part of Barbie's dish for quite sometime

Bobi Wine's wife Barbie Kyagulanyi loves sweet potatoes and nothing will get into her way.

"Any time is tea time and sweet potatoes will be featuring till further notice," Barbie captioned the pic that was taken outside their Magere based home.

It's not common for our local stars to share pics of sweet potatoes, in most cases it's pizzas, small potatoes or french fries, hotdogs and others going to the extremes of showing avocado and sushi, but Barbie is true to herself, it's  sweet potatoes all the way. And these potatoes have been harvested from their garden.

Potatoes are packed with vitamins A,C and B6 which are vital in fighting illnesses like flu and colds. Potatoes also contain four times your recommended daily allowance of iron, fibre and potassium.

Get to enjoy your potatoes, though, you should always send it down with a drink just like Barbie did.

Bobi Wine fans in Karamoja were having a feast day after paying a mere Shs200 to watch the Ndi Muna Uganda singer perform. The dad of four was in Northern Uganda for the Wold Water Day celebrations.

Among others, Bobi Wine alongside officials from Viva Con Agua, a German charity dedicated to fighting global poverty spent the day checking out the water and sanitation projects, the singer also had a word of encouragement to the young men and women up there.

Salaamu Musumba's take on this

The day was crowned off with a concert which did not leave a heavy burden on their pockets, actually, they did not feel it at all as children were paying 200 shillings and adults 500.

The concert was held at the Moroto Boma Grounds.

Amazingly, this was the first time Bobi Wine was performing in Karamoja. He revealed to his over 200,00 fans on facebook how he was supposed to perform in Karamoja way back but opted out due to low pay from the promoter, but this time, the singer was stepping on speakers and fans recording the moment on their cell phones for a mere Shs500. Thanks to Viva Con Agua.

Bobi Wine at NTV Uganda studio during the NTV the Beat show
The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) boycott of musicians and NRM activities let alone not working on Thursday's kicks off officially today.

FDC through their spokesman, Ibrahim Semujju Nganda, appealed to all those who voted for FDC's Kizza Besigye in the just concluded presidential elections to join them in the struggle, however, the issue of not working for two days in a week is something many of their supporters are not buying.

On Women's day, Bobi Wine in the company of his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi went to visit Dr. Kizza Besigye at his home in Kasangati, amazingly, he was not stopped by the security manning the area thus thanking the police bosses for that kind gesture as many have actually been denied access to the Kasangati based home.

Among others, Bobi Wine's meeting was about the recent FDC press conference that will see them donning black colours on Tuesday's as they go for prayers at various FDC offices, not working on Thursday's, but most importantly the boycotting of musicians behind the NRM campaign song dubbed, Tubonga Nawe.

Many have actually put their album launches on hold except Bebe Cool and the Goodlyfe Boys. Bobi Wine is not among the Tubonga Nawe artists but felt that any problem in the industry was not good for them as a whole and that is the reason he took that step to meet the FDC flag bearer to see if they could reconsider their stand on his colleagues.

Bobi Wine also launched his Ndi Muna Uganda video on NTV the Beat and at the end of his interview, he was asked what was hurting him most, the ghetto gladiator said that the continued incarceration of Dr. Kizza Besigye for no apparent reason was his main problem. He signed off by appealing to fans to continue supporting all artists.

Bobi Wine sips teas as Besigye looks on

Bobi Wine decided to celebrate International Women's day by checking on the FDC presidential flag bearer who has since been under preventive arrest at his Kasangati based residence.

The two discussed quite a number of things including the Tubonga Nawe boycott that was yesterday announced by the FDC party. Bobi went with his wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi.

Dr. Kizza Besigye has lost four consecutive presidential elections to President Museveni with the last one being February 18, 2016 elections but the FDC party rejected the results.

Besigye has since been held at his home as a preventive measure, but today, the retired colonel was wearing a wide smile when the Situka singer, Bobi Wine, paid him a courtesy visit.

Incidentally, not everyone is allowed to visit the FDC candidate in the just concluded Uganda elections. US and European envoys recently visited him at Kasangati.

"This is how I chose to celebrate my Women's day," Barbie Wine noted.

Bobi Wine casting his vote

It's two hours to the end of the polls for the local government leaders but many polling stations are still registering a low voter turn out.

The Lord Mayor is being voted today and the three candidates contesting for the post are; the incumbent Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago taking on NRM's Daniel Kazibwe aka Ragga Dee and DP's, Issa Kukungwe.

"Today I found my self at the polling station. The Ugandan in me still believes in Democracy, I believe in #DemocraticChange. If you have not voted yet, I urge you to go and exercise your constitutional right, some times we do not vote to win but to make a statement...As youth,it's our duty to practice democracy and as for the authorities, it's their duty to respect it. #ObululuTebutwawula‬," Bobi Wine wrote after casting his vote.

Barbie is the best thing that has happened to Bobi Wine. With just two days to Valentine's day, the mom of four organised a surprise birthday for her hubby by getting a band to play for him a birthday song plus his other songs that include Kiggwa Leero and Mazzi Mawanvu.

Bobi's surprise 35th birthday
Bobi turned 35 today and while still sleeping, he heard the noise around his home as early as 6:00am and on coming out to the balcony still clad in his pyjamas, the Muna Uganda singer was shocked to see his Fire Base Army matching to the Mazzi Mawanvu song and when they saw him, they quickly switched to the birthday song.

It was such an awesome moment, he was forced to rush all the way down to mix and mingle with the Fire Base Army. His son and daughter were already having fun with the army.

"I was invaded this morning by the Fire Base Army‬ in what would turn out to be the most pleasant surprise. Waking up to trumpets sounding in my compound and voices singing Happy Birth Day‬ to me was more than I could imagine."

"Big thanks to my Valentine‬ Barbie for the thought and to you Fire Base guys, each of you will personally pay for this, I will revenge..."

"This has been the best birthday ever and it's not even started yet. Thank you guys for the love, I don't take it for granted," he concluded.

Later in the day, the birthday boy was also showered with some water as a way of celebrating his day.

Bobi Wine's Ndi MunaUganda video stolen

The Dembe singer is not a happy man. Just after letting whoever cared to know that his Dembe song was not being played on several music platforms, Bobi Wine woke up to the shocking news that his studio had been broken into. What was lost? The people who broke in made off with several cigars and matters were made worse when his unreleased music was stolen too.

"We shot the Ndi MunaUganda video recently and it was supposed to be released just after Feb 18 to inspire unity among Ugandans despite different political affiliations, but as it stands now, the video won't be released anytime soon."

He went on to explain that all he has now regarding the stolen video are just still pictures. "I can't imagine redoing it, it was very expensive and very hectic," he concluded.

When this got to the Fire Base fans, the were quick to tell him that it was the video that was stolen and not the idea, they were more than prepared to do a "Ettoffali" contribution towards the project so that the video can still be released at the very time he was set to launch it.

Bebe Cool tries to down play Bobi Wine's views

Bobi Wine is for FDC while Bebe Cool is for the ruling party. It's nine days to the presidential poll and the two artists are seen trying to out do each other as they account for their dime.

This morning, Bobi Wine started off with a call to the artists on the Tubonge Team to use the same voice to echo out the concerns of the common Ugandan. In his message, Bobi Wine had this to say;

"In Uganda, 282 children and 16 mothers DIE EVERY DAY due to avoidable birth-related causes. They died yesterday, they have or will be dead by the end of today and the same will happen tomorrow until there is a #CHANGE. It has been like that for the longest time."

That is exactly how some one from the opposing ideology would put their message across, but that was not all, he also had something for his fellow artists;

"To all my fellow artists doing campaigns, your voice is very strong in this nation and that's why you get paid by politicians to sing their praises, please use the same voices to create awareness about the plight of common Ugandans. No one is going to represent your people if you don't. You now have the leaders' audience, TELL THEM THE TRUTH!"

Bebe Cool was forced to come out in his usual way of ducking under the "let me see if Ugandans understand English" style.

"The East African news paper has declared President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni winner, let me see if Ugandans understand ENGLISH." Bebe Cool was referring to the East African news paper article which extensively looked at the 10 issues to determine the outcome of the Feb.18 presidential poll.

Bobi and Barbie and inset is the tax letter

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) on Dec 18 slapped Bobi Wine with a tax evasion fine of 54 million. The Dembe singer was given seven days to clear the amount or else it would attract interest as a result of delayed payment.

The demand notice letter was addressed to Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine of Nangabo Magere and it's; Unpaid income tax for the period-July 2008 to June 2015, making it 8 years in arrears.

It's not clear when the letter was delivered but it first appeared online two days back though looking at the receipient area, it's unsigned.

Right now though, one thing on Bobi Wine's mind is his Dembe song which he says has been silently banned on all government platforms much as the regulator, Uganda Communication Commission (UCC), insists it was not banned.

"As an artiste,I used my musical talent to send out a message of peace and tolerance during this election period. It was my contribution to the peace that we all seek to maintain. Following the controversial news of banning the song, UCC came out to clear the air and denied banning it."

Barbie Wine chilling out on one of their boats

"However, this song has been silently but realistically banned on all state media. I was at UBC and I was told straight that following a meeting, it was resolved that the Dembe‬ song will not air. Many people call on request hours to ask for the song but it's never played. Some programmes Directors of radio and TV stations have told me that they received calls ordering them not to play the song."

"Now my question is, are the authorities promoting peace and tolerance or are they enemies of peace and tolerance?" Bobi Wine concluded.

Bobi Wine visits Ham Kiggundu
Taking a ride on one of their two boats, Bobi Wine and family made a stop over at Hamis Kiggundu's house along the shores of lake victoria.

"Spent the Sunday at a friend's house with my family. These two brothers Ham and Haruna are just something else. So successful yet so humble...perfect examples for every young Ugandan aspiring for success." #Hardwork, #smartinvestment and #Godfearing were the hashtags Bobi Wine used to sum up what he saw with his very own eyes.

Ham Kiggundu is the CEO of Ham Shopping Mall located down town Kampala and Ham Towers in Wandegeya and another in Ntinda. In the pic below, Ham is seen showing Uganda's President the artistic impressions of his multi-billion arcades and inset is the Ghetto President with Ham at his multi-billion residence in Kawuku Bunga.

Most Searched January 2016

The first month of the year 2016 is behind us and looking at the top artists and how they fared via Google search, Bobi Wine is leading.

No doubt, his Dembe song which was launched on Jan 01 clearly has a lot to do with this. It was uploaded on YouTube and it has close to 70,000 views in just one month. The Dembe song was re-done by a lady Afande but Bobi is yet to respond to that as he's been busy evaluating the option of going to Eritrea for a short holiday with his wife Barbie.

The two boats that he recently added as a side business to the One Love Beach is the other thing that led Bobi Wine to rank top as the most searched artist.

David Lutalo is a force to reckon as he was on Bebe Cool's case. Lutalo dared the fans to put up a concert in the month of January when many are recovering from the festive season spend and also planning for the back to school period, but trust the Manya singer, it was a sold out show.

David Lutalo's muscle is felt further in the recently concluded Hipipo Awards, many seemed to agree that he deserved the Artist of the Year award.

The querry included two more artists, Chameleone and Juliana, but they were not searched for often enough to appear in the chart.

Barbie advises women on skin bleaching

This morning, to be exact at 8:45am, Bobi Wine's wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi revealed to her close pals what has been troubling her all these years and that was, skin bleaching or lightening. To drive the point home, Barbie used her sister Brenda.

  • Brenda is darker than us but comfortable in her skin tone,
  • If you think of bleaching, the whiten your dark heart instead,
  • Be confident of your dark self.

"I have a sister, her name is Bre. In the pic, Bre is wearing a denim top dress. Bre is darker than her two sisters. Bre is comfortable in her skin. Be like Bre. Love your skin tone, be confident of your dark self. If you must bleach, whiten your dark heart and leave your beautiful dark skin alone."

Minutes later, she was joined by her hubby, Bobi Wine who had this to say: "Well said First Lady, you said what has been on my mind for so long but couldn't find the confidence to address it. This goes to my friends too."

Could this be Bobi Wine's next song project after Obululu, Dembe and other cross cutting theme songs like Kampala and another to do with cleanliness, may be not but looking at how he does his thing we will not be surprised.

"I could say much more than this but 70 percent of my friends bleach! It makes me sad that even when I openly tell them how degrading it looks, none of them takes me serious. Bleaching is a symptom of your low self esteem. Please desist from it, " Barbie concluded.

"Barbie, bleaching is actually just a symptom, we have to find the root cause which I believe as you said is low self esteem. Treat the cause not the symptom. Find out why they have low self esteem and address it..." one responded to her post.

A section of ladies associate being fair and lighter to beauty and wealth a reason for the so many beauty skin parlors around the city.

Bobi Wine and Barbie test riding their boats

It's just over two weeks in the new year but Bobi Wine's progress is generally pretty encouraging. He started off with the launch of his Dembe song which encourages peace and togetherness. The song that has been well received is coming at the time when the country is preparing for Presidential elections in exactly one month from now.

Reports that it had been banned were down played by the country's communication regulator, UCC when a source was quoted saying; "There is no such thing."

Uploaded a week back on YouTube, the official video now stands at close to 50,000 views. Before the Dembe news could go off the trending radar, the Tomusobola singer has spiced up his One Love Beach with two new boats replacing the one that was bought in August 2012.

Over the weekend, Bobi Wine and some Fire Base crew members were on board taking lager as the One Love Beach CEO was on a test drive. Bobi said that one of the boats is 'Bobi' and the other is 'Barbie' it's not yet clear how much the two boats cost but the one he bought four years back was $750,000 and yet it was a relatively smaller one, so with these two, you can do the maths.
Barbie is all smiles

"..dull morning, the best company I needed today. Those moments when he starts promising me heaven on earth...and he is a man of his word by the way.." a visibly happy Barbie noted.

And as they enjoyed the boat ride, Barbie's sister was being proposed to, she could not resist as a big YESS followed.

Barbie looking on in disbelief

Bobi Wine's wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi was yesterday in Kamwokya visiting the Save Street Children Uganda (SASCU), an NGO charged with the responsibility of rehabilitation, reintegration and education of children off the streets of Kampala and other areas.

Barbie was chilling out with the children who now have a place they call home, some told her they want to be musicians when the grow up. Another just felt like touching Barbie's gigantic tattoo and that would make her day.

She went on to hold a meeting with the staff of the NGO who told her that they needed a better roof than the current structure among others. They have a website www.sascu.org which accepts donations.

Bobi Wine and locals saving motorists from 'sinking'
While Bebe Cool has embarked on highlighting the upcountry good roads, Bobi Wine is concentrating on the Kampala pot-holes. The Ndi Muna Uganda singer put his focus on an Old Kira road pothole that caused the death of two students under his watch. As they were still getting to terms with that loss, another accident happened, but luckily with this one, no one died.

This got the Ghetto Gladiator worked up, he borrowed a leaf from the #WhatWouldMagufuliDo? hashtag by teaming up with some locals to seal up the spot with improvised barricades to warn other motorists of the dangerous pothole.

It was a matter of hours or minutes before KCCA engineers responded to Bobi Wine's call.

"When we closed Old Kira Road this morning because of a deadly Hole, we wanted to draw attention of the authorities to the matter and it worked like magic...I want to thank KCCA for responding accordingly in just a matter of hours. We are now working with KCCA engineers to fix it in the shortest time," Bobi noted on his wall.

Meanwhile, Bebe Cool was a few days back in Karamoja jogging barefooted and he noted that in the nutshell, the roads in Uganda are good.

"As Ugandans living in Kampala are being lied to that roads in Uganda are bad and they believe because of the few bad ones in Kampala, well this is one of the best roads in Uganda not mentioning Kampala Kisoro road. It's in Karamoja."

From the pics Bobi shared on his wall, it was a fun family day out in Entebbe at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC).

"Me and my beautiful family spent the weekend at the wild life centre (Entebe Zoo) where our experience was memorable. As ambassadors spearheading the campaign to build a huger and better living space for big cats, we are calling upon families to come to the Zoo on December 6, 2015 for a fun filled family day out that's been called "Kampala colour run" organised by events 265."

the female fan is being helped out of the water

Yesterday was the Busabala Fest at Bobi Wine's One Love Beach, it was a sell out. Bobi Wine hit the stage at about midnight after several performances by artists like Evelyn Lagu, Micki Wine and Pallaso among others.

One female fan who took to the waters to have fun had it rough when a group of rowdy male fans surrounded her, splashed water all over and the next thing she realised, she was pantyless..She was only saved by a good samaritan who provided her with a spare short to cover up.

The young woman who looked to be in her early 20's came out crying not believing what had just happened to her...

Long queues at the One Love Beach

Short of that, the fans enjoyed their day with Bobi Wine playing his old and new songs..All was well except for Pallaso who tried to cause commotion because they did not allow his buddy to perform.

Fish and chips was the order of the day as the knocked out fans, mostly teens, were seen dancing provocatively. Bobi Wine's wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi, has thanked fans for turning up in large numbers.

"When you wake up and they tell you it's 4pm...was a long one yesterday, thanks for turning up darlings.."

Haruna Mubiru segway hilarious fall

Haruna Mubiru tried to join the hoverboard family by cruising on two wheels but he left everyone laughing as it sent him flying all the way down. We all remember the journalist who was covering Usain Bolt before running into him, Haruna's fall was worse. He is currently nursing minor injuries he sustained from the fall.

Haruna did not have the coordination it took to ride what is also termed as a segway board. Between 100 and 300 dollars, you can get yourself one.

Here is the list of other local stars making use of the latest trend:

Village Belle - Barbie with her baby
Barbie carrying her baby on her back at their Magere home

You can carry your baby on your back, hip or front depending on what you are comfortable with or what part of the world you're from. New mom, Ghetto first lady, Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi was yesterday carrying her one-month-old baby on her back just like a typical African woman attracting lots of thumbs up from Bobi Wine fans.

Wearing a big smile as she leaned on the black Bobi Wine customised Escalade, Barbara Itungo aka Barbie carried her baby on her back using a simple cloth as opposed to a baby carrier bringing out the simplicity in her.

"There's always a first time for everything," the village belle noted on her wall.

"Isn't it too early for your baby to be riding on the back at this time," one asked and Barbie's response was; "It was even a lot earlier for some of us but this is very okay for a baby of one month."

"I have four healthy children that means I have experience, she is a month old. At 4 weeks I had her siblings get o my back. It's not too early for training. This just the beginning. At 6 weeks, she can spend longer time on the back than she does at 4 weeks. Little by little everyday that's how she will manage to handle more time on the back."

"If you insist it's too early, I will understand, you haven't lived amongst the Bakiga women," she concluded.

It's a baby girl for Barbie and Bobi Wine

Congratulations to Barbie and her husband who welcomed their fourth child together this morning. The Kigwa Leero singer took to his facebook to communicate the good news.

"The grace of God has been manifested upon us yet again. Thanks for your prayers, this morning at 7:45am, Barbie has delivered a beautiful baby girl. Normal delivery, both baby and mom are in perfect condition."

He went on to say, "As of now, am too excited to say anything more, Ok bye,"

It's slightly close to nine months when Bobi Wine revealed that the UK based child was not his following the DNA test results, so they very quickly embarked on a replacement strategy which results we are seeing today. Shadrack, Shalom and Solomon are Barbie and Bobi Wine's other children, this one will also have an 'S' name.

On Saturday, Bobi Wine held a baby shower for Barbie at Serena Hotel, but now that they did not carry out a scan, they were not aware if it could be a boy or a girl, so the theme colours for the baby shower had to be pink and blue.

Meanwhile, Zuena will also be giving birth to their fourth child with Bebe Cool anytime soon, she is already in the US.

Bebe Cool gets a feel of Katsha's Lamborghini

"I want to thank all my fans in Uganda, East Africa as a whole and the entire diaspora for the love and support rendered during this lovely race."

"There is always a next time as I always say, what does not kill me only makes me stronger. Hard luck my bro Chameleone and let's continue with what we do best."

"Special thanks Gagamel family, gagamel management, Michael Fingers, Clarence A.Peters, Katsha De Bank and the press of Uganda."

Bebe Cool's message has received over 2,500 likes, 190 shares and close to 1,000 comments in just under 12 hours from the time he made the post.

The various camps of Kenzo and Bobi Wine are up in arms following the comments Bebe Cool has been making in the days leading up to the awarding event. Bobi Wine's camp is returning fire because their boss was told to get off drugs at the time he was trying to mobilize his team to vote for Bebe.

On the other hand, Kenzo's fans have never got to terms with the fact that Bebe Cool went to extremes to justify how Kenzo is still upcoming even after winning the BET award, it's a whole lot of -------- comments on Bebe Cool's wall.

He will certainly have a good response for them next month at the Friends of Bebe Cool concert that will be held at Serena Hotel on Aug 7, 2015.

Bebe Cool is not yet done with Bobi Wine

As Bebe Cool waits to know if he will win the MTV MAMA 2015 Video of the Year award tomorrow, he has an EID message for his fans and in his message, the Love you everyday singer says he is not arrogant and those who think he is, they do not know the meaning of the word arrogant.

  More of this story

"I did not have to but it has caught my attention, this issue that has been going on some illiterates branding me arrogant. Quick question, as you read this post, quickly turn to the person next to you and ask them, do you know the meaning of the word ARROGANT? "

"I personally think most people mistake professionalism and being principled for arrogance, For instance;

1- I believe in certain minimum standards in whatever I do, refusing to accept anything less than that doesn't make me arrogant.
2- I do not have to say what you want to hear if I do not believe it to be true
3- I believe in myself and are never afraid to tell it as it is if it makes sense to me. Your fear of expressing yourself doesn't make me arrogant.

4-Most people lack a certain level of understanding of some things. This affects their judgement hence blaming me yet they can't even digest what I write. They don't take time to comprehend the gist of what am saying, they just read and comment.

5-Inferiority complex: I think if you live to fear to be yourself, then I guess you fear to live, I don't.

Last but not least, I have a right to my opinion, to see things differently, doing what pleases me as long as it's not harmful to any one, seeing beyond where most people see, just because u don't perceive or even understand what I say does not make me ARROGANT."

These words are coming days after Bebe Cool branded Eddy Kenzo an upcoming artiste not even winning the BET award was enough to make him retract his statement, he stood by it. This propmted Bobi Wine to chip in by calling his fans to vote for Bebe Cool, may be this will make him behave better, Bobi concluded.

It's those words that have forced Bebe Cool to come out with such a strong statement to Bobi Wine.

Bebe tells Bobi Wine to get off drugs

Bobi Wine was on record when he came out to support Eddy Kenzo and as you all may be aware, Kenzo has won and now, the Kigwa Leero singer is asking his supporters to do the same for Bebe Cool. Bobi Wine adds that if Bebe Cool wins the video of the year award, he may become well behaved.

"I'm encouraging my fans to vote for Bebe Cool because we want Uganda music to go far no matter who gets to benefitt. He is ill mannered and if Ugandans show him some support, may be he will become well behaved."

As expected, this did not go down well with Bebe Cool who quickly shot back;

"Drugs drugs drugs, I always will say drugs are bad because they lead you to do so many mistakes and they even make some people think and see themselves where they are not."

"Now this music failure comes up to say am ill mannered, hmm mm. Emitwe gino!

"You are a married man still having live s3x with any girl in the clubs and bringing your wife kids, you promote drugs, you don't have good music, you can't speak english, you're local, you stay far from town and you brand a BIG MAN nominated in #mama.mtv.com awards with great music like Go Mama Album ill mannered

"By the way, I thought fans are for musicians with good music, little did I know there are fans for big mouths, and just to remind you, voting for Bebe Cool is by academy, on internet, for the learned, with MBs, and those who can press buttons.

"I know you're seeking attention but wrong move boy and to all fans of this TONTOMIST, please don't vote for me because you will vote wrongly and we might lose. Those who support me let's go."

Bobi Wine rallies behind Kenzo

#IpickEddy
The Sitya Loss star, Eddy Kenzo, was tipped to win the BET Awards - International Viewers' Choice Award going by the votes he had garnered from the various social networking platforms.

The polls were behaving in a manner that put South Africa's Cassper Nyovest under a lot of pressure after realizing that he was trailing behind Kenzo by over 4,000 votes, he urged his supporters to vote in large numbers.

The team at BET Awards has now come up with changes in the voting process. "For YOUR votes to be counted you must follow @bet_intl on Instagram and vote below on their picture with the hashtags mentioned in the picture."

This in simple terms could imply that the votes on facebook, twitter and other sites combined are not valid bearing in mind that they even go to greater length to emphasize that; For YOUR votes to be counted...it means that you can as well forget about the #IpickEddy votes on facebook and the likes and dash to Instagram to set up an account or vote if you already have one.

Bobi Wine joins the Kenzo Wagon

"An Iroko bird in Chinua Achebe's "things fall Apart novel" once said "since shooters have learnt to shoot without missing, we have learnt to fly without perching "......The Baganda also say "enswa bwekyusa eriso, naawe nga okyusa Envubo". These BET guys just declared millions of Kenzo's Facebook votes invalid saying we should only vote by Instagram. So I would like to encourage all patriotic Ugandans to vote our boy on Instagram like never before, We all agree this one is coming home."

   Bobi Wine grows Omulondo Roots

"As I went goat grazing, I discovered that my soil is best for, Omulondo, which can only be compared to oil when it comes to earnings, so to all the married men out there, just rush to me because I have the answer." Bobi noted on his wall.

Omulondo is a s*x tree popular among Ugandans for it's aphrodisiac properties.

In the pic, Bobi is seen doing justice to a long Omulondo root, we can just imagine what happened after that. In a related development, his wife Barbie is pregnant with their fourth child.

However, him being spotted with Omulondo left some fans feeling sorry for Barbie, others were pleading with him to spare her now that she is expecting.

Having posted this on April 01, you could as well say it took the award of the best prank on fools day. Below is Hellen Lukoma also enjoying Omulondo.

Happy Times - Bobi and Barbie

Away from the shoe theft allegations, Bobi Wine yesterday contributed shs 2,000,000/- (Two million shillings only) to the Ettoffalli drive. His camp shared a Buganda Twezimbe Masengere receipt no: 218415 to confirm the transaction.

A few days back, a Sheikh Muzaata clip belittling the Etoffalli drive went viral prompting Bobi Wine to attack the Sheikh saying that he was so disappointed in him for not respecting the Buganda Premier, in fact, he gave him a deadline to apologise, which was last Monday, but Muzaata is not about to bow down.

Just last week, Bobi Wine was invited to The Beat show on NTV by Douglas Lwanga to throw some light on what his next move was now that the Sheikh had not apologized, but as he left the show, he was intercepted by some journalist outside Serena hotel for a short interview, unfortunately, the shoe he was putting on at the time overshadowed what he talked about in the interview.

It still had a security tag on it. And now, Bebe Cool is riding on that branding him a thief for putting on a shoe with a security tag unless of course, the shop where the shoe was bought did not have a security tag detacher, but how could that be now that the security tag was put anyway!

The Bobi Wine camp has tactfully ignored that particular bit and responded with the various Ettoffali contributions made by Bobi Wine personally and as the Fire Base Crew CEO when the Buganda Premier visited areas pertinent to him, in total Bobi Wine has contributed Shs 20m/- as listed below:

  • Contributed 5m/- at One Love Beach
  • Contributed 5m/- at Gomba
  • 5m/- when the Kasubi Tombs got burnt
  • 2m/- from Bobi Wine when artistes contributed to the Kasubi Tombs
  • Plus the 2m/- of yesterday (Mar.30) which he supplemented with an additional 1m/- when the Premier visited his Semakokiiro Plaza.

"So how much does that sneaker cost? Bebe Cool had better come up with something else, otherwise byayanga," one Fire Base Crew fan noted.

Bobi is a shoe thief - Bebe Cool

Bobi Wine is a shoe thief - Bebe Cool

It all started with Sheila Gashumba's Behind the Scene's segment on NTV The Beat when she asked Bobi Wine that, who of the Ugandan artistes does not sing well, Bobi's response was Bebe Cool and on being asked why, this is what he had to say; "Bebe Cool should fire his composers because whatever he sings seems childish.."

Trust Bebe Cool, he could not just let him play with his space just like that, he shot back using the shoe which Bobi Wine was putting on during an interview at Serena hotel on Sheikh Nuuhu Muzaata, the shoe still had a security tag on it leaving Bebe with no choice but to brand him a shoe thief.

"I hear MBU a Ugandan artist stole a pair of shoes from a Dubai mall and wore it during an interview with a magnetic security tag, Ugandans, these are the things that make us lag behind, whoever it is please, advise him or her. Drugs ain't good."

Bobi Wine and his crew were last Sunday in Abu Dhabi for the shooting of the Nakumiss video, his second Swahili song. Meanwhile, his first Swahili song, Paradiso, has so far been well received but as far as Bebe Cool is concerned, putting on a shoe with a security tag is in no way paradise.

Premier Charles Peter Mayiga VS. Sheikh Muzaata

Buganda premier, Charles Peter Mayiga, was today in Kawempe mobilizing for funds in the Etoffali drive, millions were collected. Regarding the remarks Sheikh Muzaata made on the Etoffalli, Charles Peter Mayiga has asked Kawempe Mayor, Mubarak Munyagwa, to handle him.

Otherwise, the premier says, nothing is about to stop them, they still need more developments as the Buganda Kingdom.

Munyagwa is more than happy to deal with the Sheikh who he says is behaving like Jackie Chan.

While in Butambala, Sheikh Muzaata wondered how residents who depend on ginger were able to raise over shs 60million under the Ettoffaali drive.

"You could have used that money to revamp your dilapidated mosque other than contributing to Buganda's Ettoffali. How is Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga and Buganda’s ettoffaali contributing to your welfare and personal development?" Sheikh Muzaata asked.

Meanwhile, some artistes like Bobi Wine have come out to demand for an apology from Sheikh Muzaata, or else, they will ridicule him in their next songs.

For now though, Muzaata is still stuck to his guns.

Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine wars far from over

Bobi Wine's fans and Bebe's through their Firebase and Gagamel crews are having serious exchanges on social media platforms, because, Bebe Cool was not able to attend the funeral of Bobi Wine's father in person due to schedule conflicts.

For the record, Bebe Cool wrote a condolence message using his facebook profile, but the Fire Base Crew members felt that was not enough citing a case of Iryn Namubiru who was forced to cancel all her scheduled shows just to be their for Juliana much as they had separated years back.

Bobi Wine's fans expected a lot more than just a facebook post Bebe Cool made. On the day Bobi Wine's father was buried, Bebe Cool was at a graduation party for the Gagamel fans, he later crowned the night with a performance at Club Amnesia.

They went on to demand for an apology from Bebe Cool who has since declined saying that; "Initially, I was going to attend but when they changed that the body be taken to Bobi Wine's home, I was not sure of my security. Anything could have happened to me or my car. Guys from that camp like making news, so I decided to avoid the whole process."

"Besides, they did not read my condolence message, why should I apologise what crime have I committed, and then, did he apologise for calling my dad a Katala," Bebe Cool added.

We are on good terms with Bobi Wine's brothers, Eddie Yawe and Fred Nyanzi, so either way, I was touched. I also took the announcements on radio because I hold Mzee Sentamu in high esteem.

Bobi Wine and others are currently embroiled in wealth sharing discussions.

Bobi Wine turns 33 today, the very day his father is being buried in Gomba. The requiem service was held yesterday at the catholic church in Kamwokya.

"This is the day I was brought to this earth, this is the day that I am going to put away from the face of the earth the man that brought me here, this is my most sorrowful birthday, he didn't say happy birth day to me this year but am sure he is saying, Happy Earth stay son, Rest in Peace my General" Bobi Wine wrote on his wall.

Barbie did not attend the service in Kamwokya yesterday, it's left to be seen if she will come out in public at Gomba where the late will be buried, most Firebase Crew fans are looking forward to Barbie's baby bump, so some have gone to pay their respects but also to look out for those small details among others.

On Valentine's day, Bobi Wine will be performing at One Love Beach in what they've termed as the Valentine's special show. Madoxx, Geoffrey Lutaaya, King Saha, Irene Ntale, Mary Bata and David Lutalo are among the other artistes who will perform alongside the Ghetto president.

Safina Mubiru, Barbie and Bobi Wine

A week back, social networks were awash with information of Bobi Wine's DNA results that revealed that his UK based son was not his biological child.

Bobi came out to say that much as he was not disputing anything, that was not the way he presents his issues. However, he has now come out to clear the space and confirms that, it's true, the DNA test was done and the findings were not any different from what you already know.

"Yes, I took the child for a DNA test, and yes the DNA results proved beyond reasonable doubt that I'm not his biological father, and yes, I called his mother and he did not deny anything. She came clean, told me everything and she apologized to me, and that is the end of the story."

"As for 'my son' Simon, me and him know that we have been father and son for all his life now and we shall forever be father and son. A strong bond was created between us and not even DNA can challenge my relationship with him. He loves me and I love him very much. I had to put up with a lot to be his father and I can still put up with more to stay close to my little soldier."

"I will continue to take full responsibility of him, but him alone and being the father figure that he has always known. He is my child, all his brothers, sisters, aunties, uncles, every body loves him, nothing will change."

"I will only request Safina to apologise to all parties involved for telling a lie and maintaining for so long that it caused so much pain, embarrassment and confusion. After that, let's wish each other a happy year."

Barbie is still tight-lipped on the matter while Safina has now deleted her facebook profile.

Bobi Wine says some issues are not worth presenting
Inset is Safina Mubiru, who is yet to comment on the latest developments..

Simon Kyagulanyi is not my son.... Say's Bobi Wine.

"This is my whole story and I have evidence on everything. 7 years ago I met a one gal in London called Safina. By then I was not married and I made a mistake of my life. It was once and the next week this gal claimed that she was pregnant. Ng'omusajja omuganda I was happy to have a new member of the family. I have been taking responsibilities as a father and no one was complaining."

"This Christmas season, I invited Simon as my son to spend the festival with his fellow brothers and sisters. As soon as the boy landed in UG from UK, I said no, I have to do it this time,  so I secretly without any other persons knowledge took him for a DNA test coz for so long I have been suspecting this."

"Ashburg to my surprise or let me call it shock relief, the results are back and guess what? SIMON KYAGULANYI is not my son. Not even Barbie or Saphina knows this. I have decided to make u a star by giving u this info first and any question about this u will be the first to get the answer."

Proof of DNA test results and other concrete evidence will be out. I'm so sorry for my boy Simon but your mum is responsible. I'm sorry Barbie that you had to go through such pain, I'm sorry my family and fans. Shadrak, Shalom & Solomon are my only 3 biological kids as of 20th/01/2015."

That was a post made by Bobi Wine's right hand man, Kato, but after a few minutes, Bobi Wine made this post;

"It has never been my style putting my personal/family matters in the media and it's not going to start now, those (above) are words of Ashburg Kato AND NOT MY WORDS! I believe NOT EVERYTHING IS FOR MEDIA ATTENTION, especially where there are young innocent souls involved."

AGAIN, Bobi made this post, not denying what Kato had written and also not blaming what Kato had written either.

"Am not dashing fire at Kato, all am saying is, that is not my press release, it might have some facts in it but that's not how I present my self and my issues, some issues are actually not worth presenting."

Verified facebook accounts in Uganda

It's one thing to have a facebook profile and another to have it verified.

The list of verified facebook accounts in Uganda is increasing by the day with the very latest being Desire Luzinda. President Museveni, Capital FM's Flavia Tumusiime, artiste Angella Katatumba and actress Mariam Ndagire are the others whose accounts are verified. Maurice Kirya prominently features on the verified list as the only male artist.

Any dealings with a verified account means that you are dealing directly with that person or someone authorized to operate that account. Comedienne Anne Kansiime is a 'Ninja' just like her tag line. She is Uganda's most liked person on Facbook with over 500,000 followers/likes.

Maurice Kirya's facebook profile verified too

Angella Katatumba closely follows with about 350k followers. We also have facebook profiles that are yet to be verified and these include; Bebe Cool (278, 765 likes), Chameleone (192,071likes), Juliana (209,174 likes) and Bobi Wine with 73,552 likes.

A verified account will save your fans from being fleeced. Days before Desire Luzinda's account was verified, her fans lost money after responding to calls from fake ''Desire Luzinda'' accounts that the singer was soliciting for money she will use for the photo scandal court case. She was forced to report the matter to police.

Bobi Wine in prayer and inset is Bobi at One Love Beach getting ready

This Saturday, all roads will lead to One Love Beach for Bobi Wine's Busabaala Fest, otherwise dubbed 'Manya Size Yoo Concert'.

"Everything is in place, we are putting up the stage, the mood is getting hotter. I am ready for Busabala Fest, Are You," Bobi asked his fans yesterday.

This afternoon, his wife, Barbie Itungo shared a pic of Bobi meditating with this caption "This Meditation***..This prayer...Your guess is as good as mine. And everybody says...AMEN." Most responses to the prayer were tagged to rain and also avoiding a flop.

Meanwhile, he was on one local TV last night looking so calm and sober. He revealed quite a lot. He told of how he attended over six schools in his primary and attended over six schools in secondary. Bebe Cool is his OB, they met at Kitante (for a short time though) and at the time, they were staying in the same area. Bebe was in the affluent area while Bobi was in Ghetto area of Kamwokya.

The show host went on to ask him if there's a chance that him and Bebe will have a collaboration song any time soon, Bobi Wine was like ; 'What shall we be singing about?' I sing about developmental issues, he concluded.

Bobi Wine also revealed that he has no issues with Bebe Cool, it's the public that thinks otherwise. Most artistes that he has collaborated with and those signed to the Fire Base Crew will perform on that day. Songs like Size Yo, Byekwasao, Dilemma, and Matyansi Butyampa which Bebe Cool did at the carnival will be performed.

Bebe Cool doing Bobi Wine's Matyansi Butyampa

Last Sunday was a bit busy. It was the annual KCCA - Kampala Festival and Big Brother Africa was also launching that night. Most roads leading to the city centre around Kampala road and Jinja road had been blocked to pave way for the festivities that stretched through the wee hours of Monday morning.

Several artistes performed but the highlight of the event was when Bebe Cool did Bobi Wine's 'Matyansi Butyampa', word by word (http://youtu.be/Qlcte_KmeOU), something that was welcomed by most Bobi Wine fans though some were quick to label him names.

Hours later, the Byekwaso singer, Bobi Wine through his facebook profile came out to say that when a former hater turns into a fan and he is not shy to show it, it's only mature to take it easy.

Below is Bobi Wine's full post;

"Now this goes to the Fire Base Army and all Bobi Wine Fans. I have seen a lot of soldiers so pissed and ranting on social media just because Baby Cool performed our songs in the carnival. NOW am saying to you soldiers, you don't have to get annoyed, it's OK for so one to be your fan."

"You have seen Shaggy come on stage and perform Bob Marley or Shabba Ranks songs first and then his. In music this is called RESPECT !! it doesn't mean he does not have his own songs, it's just that some times an artist needs to open their acts with more popular songs to work up the crowd and get him/her self accepted."

He then concluded;  "So brothers and sisters... When a former hater turns into a fan and he is not shy to publicly show it, it's only mature to take it easy."

Jamaican dance-hall singer, Dorothy Smith aka Patra has a collabo with our very own Bobi Wine. The video for the 'Bad Mind' song is done and will be hitting the screens any time from now. The farewell party for Patra (41) who jetted into the country for the Club Mega Fest was held last Sunday.

Bobi Wine already has three collaboration songs with Mr. G from Jamaica. "As the Ghetto President, it's mandatory for me to host and entertain all special guests from the Ghetto Republics all over the world," Bobi noted while inviting fans for the Patra farewell party at Club Ambiance.

While releasing shots for the Bad Mind video, the Byekwaso singer had this to say; "This is what the world has been waiting for, The Ghetto President and the Queen of the Park, #Patra."

Trust the Bad Man from Kamwokya, he applied make up on The Romantic Call singer before the video shoot and she seemed to enjoy every moment.

Bobi Wine addressing guests who had turned up for the tombs fundraising

The Ghetto gladiator, Bobi Wine, was yesterday hosting the Buganda premier at his Busabala based One Love Beach. Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga was in areas of Makindye division for the tombs fundraising drive commonly known as Etofaali.

He also toured some establishments and met children from local primary schools. The hosts, Bobi Wine and his wife, Barbie together with their children were all dressed in a regalia befitting the occasion.

It's been a busy week for Bobi. As you may all be aware, Hon Ruhakana Rugunda replaced Hon. Amama Mbabazi as Prime Minister prompting words like;

"When I sang  in 2008, Rt. Hon. Amama Mbabazi loved the song and tended to use it so much in his public speeches, I felt honored. However, Hon. Should have listened to this line in Akalimu ....Totunula mu sowani ya boss wo."

This was followed by several bashing messages. The Time Bomb singer bounced back with another post. "Okay, let me put this straight, I did not blast the former Prime Minister, I have so much respect for my leaders and I would never utter any statement to demean them whatsoever, and in this case, I was just relating some prophesies in my songs to current events."

However, as he was trying to get to terms with this, Bebe Cool was equally faced with fire from South Sudan for a comment he made, it rubbed a section of fans the wrong way.

Bobi Wine used the moment to shift attention from his Amama-talk to the Bebe SS-Saga. He went on to give Bebe Cool just a week to apologize to the South Sudan fans.

I got terribly shocked, peed on my self and cried like an idiot on Sunday evening when people so close to me evaded my home in my absence, converged there, ate muchomo and drunk beer as I was hustling in busabala. Bobi is such a Snake."

"He hatched a plan that's made me wonder what kind of man i married. Never in my entire life did I think that anyone would succeed at surprising me! Thanks for the surprise party my love."

The One Love CEO concluded; "To everyone that took time to wish me a happy birthday,Just know it was the best Ever! Thank you for the best wishes and great thanks to family and friends who honored the invite."

Katto Lubwama spitting fire at the live show
Comedian Kato Lubwama while appearing on the Dembe FM's Saturday show, Talk and Talk, wondered how Bobi Wine is able to make it and yet he is not a good musician. Bobi Wine and Kato Lubwama were the guests for the day while the rest of the panelists (Jenkins Mukasa, Batt Badru, Eddy Sendi and Kasuku) were the usual team that always deliberate on issues affecting the Uganda music industry.

This time around, the show was live at Bat Valley. "Uganda loves those who have come and done something and off they go, not those who are busy explaining why they have failed to do certain things..." Bobi who came in a bit late Said. He added that what had been discussed earlier was rubbish.

Bobi went on to explain that we came to this world to change it into a better place, before being interrupted by Eddy Sendi, a top music critic; "We cannot change nature!"

"This forum is for the betterment of music, and I will prefer to stick to issues that are developmental other than Katto Lubwama belittling me."

This was when Katto came out of his shell;

"No no no no I know a good artist and a pretender, now if we are talking about artists who inspire others musically and not economically, you are not among them, and here Iam telling you the truth and all you say is that I'm belittling you."

The show was forced to be switched off as Kato had now started exchanging bitter words with Bobi Wine's fans who were equally telling him off.

I'm the best in my family and yet I had the worst voice, but today, I'm even more popular than Kato Lubwama's best, Eddie Yawe. Matters were made worse when Kato Lubwama said that even Nubian Lee, was better than Bobi Wine, this resulted in more bitter exchanges, mostly from the audience. Kato ended up using words like Nyoxx, forcing the show to go off air.

Poor attendance at Every One Charity Concert

Last Friday, was the 'Every One Charity Concert' at Hotel Africana with over 10 artistes slated to perform. Bobi Wine, Moze Radio, Weasel and Peter Miles were some of the artistes who performed to empty chairs.

Many learnt of this concert during the press conference, which was held just a day before the D-day.

Entrance fee was 20K for the general happiness, 50K VIP and 1.5m for platinum, but there were just a handful of revellers.

Chameleone was supposed to perform but he snubbed the show. He was at Freedom City on Entebbe road, where the crowd was getting physically fit with sounds of Big Eye in his very first concert which was massively attended.

Helen Lukoma and Bobi Wine in the Situka movie

Former HB Toxic member, Helen Lukoma and the Ghetto gladiator, Bobi Wine are doing final touches to a new movie titled Situka.

The 90-minute-movie is about the ghetto youth being involved in activities around their communities as Bobi Wine explains;

"I have made my mark on the music industry, it's time for me to make my mark on the movie industry too. In this feature film, we are trying to encourage the ghetto youth to be proactive and be involved in the daily governance and decision making of their communities."

"You're not too young to take charge and be the instrument of change. You want change, be the change, period! It's running 90mins, it's called Situka and it's coming soon."

The film is a must watch at least based on the trailer and the shots from the movie.

Meanwhile, Helen has resorted to local herbs commonly known as 'Omulondo to boost her prowess. It's nine months since Helen celebrated her birthday and her demands were clear on that night, "Best party ever, am grown I need a baby lol," were her words, now with Omulondo in place, the House of Lukoma owner's tummy might gain some weight in weeks to come.

Bobi Wine's customized Tundra

Three months back, Bobi Wine was in a car ownership dispute with Uganda Red Cross Society, but looks like all that is behind him looking at the way the Size Yo singer has customized it. He has even advised Bebe Cool to emulate him and buy a Tundra after the Hummer H2 developed mechanical problems.

The black 4WD truck, customized with Fire Base themes is now a moving billboard for his 18 Oct concert, dubbed the Busabaala Festival. The Tundra is also advertising the visit of the Buganda Premier, Charles Peter Mayiga who will be receiving contributions better known as #Etofaali from the Ghetto youth at One Love Beach on July 23, 2014.

Come and learn something from my show, Bebe Cool tells Chameleone and Bobi Wine

Bebe Cool has once again brought back the Neighbour (A,B) 'wars'. Two years back, these wars were about cribs, boats and lyrical attacks, but now, Serena Hotel has turned out to be the battle ground. It should be noted at this point that Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) banned all outdoor concerts making Serena Hotel a preferred venue for concerts.

Since April, Bebe Cool has been preparing for his Best of Bebe Cool (BBC) concert that will be held next month at Serena Hotel, Kampala. During his Unplugged show at Club Silk recently, Jose Chameleone revealed that he will be having a show on December 19, 2014 and the charge per head will be shs 1M/-, a price that has set tongues wagging, but Chameleone says it's not a show for those who cannot afford.

Bebe Cool has now invited 'A'-Chameleone and 'B'-Bobi Wine to his concert as there is quite a lot for them to learn when it comes to stage performances and singing. In his post, Bebe Cool says:

"My neighbor A n B, it is at this point that I warn you that u should book your tables now for the 8th AUG BBC-888 coz the way things r going, it would be unfair if I don't warn u that the tables r getting finished yet on that day, there is a lot for u to learn when it comes to singing/performing and am opening a new page/chapter. I know one of the two is not SERENA material but it's good for u to learn from the BEST."

The 'Wale Wale' singer and the One Love Beach proprietor are yet to respond to Neighbour 'C'. Watch this space!

Bobi Wine strikes a pose on the black Tundra

Bobi Wine is currently in a dispute over the ownership of a 4WD truck, a Toyota Tundra, with Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS). The car was part of the suspected smuggled goods that police and URA officials found at the home of the then URCS, secretary General, Richard Nataka.

According to officials who had access to the Tundra's bill of lading, they confirm that URCS is the importer, so the car belongs to Red Cross and it was bought using their money. However, the car was on Wednesday released to Bobi Wine something that has left URCS officials disturbed.

The 'Kiwaani' singer, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, also, says the car is his.''I was working with Red Cross for seven years as their goodwill ambassador. I imported that car using my money and since I was working with them, I asked for a lift in their container. I paid shs 53 million in taxes for that car."

Bobi Wine adds that Red Cross owes him money to the tune Shs 43m, a claim the current Secretary General, Ken Odur trashes.

Bobi Wine Penning one for the haters

Bobi Wine is yet to release his next single which he has dedicated to the 'haters' and in his words he says, they had better be real scared.

"Am writing this one in a red pen, so haters, better be scared, real scared! Anti bogera nnyo." The best thing for an artist is to see people singing along to his/her song, we hope this won't be another Luganda Patois of 'DeMaKaKana Wen Dema See Mi'.

His wife, Barbara Ituungo-Kyagulanyi, better known as Barbie got a chance of listening to him this morning, and she says, it's an anthem.

"Woke up to a loud rehearsal of sorts in our compound; My husband's voice competing with the sweet morning melodies from the birds. According to what I heard, Bobi Wine fans are in for another anthem..Good morning friends, mine started earlier than I thought."

Insiders say, the 'Siri Size Yo' song could be directly hitting at Bebe Cool. In one of the lines, Bobi says the butt bouy needs to shave his beard. They add that, this one is even worse than By Far and Mr Kataala combined.

Cindy, Bobi Wine join Douglas to premiere their video
Bobi Wine is back after a one week's holiday in Amsterdam.

First things first. This evening, Bobi Wine and Cindy were appearing on NTV during The Beat program with Douglas Lwanga, the show host to premiere their 'Dilemma' video which they did with Jamaica's Mr. G. 'Dilemma' was among the tracks that Mr. G did when he stayed around town following the massive 'Akalimu' Charity concert.

In the 'Dilemma' video, Cindy is torn between two guys; the uptown boy (Mr. G) and the Ghetto buoy (Bobi Wine), she doesn't know who to give her fruit. In the video, Cindy is on a big bed with white sheets armed with two pillows (Mr. G and Bobi Wine) letting you know of how she is failing to make a choice between the ghetto youth and the uptown guy.

"I'm in a dilemma but don know the truth..I like two guys and tour them cute, one uptown one is ghetto youth, mi wonder which one I go give this fruit..." is a line off the track.

Bobi Wine says that of the top female artistes, he could have worked with Iryn or Juliana, but then again, he opted for Cindy who in the end delivered.

As the song comes to the end, Cindy does the dilemma bit as Mr. G does his thing till it fades.

Bobi Wine is number one in Google's top searched people for Uganda in 2013

Google Trends has released it's year end Zeitgeist report for Uganda with Bobi Wine ranking number one under the 'Most Searched People' for the year 2013.

Using his facebook profile, Bobi Wine who could not hide his excitement wrote: "So according to Google, I'm the most searched celebrity in Uganda, I'm honored." Chris Brown and Rihanna followed in that order and the 'Ndisa Butti' star, Bebe Cool was fourth. The top ten list did not have any more Ugandans.

Kim Kardashian, Messi, Obama, Konshens, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj are the other top names in the 'Most Searched People' list. In the just released lists, Google Trends also featured the top institutions with Makerere University at the top followed by Uganda Revenue Authority.

Then came the list of 'Most Searched News Sites' with New Vision at the top followed by Daily Monitor and Bukedde. Red Pepper and Weekly Observer were also among the top ten.

Ugandans were also interested in knowing about Love, development and the Internet but when it came to Health, not even AIDS was number one as Stress took the number one position followed by Health in general, Ovulation, bloating and then AIDS.

Schizophrenia, a disease that the 'fake' interpreter at the Mandela funeral claimed to be suffering from came in at number ten.

Short of that, other top searches in the year were more to do with English football, death or unique situations. Among the dead are Eriya Kategaya, James Mulwana, Stephen Malinga and UBC's news anchor, Susan Namasaba.

Lugogo Cricket Oval was filled to the brim during the Akalimu Concert

Jose Chameleone, Gravity Omutujju, Eddie Kenzo plus other Fire Base Crew members were part of the artistes that entertained revellers before the Ghetto gladiator stormed the stage at about 11:00pm.

Bobi performed non stop for two hours and at exactly 1:00am, Mr. G hit the stage doing his 'Swaggerific' song that sent the crowd wild, screaming and dancing to his tunes.

Clad in black leather jacket and a matching trouser, Bobi Wine came back on stage joining Mr. G to do some of their songs that included 'Clean and Out' and 'High Grade' among others.

The show ended at 2:00pm with most revellers saying that it was a night never to be forgotten.

Bobi Wine's wife who had earlier disgareed with the idea of a free concert was forced to reverse her words:

"It was not until Red Cross trailers full of donations drove out of Lugogo Cricket Oval that I stamped and sealed the Akalimu Album Charity launch a success. Nothing beats joined forces. You did it! You raised donations worth billions of shillings. Am speechless. Love that spirit dear Ugandans and Salute to the brains and big heart behind Friday's show. H.E Bobi Wine am humbled, I've learnt my lesson well, I won't argue with you again."

Bebe Cool Facebook Party at Club Amnesia
"Thanks to u all who attended the fans Facebook party at Club Amnesia, it was massiiiiiiivvvvveeeee nyoooooo, am so proud of GAGAMEL fans thanks a bunch. Now let's prepare for the 6th of Dec, 'The Battle of Champions', Have a good weekend." That was Bebe Cool's message after a fully packed fans party yesterday.

The free party was a celebration of the Gagamel page reaching the 100,000 fan mark. This called for a mega celebration and that was the business at Club Amnesia last night. Unfortunately, the venue was too small to accommodate large groups. Bebe Cool fans were clad in 100% Bebe Cool regalia as they danced to his tunes from the 'Bafudde' days to 'Coccidiosis'.

To commemorate this day, Bebe Cool's wife, Zuena Kirema also the NTV Life Stories host made some finger lickin cakes which the fans enjoyed. Most of these fans, had to honour Bebe Cool's invitation because they are so loyal to the point that when BEBE makes a post, they hang on to the page for up to three hours just to see comments that come up.

The facebook page made the 100,000 fan mark on (Sep 24) but the celebration was yesteday, the very day Bobi Wine was holding his Akalimu-Charity concert featuring Mr. G, however, it was equally flooded with revellers now that it was free provided one came with something to donate to the Bududa Landslides and Kasese Flood Victims.

Meanwhile, Bebe Cool has added his voice to clear the space on rumours that were doing rounds about the Battle of Champions being cancelled.

"To our fans who are ready for the Battle, I wish to reassure you that the Battle of Champions between me and the Goodlyfe is still on. There is a letter that was forged by the organisers of 'Buzzy' Signal saying that police has cancelled the Battle for security reasons but having spoken to the top bosses, Kayihura and Kawesi, they have no idea about it."

Just get ready for the Battle because Police cannot cancel a local show over an artist from abroad.

Jose Chameleone to perform at the Akalimu Concert

You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours - Bobi Wine attended Chameleone's Badilisha concert and now Chameleone is paying him in the same currency.

"In a brief meeting with comrades today, the discussion was love amongst ourselves as people sent down by God to entertain. After such inspirational vibe, Iam honored to be invited by Bobi Wine and Mr. G for this anticipated 'Akalimu/Clean and Out' concert, Together we stand and Divided we fall. let's all be there to celebrate music."

Bobi Wine's 'Akalimu Charity Concert' is slated for this Friday at Lugogo Cricket Oval and Mr. G aka Swaggerific is already in town. Standing through the Ghetto Escalade sunroof, Bobi and Mr. G were this morning touring parts of down town Kampala before heading to Serena Hotel where he will be staying during his visit.

Mr. G's Meet and Greet party is on right now at Club Rouge.

Bobi Wine's Akalimu concert is one of a kind

The 'Akalimu' concert is the first of it's kind and a unique opportunity for music lovers who could otherwise be left out for not having money to part with for the show. It's the first concert that a Ugandan artiste has put up and not having to charge a penny as entry fees.

In most cases, it has always been that part of the proceeds go to charity but on this particular concert, one is required to come with clothes, sugar, soap or food that will be donated to the affected communities. "People lost lives, property and their livelihood. It is now time to remember our own people and do something they will never forget." Bobi Wine said in a statement.

The Bududa landslides and the Kasese floods among others were the driving force behind this bold move. Bobi Wine's wife, Barbie rallied behind him through this message: "We give what we can and you too can do the same. Sacrifice something and give a hand. Agali awamu gegaluma enyama!" meaning; together we can!

However, much as the show is free, this does not give the revellers access to the platinum and VIP section as they will be strictly on invite only basis. One top Fire Base Crew female fan who recently got a 'Firebase' tattoo will certainly win herself a platinum and also get a special mention as a top fan.

It's important to note that Chameleone and Bebe Cool held their 'Badilisha' and 'Kokodiosis' concerts which were both successful but Akalimu will be one show and it will be FREE!

Bobi Wine at a recent function

As Chameleone and Bebe Cool were busy sorting themselves on whose house is incomplete and who is staying at their in-laws, Bobi Wine was deep in rehearsals for The Ebonies latest play, 'Ensabattula' that will be showing in London (Manor Park Royal Regency Hall) on Sept 28, 2013 and on October 5, 2013, at Dhow Palace Hotel in Dubai.

Bobi Wine has also been coordinating a series of activities that range from preparing for the forthcoming KCCA Carnival following his endorsement as the Kampala Capital City Carnival Celebrity. On the same day, he carried out the Ghetto voice search and later in the day,he joined his wife to watch their Ghetto Reality show on Bukedde TV. A drink-up with his fans followed at Plat4fm Club in Kamwokya.

The Ghetto gladiator then wrapped up the day with the announcement of the 'Akalimu' Concert using Bebe Cool's line; 'Elyaato Lyakabenje' that is aimed at Bobi Wine with his yacht. This announcement was timely as it was meant to try and divert attention from Bebe Cool and Chameleone wars that had taken over the social network sites by storm but it was not easy.

"..... Kale no'lwensonga eyo, buli ategede ategeeze munne, nti Nannyini LYAATO ELYAKABENJE ategese LAUNCH EYAKABENJE nga 8 e KYADONDO. Ebisingako awo, mubilinde ku CNN," Bobi Wine noted on his wall about the forthcoming concert.

The 'Akalimu' singer has now asked the Fire Base Crew fans to mark their calendars for the Clean and Out Akalimu Concert that will be held on November 8, 2013 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. Mr. G, Version from Jamaica and Zambia's Mampi will perform on that day.

Yesterday was Bobi Wine and Barbie's 2nd wedding anniversary but the 'Akalimu' singer was not in the country as he was busy performing at the Reggae Splash World Music Fest in New York. By 7am this morning, he was landing at Entebbe Airport which was exactly five hours to his next flight to Johannesburg.

Barbie and the kids were at the airport to receive him but given the distance to their home in Magere and the traffic, they decided to settle at Spennah Beach in Entebbe which is a stone throw away from Entebbe International Airport to beat the check-in deadline.

While at Spennah Beach, Bobi Wine was spotted carrying Barbie on his back as the kids who were at the time feasting on chips and fish cheered them on in the background. This was a belated wedding anniversary celebration which Bobi summarized as short but sweet. "It's been so brief but sweet," Bobi noted on his wall.

Meanwhile, Princess Ruth Komuntale's husband, Christopher Thomas was among those who congratulated the couple on their 2nd wedding anniversary.

Tonight, Bobi Wine will be joining his team that had traveled earlier to prepare for his performances at Luli Luli Hotel in South Africa.

Bobi and Barbie on their wedding day in 2011
On Aug. 27, Barbie Itungo's husband, Bobi Wine who is done with the Reggae Splash World Music Fest in New York and is making his way to Kampala to be with his wife for a few hours on Wednesday(Aug 28) morning before heading to South Africa used facebook to celebrate his 2nd anniversary.

"On this date of every year, a beautiful feeling engulfs me, I feel like it's just the two of us on this planet. When I first met you, I did not imagine you could ever be mine...Now we are twelve years into a beautiful and fruitful relationship that has over powered all challenges and prevailed."

He continued, "Today I'm celebrating 2 years with gold on my finger. Thanks for trusting me with your precious hand in marriage....Happy Anniversary my best friend." Bobi Wine's message came in nine hours after his wife, Barbie (Of course given the activity at the reggae festival and the time difference).

Barbie Wine had earlier posted this saying Bobi Wine was her's from the time he knew him.

"Two years ago, my dream came true. I had waited 10yrs to say those magical words "I do". You kept your word, you gave me a Royal wedding. The world stood still, All televisions in the nation broadcasted live, All press was in one spot! At our Wedding. Like a Princess, I walked through a Magnitude of people and together, We celebrated Love before EVERYONE. Am lucky I married you."

Barbie who is about to be done with a tell-all book about Bobi Wine concluded: "You were my choice from the time I knew you well and you still are my only choice. My love for you grows each day and like I always say,You are my best friend and nothing can come in between us. We have seen it all I guess. Happy Anniversary Bobi Wine. And I love you! Guilty as Charged."

The couple tied the knot at Rubaga Cathedral in August 2011 after a 10-year courtship. The Queen of Buganda and Jose Chameleone were among the celebrities in attendance.

Bebe Cool speaks out on the Bobi-Mr. G saga
No amount of intimidation is going to move Bebe Cool between now and 6,7,8 September, 2013. This morning, we told of a facebook post from the Gagamel circles saying that; Bobi Wine had bought his way to collaborate with the Jamaican Swaggerific singer, Mr. G aka Goofy. In the statement, it was also noted that this move had been orchestrated by the fact that Bobi Wine has no hit song at the moment.

Mr. G is torn between Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool as they are both close to him; for Bobi, It's through the 'Clean and Out' collaboration and for Bebe Cool, If you recall his concert in 2011 when he was supposed to bring in Chaka Demus and the Pliers, then at the very last minute, Chaka Demus failed to make it due to fatigue, he was replaced by Mr. G.

Judging from his response, Bebe Cool is not intimidatable at this point. In fact, he says that Mr. G is a personal good friend of his and all seems well, though he knows who is behind all this.

"Hi ma fans, I know there were a few issues concerning Mr. G and I see what is happening, but please don't attack him because you all know who is using him. Anyway, all is good and the launch is in high gear, just get ready for the 6,7,8 September, The real Kokodiosis album launch Ting Dis, " Bebe Cool noted on his wall as he cleared the space.

However, some of the Gagamel members insist, Bobi Wine should be thankful to Bebe Cool for having brought in Mr. G to perform at his show two years back, and now, Bobi Wine has a collabo with him.

Mr. G speaks out on allegations that Bobi Wine bought him to do the Clean and Out collabo.

Mr.G aka Goofy has called for calm in the wake of Bobi Wine paying him to do the Clean and Out collaboration.
It all started with this post ALLEGEDLY from Bebe Cool: "Bobi Wine is buying out international artistes to do collabos with him; because he currently has no top hits to sell him."

This got to Bobi Wine who did not waste any time in telling the Kokodiosis singer off: "The bad mind is making you age so fast." Bad news travels like wildfire, so somehow, Mr. G got wind of this and very quickly intervened to rescue the situation. Mr. Swaggerific said that all talk that he was paid to do the 'Clean and Out' collaboration hit was hogwash.

"People of Uganda this is Mr. G aka Goofy, let me clear the air this bull about Bobi Wine paying me money to record with me is nothing but crap, why is it when one of our brothers tries to move to the next level there is nothing but hatred coming from his fellow artiste and the supporters of that artiste.

Jamaica's Mr. G concluded: "It is very sad in my eyes to see this going on, My African brothers and sisters lets join together to make this unity amongst the two countries a success everywhere in the world, the song has already started hitting in Jamaica, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, let us be our brothers keeper, One Love until we meet again," Mr. G.

The said post does not appear on Bebe Cool's wall and for some reason, he has not come out to clear the space. However, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Zuena stood by Bebe Cool through this post: "Some things just leave me laughing, Mbu, Bebe Cool said this and that about so and so...These fb pages are trying to sell by writing ill about my hubby, but they won't manage because at the end of it all, God is in control." Watch this space!

Golden Memories of a Village Belle
Bobi Wine's wife has been tasked to write a book about Bobi Wine and it will be her second book after Golden Memories of a Village Belle. The book will be out next year.

"He lives his life in the limelight and most of you think you know him. Well, none of you knows half of who he is and what has transpired in his 30plus years spent on Earth. I have been tasked to Author his Biography and am so honored to present to you Bobi Wine through my eyes come 2014. Another big book coming soon to your shelves dear readers, " Barbie noted on her wall.

The first book was about Barbie and her memories as she was growing up coupled with the noise the frogs in Magere could make while it rained, but the next one will be about Bobi Wine and what has transpired in his 31 years. Of course it will feature Bobi's experience in Jamaica while he shot the Clean and Out video, The Ghetto Reality TV Show and of course the 'spare tyre' in the UK who is demanding for a baby girl.

The book will definitely have great love scenes though Barbie will deliver scenes that are comfortable reading and writing. During the time of releasing her first book, she promised her readers that more books were in the pipeline, so there you go.

Ghetto President Reality TV Show
The latest trend in showbiz is reality TV and our only wish is that; If only it could remain real.

Fresh from Jamaica after his 'Clean and Out' video shoot which has since been released, Bobi Wine has now embarked on his other project, which is an improved version of the Omubanda Wa Kabaka TV show now dubbed; Ghetto President reality TV show.

Producers for the show are knocking on your door. A message on the official facebook page said: "Ghetto youths from all over Kampala, come register and join to audition for the first ever position of a "GHETTO SUPERSTAR". The GS should be musically talented.

Zari's The Boss Lady reality show was long stopped on UBC and Omubanda Wa Kabaka is now rebranding to the Ghetto President. The show will be aired on Bukedde TV starting September 03, 2013 at 8:00pm.

Fans will keep it locked to the show to see how reality works out for the Kyagulanyi's.

Bobi Wine and Uganda's Vice President Edward Sekandi

Trust the Ghetto president, he was on the same flight with Uganda's Vice President Edward Kiwanuka Sekandi and as expected, he could not miss a photo moment with Uganda's second-in-command compensating for the losses he suffered during the independence day celebrations last year when he was stopped from accessing the Presidential Pavilion.

A week back, while launching Clean and Out to the Jamaican music lovers, Mr. G tweeted thus: "Check out my new single Clean & Out remixed by Bobi Wine, one of Africa's biggest artistes." This is likely to earn Bobi more collaborations because based on his earlier post before heading to Jamaica, he had this to say:

"When I set out to be a music man in 1996 as a little boy, me and only my fellow dance-hall artistes drew our inspiration from Jamican artistes Goofy (Mr.G), Red Rat, Buju, Beenie and of course Bounty Killer and many more, Jamaica has always been the capital of dancehall music."

Going to Jamaica had always been his dream but all this is now behind him as he is only a few hours to meeting the stars he had only dreamt about. The ghetto gladiator could not hide his excitement:

"I'm honoured to work with one of the most talented dance-hall artistes alive, I'm very much honoured to represent Uganda and Africa...hmmm, some dreams can actually come true...Jamaica, here I come," he concluded.

Bobi has traveled at the time when the Goodlyfe Crew (Moze Radio and Weasel) are still in the US where they have already done a collabo with the African Act BET winner, Ice Prince plus on going negotiations to being signed to big record labels. The music doctor has also just come back from CONGO, the land of Lingala, where he left them yearning for more of the Badilisha style.

Mr.G and Bobi Wine featured on Stampede Street Charts

Bobi Wine is making headlines in Jamaica courtesy of his latest collaboration with dance-hall star, Mr. G formerly Goofy.

A few days back, 'Clean n Out', a collaboration by Bobi and Mr.G  was released in audio and since then, the track has been receiving massive airplay on all radio stations. In the song, Bobi Wine is heard doing his Luganda Patois. He will soon be going to Jamaica to shoot a video for the same.

Bobi Wine now features on Jamaican entertainment blogs and among them is the number one Jamaican street chart, the Stampede which is having 'Clean n Out' as the Hot Combination of the Week starting July 22, 2013.

"When Jah tells us to fly, we don't fly like a plane, we fly like a rocket, Bobi noted as he communicated the news before thanking his fans for the support.

Stampede Street highlights the TOP fifteen Reggae songs and the TOP fifteen dance-hall songs of the week. Other artistes listed this week include: Hot New Riddim for the week goes to Brimstone Riddim, Alva is the hot new artiste on the rise.
Iba Mahr has maintained the number one Reggae spot while Macka Diamond is the dance-hall star for this week.

Bobi Wine and Ragga Dee at One Love Beach

In this Photo: Ragga Dee, and Bobi Wine

Yesterday, the GRANDPA of Ugandan music Ragga Dee real name Daniel Kazibwe paid a courtesy visit to the Ghetto president Bobi Wine at his One Love Beach in Busabala. The two music weights first enjoyed fish and chips plus their favourite drinks before embarking on the cruise.

Bobi Wine was cruising his costly yacht while Ragga Dee was in a black boat. Trust Bobi Wine, after taking a little too much, he could not go in the water without a life jacket. Ragga Dee later gave up on his boat to join Bobi Wine to get a feel of the Omubanda Wa Kabaka yacht.

In one of Bebe Cool's latest songs, one has a line that goes: 'Olina Amatto agebeeyi, ebyo biyamba gwe, Tomalira Budde' translated as: Your having costly boats does not help me in anyway, so don't waste my time. It would not be surprising if that particular line was aimed at Bobi Wine, like it has been in the past.

Ugandan artistes in general and these two in particular have been outing songs aimed at each other. However, the recent nomination of the Goodlyfe Crew in the 2013 BET Awards is likely to change this, because if you have to feature in those awards, certain things must change.

Bobi Wine's Kids and Chameleone's

Jose Chameleone is a dad again - for the fifth time. His wife gave birth to baby boy Amma yesterday. Chameleone and Daniella now have three sons and one girl, Ayla who turns two in February.

Chameleone also has one daughter, Ayla from his previous relationship with Dorotia. He's not the only one with several children, his young brother Weasel is rumoured to have over a dozen kids.

The Ghetto president, Bobi Wine has been demanding for a fourth child from his wife Barbie but looks like this won't happen any time soon. Bobi Wine has three with Barbie and another child with his ex, Safina Mubiru based in the UK.

While congratulating Chameleone on his new bundle of joy, he wrapped up his message by telling his wife Barbie that she was next. In fact that night, he went with chocolate back home to try and convince Barbie to change her mind.

"Wow, uncle Bobi is the first to know about the arrival of baby Amma Christian Mayanja...Congratulations Chameleone, as for you Barbie, the writing is on the wall, I'm coming home," Bobi wrote on his wall.

Meanwhile, Barbie has been under pressure from friends, relatives and fans to have another baby following their wedding in 2011, but she won't succumb to their demands and has instead taken on to a different plan as summarized in her Tuesday post;

"I so love to have more children but I choose to instead join the rest of the country and concerned Organizations to try and make a difference by educating fellow women on how to play their part in preserving their lives and their children when pregnant."

Moze Radio, Weasel and Bobi Wine
"Radio and Weasel, Uganda is so proud of you..you did something that any of us would have loved to do for our country and even though the Media gave the glory of your nomination a conspiracy of silence as if they would rather see the glory go elsewhere other than their own home, you did it.

They may not like you, but be sure they feel you...You made history, you have played your part..you certainly deserve a Heroes welcome, you deserve a tax holiday from the government and most of all, you deserve respect......I will slaughter a pig for you when you come back".

That was Bobi Wine's latest post on the Goodlyfe Crew who are still in the US after attending the BET Awards ceremony that was held at Nokia Theatre in L.A last Sunday. However, Bobi's remarks have left many fans disturbed by the way he chose to celebrate the first Ugandans to grace the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.

Moze Radio who is still excited about being the first Ugandans to be nominated had this to say: "fellow dreamers don't stop dreaming...dreams can surely come true...we are just one leap away... let's gooooooooo."

Many fans who had hoped to be part of this celebration have now been turned down by the 'Akalimu' singer's way of doing things. Bobi Wine will now have to celebrate this landmark achievement with a handful of fans.

The 2013 BET Nominees will be performing live at Underbar Super Lounge located at 279 Tremont St, Downtown Boston on Thursday, Jul 04, 2013.

Bobi Wine and Barbie pose with a 'fan' at Taksim Square
The Ghetto gladiator is in Istanbul Turkey where he's held performances for the Ugandans there but unfortunately for him, he's been caught up in the demonstrations by activists around Istanbul's Taksim Square and Gezi Park.

Yesterday, Riot police was forced to fire water cannons and tear-gas to disperse large crowds and somehow, the tear-gas got to Bobi Wine and his wife Barbie who were busy chilling at their hotel room.

The couple decided to hit the streets as part of their Istanbul tour where they met some of the protesters who were fleeing from tear gas, but according to him, the smell of the tear gas was reminding him of the chocolate they had just enjoyed a few minutes back.

"If am to compare this to Kaihuraz tear gas, u would agree with me that this Turkish tear gas is just smelling like chocolate."

Much as the tear gas was next to chocolate, this did not stop him from wearing masks. Now the big question is, Is it Bobi Wine who has a strong resistance to tear gas or its just a light version of tear gas that was being used!

Bobi Wine Clears teh space on the take over of One Love Beach by Bebe Cool

A rumour going viral for the last 72 hours was that One Love Beach had been attached by Equity Bank and talks were underway with Bebe Cool to buy it before the end of this month.

In a lengthy statement, Bobi Wine says this is the works of his haters who can't keep their minds, eyes and mouth off his achievements. If they are not singing about the Yacht, they are talking about the beach. Short of that, they are discussing our buildings and businesses in the hood, Bobi adds in his statement.

Bobi concludes that: "Their recent move to tarnish One Love Beach by spreading a rumour that it has been taken over by Equity Bank was poorly calculated."

Fire Base Entertainment, Fire Records, One Love Beach and Angry Management plus all other sister companies have never had any business dealings with Equity Bank. He wondered how a reputable bank like Equity could be dragged in what he termed as cheap propaganda.

Bobi reminded haters that he has been the proud face of Centenary Bank for the last six years so his bankers are Centenary Bank which in this case would be the closest to attach should there be anything to attach. He also reminded his haters of how he used to toil putting up a permanent structure on a 26 acre land while they were busy getting drunk.

The 26 acres where One Love Beach sits IS and SHALL always remain a property of the Ghetto Republic before signing off.

Fans wanting to feel Chameleone at the Badilisha Concert
Photo: Nicholas Oneal
Africa's number six and East Africa's finest, Jose Chameleone did it once again at the Badilisha Concert that was held at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. Dressed like an astronaut straight from Mars to Kyadondo, the Badilisha star hit the stage at about 10:30pm doing 'Owakabi' followed by 'Bomboclut' and later his other top hits that included, Mama Mia, 'Mambo Bado', 'Bayuda' among others.

The Ghetto President was all smiles in the VIP section clad in black alongside the Kampala Metropolitan Police Boss Felix Kaweesi plus other East African artistes that included Redsan, Samputu and Prof. Jay among others.

Local artistes who entertained the guests before Chamili hit the stage included: Navio, Gravity Omutuju, AK47, Papa Cidy, Mathias Walukagga, Ronald Mayinja and Coco Finger among others.

True to his name, Chameleone stunned guests when he did songs by fellow artistes like Bebe Cool's 'Kasepiki', 'Wendi' by Bobi Wine, 'Bread and Butter' by the Goodlyfe and 'Bweyanyamba' by Judith Babirye. He did not spare Jaguar's Kigeugeu.

Chameleone later urged half of his fans at the Badilisha live show to support the OBUDDE album launch by Goodlyfe which will take place on May 10, 2013.

As the show was almost winding up, Chameleone invited his son, Abba Marcus Mayanja who took on to the guitar to do the 'Bomboclut' song. The boy looked calm before the crowd as he did justice to the guitar. Last year, Valu-Valu was big but Badilisha was even bigger with numbers estimated at over 24,000.

Police issued a terror alert earlier in the day but this did not stop fans from rocking the venue which was the scene of the July 2010 Al-Shabab bombs that left over 70 dead.

KCCA Tightens its grip on artistes who litter
Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has banned six concerts that were slated to take place around the Easter period for littering the city with posters. This was confirmed by the Communications and Media officer, Robert Kalumba. Eagles Productions, Eddy Kenzo, Bobi Wine and Kato Lubwama's shows are among those that have been affected.

Some of the artistes have vowed to defy KCCA's orders and will go ahead with the planned concerts. This morning, Bobi Wine dashed to his wall with these remarks: "I was surprised to hear that KCCA is taking me to court for putting Busaabala banners in the city yet I have a letter from them permitting me to do so and a receipt from them having paid 10,000/- per banner per day.

Now do not tell me that money does not reach where it should or should I say your spokesperson, Kalumba was drunk! Wama come Easter Monday, We go Busaabala-One Love Beach."

Sanyu FM'S morning crew were forced to place a call to Robert Kalumba over the matter and he clarified that, it's the display of posters that is not allowed, but they are free to display banners: "You can put a banner provided you have paid at our offices but not posters. All these cities you people admire like Kigali have no posters and there is no way posters will be allowed to be displayed in the city."

Meanwhile, in relation with littering the city, KCCA yesterday arrested some two motorists for littering and dumping garbage out of a moving personal vehicle.

Bobi Wine reacts to Bebe Cool's Rich-List Talk
The issue of Chameleone being ranked number 10 among the top richest African musicians has now taken a new twist. A day after Bebe Cool gave his views on what he thought about the top list, Bobi Wine has come out with what he terms as his views as opposed to what appeared in the Bukedde Newspaper of March 21, 2013.

"It is unfortunate that my name has been dragged into some immature argument. Well, It's only understandable that my name can't be ignored when this topic of money and wealth comes up. However, let me put it straight, There's absolutely no reason for me to have any kind of problem when a comrade in showbiz is ranked the richest artist in Africa just like I would not expect him to have a problem if my wife ranked me the strongest man in the world.

The 'By Far' singer adds that: This is called Showbiz(ness). As for you our elder brother (Neighbour with no address), no one quarrelled when you ranked yourself best artist of all time in Uganda. I really think you crossed borders when you started talking money and wealth because I don't see you in this area. $$Just an Observation$$", he concluded.

In his message, Bobi Wine makes it clear that he has no problem with his comrade being ranked number 10, in fact, he puts it plainly that he has no problem if he's the richest in Africa. Bobi Wine does not think that BEBE who has no address now that his house is still under construction should have the guts to talk about money and wealth and he does not see him in this area.

It should be noted at this point that Bobi Wine has his mansion in Magere, just completed Semakokiro Plaza with 12 units that currently house his Fire Base Crew offices, an Escalade and a beach in Busabala among others. Bebe Cool on the other hand has his Hummer, just recently was trying out the Bebe Cool Wine though not much is known about the wine currently.

Bobi Wine's response has come at the time when Bebe Cool had just put a pic of Chameleone eating rice on a plastic plate, but in all this, all Chameleone says is, kutaBADILISHA.

Barbie Wine Ventures into weather resistant Matooke plantains
Bobi Wine's wife, Barbara Kyagulanyi is one person you recognize either through a reality TV show, Omubanda W' Kabaka (OWK) that is aired on Bukedde TV or when you spot her cruising a black 'Ghetto' customized Escalade, then you know you've seen a wife to one of the biggest artistes in the country.

Barbie will even pull crowds to product promos like OMO and PRISM financial services that she is signed to but little is said about the agriculture celebrity she is.

The latest from her Magere based camp is that, Barbie has launched an attack on bad weather by venturing into resistant matooke plantains that will still grow irrespective of the weather pattern.

Barbie Wine says that: "Planting season is here!!!!!With all the uncertainty that surrounds us, I decided to go in for more resistant matooke plantains! Katulepuke you weather!" Then came a million dollar question from one of her followers; That does not look like Matooke?

Barbie's response was: "That's matooke, the type they manufacture. It goes through the lab, then plantains grow from scratch to that level." Now Barbie is one amazing house wife who on top of getting product endorsements is also the director of the Omubanda Wa Kabaka reality TV show together with faded star, Karitas Karisimbi.

Oh she also has a book, Golden Memories of a Village Belle.

Bobi Wine's portrait on Barbie's back
         Upclose of Barbie's tattoo

Barbara Itungo Kyagulanyi aka Barbie -  has Bobi Wine's portrait inked on her back followed by the word forever. This is another way of saying; I will love you forever and ever. A few months back, there were rumours doing the rounds that the couple was on the verge of breaking up but Barbie came up and said what she uttered 12 years back that she is here to stay.

Bad Black - Then came Bad Black who was better referred to as Mad Black by the way she used to spend before her source of dime came to the lime light. Bad Black was in love with Meddie and felt that the best way to prove her love was to ink her body with Meddie's name.

Bad Black dashed to a fake tattoist who simply used a marker to come up with a fake tattoo and got quite an amount. Shanita later identified an authentic source that inked Meddie's name on her back. Meddie is still in jail though and Bad Black is a fugitive suspected to be in Malaysia. It's not clear if that huge tattoo on her back still exists as the two fell out badly.

Bad Black with Meddie Ssentogo's huge tattoo on her back Club Silk's Linda Lisa's decorated back

Others with tattoos include:
Juliana Kanyomozi on her arm with name inscriptions of her dad, Gerald and her son Keron. In her latest profile on NTV, you can see Maurice Ochol caressing it in admiration.

Zari's Tattoo - Is a combination of 10 stars and initials of her three sons PDQ - Pinto, Didy and Quincy plus one of a coloured flower on her legs. Other tattoos on her body, Isaac Lugudde might be of help here.

Isaac Lugudde - The Big Brother hopeful has so many tattoos on his body that there's hardly any space left though he says, should he go to the Big Brother House, he will add more tattoos to do with Big Brother Africa.

A few months back when Lugudde was still dating Zari, he put 'The Boss Lady' tattoo on his ribs followed by a verse from the bible Gen 2:18 which says that: "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." but the two have since split and moved on with Zari bouncing back to the father of her three kids as Lugudde hooked up with a one Cynthia.

Bobi Wine at Cayenee Bar and Lounge recently
The 'Why' remix by Bobi Wine and Mampi is out and can be downloaded from from Wine's sound cloud audio platform.

Ragga Dee is on record for having plagiarized Mampi's Swilili track to come up with his Swetietie Luganda version. During his Unplugged show at Club Silk last Thursday, Ragga Dee said that he has over 100 songs, has not done any collabo with any artiste and so, it's not his problem that one of his songs can sound like that of any other artiste.

Regarding the Switietie song, Ragga Dee told his fans that may be DJ Shiru is to blame because he is the one who brought the track to him to do a remix for promotional purposes. Mampi has already confirmed her Uganda show on Valentine's day at Hotel Africana.

Just yesterday, the Ghetto gladiator released a four minute 'Why' remix which is a combination of Muna Masaka vs Muna Lusaka lyrics. Bobi Wine is one of the artistes that are lined up to perform with Zambia's RnB artiste on Valentine's day.

Those who have listened to the 'Why' remix say it's good food for the ears.

Bobi Wine's crib beats them all
Bobi Wine's house in Magere and inset is his Semakokiro Plaza followed by Chameleone's Sseguku based house while posing right by Daniella Villas and last but not least is Bebe Cool's Kiwatule based mansion that has seen much progress in the last months to the level of roofing.

The music industry in Uganda is so competitive especially when it comes to these three top male artistes but their cribs have always been an interesting topic of discussion for the fans.

Regarding Bobi Wine's Magere based crib, there is nothing much to write home about. Just recently, he moved his Fire Base office and studio to Semakokiro Plaza that has over 10 units boosting his savings as he won't have any office rent to pay.

Chameleone is busy renovating his house though complaining of how cement prices are sky rocketing but fans have advised him to resort to using cow dung or he should very quickly come up with a concert of sorts tagged to house renovation.

Bebe Cool has just roofed his luxurious 6in1 mansion and this very year, he could move in at least going by the progress on the house. The Kamwako singer has committed all resources to the house putting on hold his other activities like donating to charity, painting his current Ntinda house among others.

Bebe Cool and Bukedde Newspaper at it again
Bukedde Newspaper and Bebe Cool have come a long way. In April last year, Bebe Cool hit the stage with a Bukedde newspaper which he stuffed in his pants as he performed. This got Bobi Wine tweeting that:

"I saw an artiste who stuffed a news paper in his private parts and said he was going to wipe his behind with it on stage in front of a respectful crowd....for the first time,I felt ashamed of my career."

Now just last Saturday, Bebe Cool who was recovering from the Mukula sentence shock was a best man at a wedding of fellow rastaman Ras B Ssali that was held in Entebbe. In fact he told some of his pals that he was using the opportunity to rehearse for his formal wedding to Zuena.

News got to him through Agataliiko Nfuufu that he was the main headline for the next day's Bukedde paper and that ''his ear was bite off''....er dreadlocks were cut off. This got the 'Kamwako' singer angry and promised to use this opportunity to sue them.

"I have been waiting for a chance to sue Bukedde coz of the way they have been defaming me for some personal reasons and here it is. I was at a wedding (yesto) yesterday in (Ebz) Entebbe as a Best Man but these donkeys have written that I fought and bouncers cut off my hair, They will have to prove this in court."

Bebe concluded that: "Mbalina ate mukulemelako ndi mukambwe nyoooo." literally meaning that I've got them this time and there's no way they can get off the hook.

This got Bobi Wine saying that: "When in school (not elementary school) I was taught that when you lose your COOL in public, then you're bound to act like a FOOL. It should be noted that violence  is the only refuge to a fool..."Related: Bebe Cool Attacks Bukedde Over Wealth Article

Bobi Wine at his Semakokiro based offices
Its a new year and for Bobi Wine this means that certain things have to change too. In the month of January 2013, he won't be paying rent for his office space as he has already moved his Fire Records studio and offices to Kamwokya, Semakokiro Plaza and that is where he can be found on a good day.

His wife Barbie was quick at congratulating him for having stopped paying rent for office space. "Kulika Obupangisa Ssebo", Barbie tweeted. Last year Bobi said: "This will be my business empire with Fire Base Offices, studio, bar, hospital and a shop with Fire Base Crew Designs."

This means that he is yet to open up a bar and a shop that we have not yet established what will be on sale their but that seems like the way he has kicked off with the year 2013. On his office desk were two small flags, one for Buganda Kingdom and the Ugandan flag.

Ssemakokiro Plaza was named after Buganda Kingdom's youngest son. Meanwhile, Dubai fans missed Jose Chameleone as he had to attend to the disturbing case of the intruder who broke into his house, but not all is lost as Bobi Wine will be performing in Dubai on February 2, 2013.

Bobi Wine performing during his Tugambire Ku Jennipher Launch
Bobi Wine was watching from a distance as Bebe Cool and Chameleone were busy sorting themselves out on who had a better crowd at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.

He decided to go about it his own way to ensure that the Kyadodondo show in particular does not register a flop and at the end of it all, it was a success at least going by the numbers. Bobi Wine invited the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) leader Kizza Besigye and Jose Chameleone who did not disappoint.

Other guests  who attended included; the Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, Kampala Metropolitan Police Boss Felix Kaweesi, Juma Seiko, Godfrey Nyakaana, and Kawempe mayor Mubarak Munyagwa among others.

The line up of the artistes who curtain raised for Bobi Wine included Aziz Azion, Coco Finger with his trademark dance followed by the Goodlyfe Crew. Bobi Wine hit the stage at about 10:30pm and kicked off the show with 'Nyimbira Kabaka Wange' which cements him as the Omubanda Wa Kabaka.

He then moved to a thrilling performance doing songs like Mr.Kataala, Kiwaani, Carolina and Mazzi Mawanvu. Bobi switched to his very old songs that included 'Wesotinge' and Bad Man from Kamwokya among others.

The Omubanda Wa Kabaka took a break and on bouncing back, he rolled off with 'Matyansi Butyampa', Paul Kafeero's 'Dipo Nazigala', 'Ebibuuzo', 'Ekirooto'' and Obululu Tebutwawula' which were more on the political stand and a good message to the fans given the guests in VIP.

Bobi Wine was specifically impressed by Chameleone and other artistes gracing his album launch, and this is what he had to say: "To all fellow artistes that came for my concert, thank you very much. I never knew that I have so many friends amongst my comrades..as for the fans, Iam speechless, I love you so much, thanks for your support, God Bless."

Barbie Kyagulanyi and Bobi Wine
The big boys in the music industry Chameleone and Bebe Cool have been doing what they do best and that is bickering over nothing. Bebe Cool accuses Chameleone for not bathing and Chameleone advises him to do more research on financial and debt management principals.

As all this was going on, Omubanda Wa Kabaka, Bobi Wine was returning from Sudan where he was given a free ride in a chopper to a Juba police to help with investigations but on coming back to Kampala, he returned to a rude welcome.

The Tugambire Ku Jenipher posters had been pulled down and replaced with other posters redirecting fans to KK Beach and Lido Beach on the same date of his album launch. This made the Ghetto gladiator mad that he dashed to his wall and other media stations to put the record straight:

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Iam officially announcing that I don't have any show at KK Beach. Whoever has reproduced my launch posters and is advertising that Im in some kind of competition at KK Beach Vs Another artist at Lido Beach on the same date, is out of his mind.." Bobi Wine wrote.

Bobi is now pursuing those behind the sabotage but at the same time asking Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) to show cause why his 'Tugambire Ku Jennifer' posters were pulled down even before 16.Nov.2012, the date for the launch and yet he had paid them in full.

Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone held their album launches already and are right now engaged a cyber war on who had a better crowd. Bobi Wine is already looking at alternatives should his show flop, he will take on KK Beach and KCCA for trying to confuse his fans who have vowed to come in big numbers.

Chameleone and Bebe Cool are at it again
Following the bitter facebook exchange over the weekend, Chameleone who bagged the East African Recognition Award in the recently held Kisima Awards has ceased fire.

In his words Chameleone says: "Ceasefire, fans and Leone Island family, It was a reasoning Sunday, no hatred! Have a peaceful week,"

But the Kamwako star is not taking any of that and he says why start a war that you cannot sustain. Bebe Cool replied shortly after: "If you can't sustain a war, don't start one. Lego Cyber warfare. Eno siyakukasuka macup naye ya kunyiga mapesa." meaning that this is not a bottle throwing war but playing with the keyboard.

He concludes by saying Gagamel forever we nuh retreat we nuh surrender ceasefire ???on what deal?

Bobi Wine's facebook update worrying
One radio station was this morning trying to reach out to Bobi Wine but his phone was returning a busy tone until they gave up. It was later established that he was in Juba though the purpose of the visit was unclear, so they referred the matter to next week.

The communication off his wall indicates that Bobi Wine is in a situation that he himself is not in position to explain. In the message that has left most of his fans worried states that:

"Im being chauffeured to a Juba Police station for a case I have not been explained to fans, friends and family, I pray all this goes down well." Bobi Wine is in final stages of his next album launch that will be held at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds on 16.Nov.2012.

The last time the Ghetto president was close to a similar scenario was when he tried to access the Presidential pavilion at Kololo during the celebrations to mark 50 years of independence.

We are yet to establish what is it he was doing in Juba and why he had to get a free ride to Juba Police. Latest information coming in is that he has been released with no charge.

Bebe Cool scoffs at Chameleone over flopped show
This was widely expected with Sean Paul doing 'She Doesn't Mind' at Lugogo Cricket Oval coupled with the bad weather, there were more empty chairs at Club Obligato than guests.

It's on record, Bebe Cool's Kamwako launch was well attended but not enough for the concert organiser to recoup his costs something that made Chameleone laugh for close to a week.

Chameleone laughed simply because his Valu Valu launch had more fans than Bebe Cool's Kamwako launch. Chameleone was on the line up of curtain raisers at Lugogo and he was supposed to do three songs but ended up doing eight tracks before relocating to Club Obligato where about 100 people were waiting for him.

Bebe Cool who has been unsettled since then is now cracking his ribs and wondering how his neighbour 'A' could fail to to have a small bar like Club Obligato to full capacity which an upcoming artiste like Chris Evans did.

Bebe wrote: "Neighbour 'A' was humbled to 120 fans. Ondagamu no yasama, ate gakyali mabaga."  Meaning that you should not open your mouth again as more is yet to come.

Same Venue different launch dates, who has a bigger crowd?
Jose Chameleone is still laughing but that's all he has to do for now after Bebe Cool's Kamwako launch which by 'their' standards was a flop but for Bobi Wine who has a launch in (10) days, he has this to say.

"In the beginning it was all physical, I even knocked the guy down at one point Naye nawakana. Then we decided to organise our launches on the same dates to see who is who...we did it 3 consecutive times Nga Ela tumusinga hands down Ela nawakana.

Then came the battle of Champions..in his own words he said ''Tukilize Bobi Wine Yasinga'' but 12hrs later, he objected. This time, we agreed to set our concerts on different dates but in the same venue to settle this once and for all.

One of us had his concert, and you saw the numbers plus the empty chairs! We are now waiting for 16th November. Same venue, Kyadondo. How is that folks." Those were the words of Bobi Wine.

During Chameleone's Valu Valu launch, Kyadondo was filled to the brim, Bebe Cool tried with his Kamwako launch but could not measure up to Valu Valu, we are now yet to see Bobi Wine with his Tugambire Ku Jennifer.

Chameleone's family with swaggarific kids

The kids may be a few years old but showing all signs of emulating their dad in every way.

Star singer Jose Chameleone who has been busy lately with his international tours shared a pic of his family off his wall to which he says; ''Generation Next, The Mayanja's Mama, Alba, Alfa and Abba love you all, yours DOCTOR"

A fan commented: "This is it..Keep clean Jose this is more than money!!!! The star replied to him that yeah far more than money. The Moto-Moto star has four kids in total. Chameleone had a steamy relationship with Belgian Greant Osea aka Dorotia resulting in their baby Ayla Mayanja but the pair later split.

Inset is Chameleone, Dorotia and Ayla during one of his trips to Brussels. Chameleone's naming order has been any name that starts with A, Bebe Cool follows the alphabet order and he is currently at C with Caysan as the latest addition.

When it comes to the Omubanda Wa Kabaka, Bobi Wine also the Ghetto Gladiator who recently missed sharing the presidential pavilion with Presidents at the Kololo Independence grounds, his kids are named after cities like Kampala and Nairobi.

Through his latest track, 'Tugambire Ku Jenniffer', he is realizing a new set of fans who include tycoons whose structures have been demolished.

Tugambire Ku Jennifer Concert is set for Nov 16, 2012
We recently told of how Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine had set their album launches on different dates for the first time in three years. The dates for Bebe Cool's Kamwako launch are still set to take place on the same dates and venues.

Bobi Wine has now come up with a new date and location and this time he says its now official implying that their won't be any more changes. Bobi Wine confirmed this in a message off his official wall.

"Now it is official, 16th November at Lugogo Rugby Grounds, 17th Satellite Beach Mukono and Sunday 18th at One Love Beach, Busabala....We shall be in a Concert dubbed Tugambire Ku Jenniffer. It's gonna be extra ordinary."

What is clear is the date but with a bit of mix up between Kyadondo on his poster and Lugogo in his facebook post but that's no big deal as they are more or less in the same walkable distance.

Last year, the 'Matyansi Butyampa' Concert and the 'Minzani' Concert were held on the same day making it the fourth in a row of concerts between these two that were held on the same dates that include: (Agenze Vs Carolina), (Bogolaako Vs Wesontinge) and (Kasepiki Vs Kataala).

It's important to note that this trend has changed after the battle of champions was held between the two artistes.

Bobi Wine Bounced at Kololo
As Uganda was celebrating 50 years of independence at the Kololo grounds, several heads of state from over 15 countries were in attendance. These included Kenya's President Mwai Kibaki, Rwanda's Paul Kagame, Salva Kiir from South Sudan, Pierre Nkuruziza from Burundi and Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe among others.

Other dignitaries included the Duke of Kent, Prince Edward who represented the Queen of England, His Royal Highness the Aga Khan. The President of Uganda who was also the host arrived a few minutes past eleven in his black Mercedes Benz Limousine.

There was lots of entertainment from various artistes like Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Juliana Kanyomozi, Jackie Chandiru. The Golden Jubilee anthem Yoga Yoga Uganda was played just before President Museveni took to the podium to give his Golden Jubilee keynote address.

The celebrations went on smoothly though rain disrupted the event. "The President told his guests that we cannot obstruct God's plans." Helicopters and Fighter jets were  flying over the Kololo Independence grounds entertaining thousands of guests that turned up for the Golden Jubilee celebrations.

Like all other events, there is always a funny bit to it. The Ghetto President, Bobi Wine, also the Omubanda Wa Kabaka walked in with a swagg as usual trying to make his way to the Presidential pavilion followed by some Fire Base Crew members.

Security moved in swiftly to end a situation some plain clothes operatives were terming as abnormal. Bobi Wine assured them of how he was paid to come and attend unlike other Presidents who were given cards.

Bobi Wine's Semakokiro Plaza under construction

The 'By-Far' Star has unveiled the Semakokiro Plaza with over 10 Units of which some will be ready for use by the end of this month.

The building is located in Kamwokya where he was cleaning last weekend as part of his CSR activities. Interestingly, the 'Tugambire Ku Jenipher' singer says these won't be rentals.

"This will be my business empire with Fire Base Offices, studio, bar, hospital and a shop with Fire Base Crew Designs." Recently, Chameleone unveiled Daniella Villas that he constructed for his wife, Bebe Cool said: "Never under estimate a snail, it can cover longer distances than a fly."

Bebe's version is that once his (6in1) houses are done, he would have run over these guys. However, Bobi and Bebe are not patient enough to unveil their structures when complete, they instead let the cat out of the bag early enough.

Ssemakokiro Plaza named after Buganda Kingdom's youngest son have 12 units. Meanwhile,  last week's heavy presence of police at Centenary Park in an effort to restore the greenbelt reminded Bobi Wine's wife of how her containers that were dealing in Range Rover spare parts were removed.

Commenting on the Centenary Park Demolitions, Barbie said: "This day and all that is happening at Centenary Park brings me the worst feeling and terrible memories of my containers in Kamwokya being demolished."

Zuena, Barbie and Daniella
Zuena, Barbie and Daniella are three special women engaged to the top musicians in the land who stay at home taking care of the kids while their husbands make the dime at different gigs in the night.

Zuena Kirema is engaged to Bebe Cool (Moses Ssali) while Barbie (Barbara Itungo) is married to Bobi Wine(Robert Kyagulanyi) and last but not least is Daniella Atim, who is married to Jose Chameleone (Joseph Mayanja).

Daniella keeps at home most of the time taking care of the kids. Barbie on the other hand has been busy managing the One Love Beach, replenishing the second batch of her village belle book let alone ensuring that the Omubanda Wa Kabaka reality show on Bukedde is up and running.

Zuena Cool is into music and has two tracks to her name, 'Owa Boda' and 'Mata', a collaboration with the then Eighton and Rain. This not only makes her a wife to a musician but also a musician.

This type of CV has made Zuena utter some words similar to not comparing her with any other musician's wife as the only thing they have in common is being MARRIED to a musician. Zuena emphasizes the marriage aspect as she even puts it in caps, may be because not so many have witnessed a wedding as big as Bobi Wine and Chameleone.

Barbie's reaction sounded like scripts in a yet to be released book on people who try so hard. "We sometimes wonder why some people deny the obvious when criticised, why they desperately seek for assurance that they are loveable, why they try hard to please others in order to get public attention."

She concludes: "Wonder no more. Such people have low self esteem and they don't believe in themselves. Try hard to accept who you are and never to wish you were somebody else."

Have the wars crossed to the musician's wives!! Watch this space!

Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine to launch their albums on different dates
Singer Bebe Cool and his arch rival Ghetto president Bobi Wine have set their album launches. Bobi Wine's By-Far (Jenniffer) album will be launched on 26-Oct-2012 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds followed by the Satellite and One Love Beach Shows.

Twenty fans will have the opportunity of cruising with the ghetto president, Bobi Wine on the Omubanda Wa Kabaka Yacht with fish on the house.

In a recent interview, the 'Kabirinage' star told the interviewer that he will be launching his 'Kamwako' on 2,3 and 4th of November at venues yet to be communicated. The two artistes have been launching on the same dates in their previous two launches but they were forced to reconsider this.

Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool recently locked horns in what they termed as the Battle of the Champions and both camps declared themselves winners but we are beginning to see some fruits out of that.

Rumours had started circulating that they have again set the same album launch dates but going by the information coming through from reliable sources, this is unlikely.

Bobi Wine says his latest single dubbed 'Jennifer' is not aimed at the Executive Director of KCCA.
Bobi Wine's latest single titled 'Jennifer' has made him a subject of discussion at both KCCA and the communications regulatory body, UCC.

The Omubanda Wa Kabaka also the Ghetto president recently released a song titled 'Jennifer' which was widely believed to be a verbal attack on Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director, Jennifer Musisi.

Bobi Clarifies

Bobi Wine was quick at clearing this by saying that he was only acting on behalf of the voiceless ghetto people. On the other hand, the Executive Director was approached on the matter though at the time, she had not listened to the song and promised to do so.

Executive Director Jennifer Musisi Responds

"I have not yet heard the song yet but I will surely try to find it. If he thinks he's trying to get at me, am sorry. He's a small fish with no bones and trust me, we shall see who has the last laugh,"

UCC Issues Airwaves Order

The communication's body last week issued a 'Warning Against Misuse of Airwaves'. In a statement, the body said: "..there was a noticeable increase in negative trends ranging from outright hostility and abuse to lack of balanced discussions on airwaves, especially during political discussions,"

It added: "Some artistes and musicians have resorted to attack personalities through their songs and other works. Much as they have a right to express themselves... public airwaves should not be used to attack individuals, which may amount to defamation."

Bobi Responds to UCC
"Now, I want to advise the Uganda Miscommunication Commission to remember that they are supposed to be serving the people, not a person. Listen to what the people are trying to communicate instead of intimidating the messenger. Listen to the voice of the people. Understand, don't misunderstand....communicate, d
on't miscommunicate!"

No Ban
Meanwhile, the Executive Director Godfrey Mutabazi has clarified that the 'Jennifer' song was not banned though they are yet to review it and will advise accordingly.

Bebe Cool kissinhg Zuena on his birthday at Assylum Bar

While other celebrities are celebrating their birthdays at 25 and working their way downwards, Bebe Cool has just made 35. On 1-Sep-2012, the 'Akamwako' star celebrated his birthday at Asylum bar and later crowned the night at Guvnor.

Zuena who could not hide her excitement had this to say: "Happy birthday to my hubby, friend, father to my angels, my one and only Musa Bebe Cool. I wouldn't ask Allah for a better husband am proud of you and I cherish each day with u. Long live my love."

Amazingly, Bebe Cool is older than Bobi Wine(30), Chameleone(33) though Ragga Dee beats them all at 39. This is the soul reason you will not get Ragga Dee in these cats fights.

Afande Sele performing at a Tigo promo compared with Bebe Cool's
The Gagamel camp is on fire and its getting hot in here. Yesterday, a picture of a man who looked like Bebe Cool was posted on FB scratching his balls while performing on stage. Bebe Cool was equally confused because you could easily think it was him courtesy of the dreadlocks.

The 'Akamwa Ko' star went on a searching spree for answers to his fans who were now furious and bashing him from all corners with all sorts of insults following a posting on his wall about (A) Jose Chameleone and (B)Bobi Wine which backfired.

Bebe Cool has now established that the artiste who was performing on stage with his jeans off and touching his 'privates' before revellers is none other than Tanzania's King of Bongo Flavor Afande Sele who was performing at a gig sponsored by a TZ mobile company TIGO.

After clearing that, Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool looked for the culprits behind this photo and his findings narrowed on Club Rouge's Marketing Manager Gareth Onyango and DJ Momo as the guys behind tagging him to that photo. The Big Size star charged like a wounded buffalo and attacked the two referring to Gareth as a cleaner at Club Rouge.

"hahahaha, I pity two silly fools, one works in Club Rouge as a cleaner by the names Onyango Gareth the other is a wanabe DJ mbu DJ Jojo Mimz as short as a shoe. They post a fake pic of some up-coming tz artist called Afande Saly performing at a Tigo promo in TZ to counter attack the A and B story that I posted. Only they forgot that in UG thez no tigo and Bebe is a lot mo hairy and has mob side bans. sori ma fans aint drug addicts like A and B fans. ma fans can see"

It's not clear though what yardstick was used to establish that these two were behind the photo act.

Gareth Onyango says: "If God had wanted you to talk more than listen, he would have given you two mouths and one ear."

DJ Jojo said "Grades don't measure intelligence and age doesn't define maturity. Age is just a number, maturity is a choice. Admitting you're wrong doesn't show weakness, it shows maturity."

Meanwhile, Bobi Wine who from Bebe's post is reffered to as (B) is releasing a song in under 48 hours and you can be sure it will feature his retaliation on how Bebe referred to his 'yacht' as a canoe. Watch this space!!

Zuena defends hubby in Chameleone-Bobi attack
Bobi Wine after unleashing the boat said 'Kano Katandika Butandisi' meaning the show is just getting started.

Yesterday, we told of how Bebe Cool attacked his 'neighbours' in which one failed to perform at the Olympics and the other bought a canoe and was yet to start fishing at Busabala Beach.

Fans assured him to leave fellow singers alone as he was contradicting messages in his very own tracks like Minzani and Kamwako among others. Bebe was also told that he is good but Chameleone is by far and large better than him in music and could not even measure up to Bobi's assets.

This did not go down well with Zuena(Bebe's wife) who started unfriending all those who were talking ill of the 'Akamwako' star. Some of Zuena's friends who had been scrapped off that title had started complaining.

Zuena wondered: "Abange if you dislike my husband or his music & I unfriend you, why do you fuss, behind every successful man there is a supporting woman." Bebe Cool did not waste any time in responding to his wife:

"Hhahaha Luv wange, vakundinga ezo. tebamanyi gwebalumba, njakubaezo embuuzi" translated as"My love leave them as they don't know who they are dealing with, I will beat those goats"

Meanwhile, Bobi Wine's wife Barbie Itungo is busy promoting Bobi Wine's latest track 'Obuvuka' with a theme of you reap what you sow and posting more boat pictures while Chameloene's wife Daniella Atim is busy taking care of the kids.

Bobi Wine on his 'boat', Bebe and his dogs during the last album launch and Chameleone in the UK during the Easter Holiday
Local music star Bebe Cool who is fresh from Germany has started off by dissing fellow singers Jose Chameleone and Bobi Wine referring to them as Neighbour A and Neighbour B. In his latest posting, Bebe Says:

"I once had two neighbours (A) and (B) four months ago, neighbour A told me he was going to rap at the Olympics faster than Usain Bolt. Neighbour (B) not wanting to be out-done, told us he had bought a canoe and he was yet to buy a fishing net. All this was simply Air. What is your take on the neighbours."

Now looking at how events have been unfolding (A) is Chameleone who recently went on strike after his passport was held in Tanzania and among others, he said that he wanted his passport back as he was slated to perform at the closing ceremony of the Olympics. Stephen Kiprotic took the moment. Chamelone is now saying that confiscating his passport led to delays in securing a visa.

On the other hand (B) is Bobi Wine who made headlines with a boat that he is valuing at $750,000 while other sources are claiming the boat is actually for Sudhir's daughter. This is fresh and we are yet to see how the 'Neighbours' will treat this.

Chameleone in his latest track 'Salute' referred to them as 'Ba Bigambo boys' as they kept trading insults in 'By Far' VS 'Big Mouth by Far songs' Chameleone also reminds them that its' been 12 years when the name Chamelone is the one that rules the industry.

Since Bebe Cool was asking for views on what the fans thought of his analysis of his 'neighbours', the fans did not disappoint but the majority told him that it would be wise if he left Chameleone out of the bickering.

These were some of the views:
Kizito Kizman: Neighbour A is better than you in music and Neighbour B is better than you in money and assets by far.

Bobi Wine during the test ride of the mini yacht.
Bobi Wine's boat with 2 bedroom cabins, sun-bath area, toilet with a pilot console among others has been making headlines this week after Bobi and other Fire Base crew members went for a test ride last Saturday on L.Victoria.

The news of the boat was still very fresh when a rumour started circulating that the boat was actually hired for video shooting purposes and that it belonged to property moguls' daughter Sudhir Ruparelia.

In one of the shots in the gallery(Barbie On their New Yacht) there was a debate brewing as to whether this was a boat or yacht. The Ghetto Gladiator has now come out and  lashed out at those saying this is a boat and not a yacht.

"Tabloids are at it again, blinding me with their wrong and inaccurate speculations. Yes I did not buy a boat. I bough a Yacht. Go and Google it. Check out Regal Sport Yacht." The 'By Far' star was kind enough to tell all those who cared to know the cost of the boat that it cost $750,000.

Earlier reports had estimated it at $75,000. "If you are too lazy to check the price out, I will help you out. It costs $750,000." Bobi wrote on his wall. Bobi seems to be having concerns with those who prefer to call it a boat as opposed to a yacht.

According to Wikipedia, a Yacht is a recreational boat or ship.

Barbie had made most gals look on with envy as she enjoyed the ride
We sometime back told you that these celebrities with reality shows are capable of doing anything and one should not be quick at falling for whatever they put on display. First it was the Escalade's tyre rolling off that paralysed traffic for several hours as the film crew captured every moment.

Now the mini yacht is the latest of those plastic stunts. Bobi and his wife Barbie together with some Fire Base Crew members were cruising around in 'their' new baby with the village balle posing for pictures in all angles.

Now unconfirmed reports indicate that the boat belongs to Sudhir's daughter and it was a birthday present on turning 16 a month back. Apparently, the photos were taken during a video shoot for his latest track Better or Worse. The same footage could be good material for his second version of the Omubanda Reality show.

The fans had become excited over the development but as it turns out, the Ghetto Gladiator has to wait a little longer before he can actually own a mini yacht.

Bobi Wine and Kampala during the Kampala City Yange Cleaing exercise at Mulago Hospital
Its now official we have two reality shows but looks like the actors and actresses behind these 'movies' are under pressure to ensure that they have new episodes running every week.

A case in point is the tyre rolling off from Bobi Wine's Escalade, the cleaning at Mulago Hospital this morning among others, chances are some of these activities are meant for the Omubanda Wa Kabaka show. So if you thought that it was a big deal for the Escalade tyre to roll off, don't be surprised if this is a stage managed stunt to create a real life scene for the show.

Zari has even been forced to change cos on some of her projects from the time she thought of the reality show. A case in point is the former hostel on Sir Apollo Kagwa that was later changed to a hotel after Zari realised that she could generate better mileage from the hotel than a hostel once featured in her reality show.

The first episodes of the Zari-The Boss Lady show had businesses in South Africa which could not be verified by most viewers of the show locally and yet the hotel project was taking long to be completed, she very quickly came up with a business idea and that was a jewellery shop at Garden City. Its being launched today.

Don't be surprised if the next episodes are featuring the latest events now that they are reality shows. It's amazing though how much one has to go through just to have a reality show.

Meanwhile, Omubanda Wa Kabaka is organic as they use resources within Magere and therefore affordable as opposed to The Boss Lady which has to juggle between UK, South Africa and Uganda among others.

Bobi Wine's Escalade being worked on in Bukoto

We recently told of how Bobi Wine's Escalade tyre rolled off sending all those who were around to take off like they were rehearsing for the forth coming olympics when the Escalade tyre came rolling after them.

A mechanic was called in just in time as the driver of the Escalade widely believed to be Barbie took off prompting a traffic officer to help with controlling traffic as many motorists tried to get a glimpse of the monster ride.

Now the latest coming in is that Bebe Cool's Gagamel crew rushed to the scene in Kamwokya before the Escalade could be towed away and recorded everything on video. This clip will be used in their video, 'Big Mouth By Far' which is in retaliation to Bobi Wine's 'By Far' video with Bebe Cool's caricature using chop sticks.

Bobi Wine's Escalade by the roadside after a tire rolled off
Bobi Wine's Escalade was yesterday being driven along Kayunga road in K
amwokya when the left hand front tire came off rolling to the side of the road.

This forced some of the pedestrians to take off for their dear lives thinking that the car that had lost control was going to knock them but fortunately, no one was hurt. It is not clear whether it was Bobi or his wife Barbie who was driving it at the time, but it is normally driven by Barbie most of the times.

NTV has a section in which they highlight profiles with the very best of all being property Mogul Sudhir Ruparelia. Bobi Wine appears on that list and among others, NTV says he donated that Escalade to Nakivubo Market traders.

The Escalade was put on auction and the traders failed to meet the minimum amount which was put at Shs10m. That is how the 'donated' Escalade bounced back to the Omubanda Wa Kabaka's camp. To learn more about the Bobi Wine's, you can tune in to Bukedde TV's Omubanda Wa Kabaka reality show every Wednesday at 9:30PM.

Some of the assets the artistes could lose over Tax Evasion
A few weeks back, Uganda Revenue Authority froze Eagles Productions accounts in Centenary Rural Development Bank after it discovered that the band members had evaded taxes for long.

The tax body is now closing in on other top artistes like Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone who could lose some of their property as the tax body tries to recover the taxes the singers have not remitted in the various shows over time.

The artistes have not paid Value Added Tax (VAT) on their album launches and concerts. According to a source from URA; "Chameleone is in trouble because he has so far refused to clear the Shs9m dues for the Valu Valu album launch alone. A notice ordering him to pay it as soon as possible has also been sent to him."

Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine have not yet paid taxes on the recent successful Battle of the Champions that was held at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. The artistes have to clear their dues very soon or else URA could attach their posh rides, mansions and land titles.

Bobi Wine's camp has come up with a new image to haunt Bebe Cool

Early in the month was The Battle of the Champions in which both artistes Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine claimed victory as seen from the pictures that were making rounds on social network sites.

Fans have now taken to photoshopping photos of their respective artistes to show support in the just concluded music battle.

The first pic was found among supporters of Bebe Cool and the second one was very popular among Bobi Wine supporters. The two images were similar forcing the Bobi Wine camp to come up with one that will not be easily duplicated.

In the latest photo, Bebe Cool is depicted as washing Bobi Wine's Escalade. This is certainly not true and photoshop at its best. Meanwhile, the fans are still confused about who won but the artistes are still holding victory parties.

Last Sunday at Busabaala beach was a victory party followed by another a day later at Bull-dog bar in Wandegeya. Bebe Cool has been in the US over the birth of his third born Caysan Ssali Siye. He will now embark on victory parties when he settles down.

Bobi Wine's Omubanda Wa' Kabaka Reality show on Bukedde TV
Omubanda Wa'Kabaka a reality show featuring Bobi Wine and family is one of the most popular shows airing on Bukedde TV channel 148 for those on DSTV. The show which started airing weeks after Zari's 'The Boss Lady' show show-cases Bobi Wine and how he goes about his chores at his Magere mansion.

This particular show which was the third episode had a scene when Jose Chameleone paid a visit to the Bobi Wine's making Barbie prepare a heavy meal that included meat, chicken, Matooke among others for the Chameleone's to feast.

Interestingly, Zari's show airs on UBC at 8:30pm on Wednesday and on the same day an hour later, Omubanda Wa Kabaka airs Bukedde TV clearly giving you an insight in these local celebs lives.

Barbie features prominently on the Omubanda Wa Kabaka unlike The Boss Lady that seems to be preoccupied by Zari her kids and a little bit of her hubby Ivan Ssemwanga. Daniella who happens to be a close buddy to Barbie(Bobi's wife) is contemplating on coming up with a similar show featuring the Valu Valu star. Watch this space!

Iryn Namubiru with her child and Bobi Wine's family
The names parents were giving to their children 30 to 40 years back were very simple names like Robert for Bobi Wine, Joseph for Chameleone and Moses for Bebe Cool. Very interesting indeed and had they left them that way, chances are some could be unheard of.

Children of this generation are not gettingnames like it was back then. Below we take you through the names some od our stars have given their children.

Bebe Cool - Zuena welcomed a bouncing baby boy three days back who happens to be their third child with Bebe Cool. These ones have decided to go about it the alphabet way. Alpha is the first born followed by their only girl Beata and now another boy Caysan.

Jose Chameleone - Exactly three months back Daniella gave birth to their third child who they named Alba Shyne Mayanja. Their first born is Abba Marcus Mayanja. Now looks like this one has gone for names starting with 'A'

Bobi Wine - Now the Omubanda wa Kabaka's is out of the box. He named his kids after cities. His first born is Kampala, and the second one is Nairobi. Their latest was given the Shilling name may after running out of cities that they could embrace.

Juliana Kanyomozi - For the lady musicians it has been nice and polite. Juliana's son with her ex is called Keron Lukwago.

Cindy - The former Blu3 member had 3 items on her agenda last year and one was to give birth, launch an album and have Mario put a ring on her finger. She achieved the first two and now fingers crossed for the wedding. Cindy named her first born Amani. Just next door in Kenya, we have a Kenyan artiste who goes by that name and when she hits stage, all the front row guests are treated to a 'VIP' show of sorts.

Lillian - The former Blu3 member has a child with Goodlyfe member Moze Radio and was given Asanti as the name which is a Swahili word meaning Thank You.

Cobra with Bebe Cool recently
The last time Bebe Cool was shot in 2010, he was shot along with his bodyguard Abbas Bosco aka Cobra who was even rumoured to be dead after he sustained 3 gunshots to the stomach while protecting Bebe Cool.

Unlike his boss who went to the US for further treatment and medical examination getting back to his feet after a short while, Cobra has just reported back on duty.

One snoop noted that: "Bebe is having two personal bouncers at the moment, one Magumba has been on duty alone but since Cobra is back he has some breathing space and on two occasions Magumba was seen guarding the "Big Size" Hummer car with Cobra guarding Bebe."

During the press conference at Kyadondo Rugby grounds before the Battle of the Champions, Cobra was right behind Bebe Cool. Bobi Wine made a comment that hit directly at the bodyguards.

Bobi said that; "Those bodyguards were once guarding One Love Beach in Busabaala." This comment did not go down well with Magumba who reacted by saying that no, he does not have enough money to facilitate us, we guard Big Size man."

Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool at Kyadondo during the battle of the Champions
The Battle of the Champions is now behind us as we prepare for Big Brother starting tonight but the question on everyones' mind is who won? Like we said earlier, it will be the fans to decide who won based on what transpired.

Artistes Arrive
Bobi Wine with his entire Fire Base Crew came in a Pioneer Easy Bus UAR 581J followed by Bebe Cool ten minutes later who came in his Hummer with a military pickup ahead of it clearing the way.

Bebe Cool was the first to perform according to plan followed by Bobi Wine. Initially Bebe was using a CD but later turned to real singing after being pressured by Bobi's fans. This move made Bebe Cool perform close to 50 songs as Bobi did just half that number.

Bebe Cool did more music as opposed to Bobi Wine who made it a point that for everything he had to sing/say, it was an attack on Bebe Cool. The fans were also organised in a way that, when Bebe Cool was on stage, they could cheer him on and the moment Bobi got on stage, the booing him down was heard from a huge crowd.

The booing of Bobi Wine was mainly caused by the way he kept on referring to Bebe's wealth, wife and personal life generally.

At some point, Bebe Cool brought some disabled children on stage and Bobi Wine's supporters out rightly told him off as this was not a charity event but a music battle, so all the fans wanted was music.

At about 3am, police declared that the event should stop. Bobi Wine was performing at the time but he kept on telling off the police officers and asking them to leave the stage. Bobi Wine did this for close to 30mins.

All in all Bebe Cool tried as much as possible to keep his cool but at times the missiles from the Omubanda Wa Kabaka were too much that he had to retaliate. At the end of it all after police had stopped the event and yet the two artistes still wanted to perform, they both declared themselves winners.

However, when Bobi defied police orders to leave the stage, Bebe Cool simply granted him the win for the sake of having peace because defying police would easily result in running battles and tear-gas for the fans who had come in large numbers that some were following the event from outside.

The winner can only be decided by the fans.

Bobi and Bebe in their Battle of the Champion regalia as the Silk Events crew puts up the stage
On Wednesday morning, there was a press conference organised by KT Promotions  in which Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine attended. Bebe Cool kept his cool throughout the press conference even when he was intimidated.

At the end of the press briefing, he addressed journalists who were interviewing him on a number of issues. He also made it clear that this whole Battle of the Champion was his idea and that the two artistes have been paid. Proceeds from the gate collections will go to the promoter.

However, before the day could end, the Ndiisa Butti Sipapa star acted contrary to his latest track Ndissa Butti that portrays him as one who takes one step at a time and not in a hurry by attacking Bobi Wine on his wall.

Bebe wrote: "Imagine this lito thing called Kadingo Bobi Swine rehearsing ma songs, wrong move boy. Toswaza Ba Fan Bo. Hahaha. Now the day this pig dies here, Bobi Swine, take ma advise and come with a coffin in which you will be taken back after Bebe Cool's concert at Lugogo this Friday.."

At this rate, 500 police officers and the 100 military police men and women might not be enough if this is the tone these guys are using. However, some music pundits say that the Login show on NTV in which Bobi revealed that when Bebe's manager approached him, he gave a condition that he takes 85% share of the proceeds if he is to perform. This might have led to the current out burst.

Bobi added that to his surprise, Bebe agreed to take the 15% and it's because of the money that Bobi Wine accepted to be part of the show which he has kept on referring to the Battle of the 'Champion'

Bobi Wine whose reality TV was to start today on Bukedde TV but postponed to next Wednesday has not yet responded to the accusation of rehearsing Bebe's songs. But supposing it was the way Bebe is putting it, wouldn't this be a clear win for him instead of going for the Golola/Naggy situation in which one walks away with the belt and the other goes with the win.

Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool camps at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds
The last time Kyadondo Grounds was filled to capacity was during the Valu Valu Concert with hardly any breathing space as fans came in large numbers to support Jose Chameleone.

KT Promotions the group that brought the late Lucky Duby in the year 2003 are the ones behind the Battle of Champions show slated for this coming Friday at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds and on Sunday in Entebbe. They want to see if these guys combined can measure up to Jose Chameleone in terms of fans.

Bebe Cool got to the venue as early as 11am and started inspecting the area plus what the Silk Events' guys were installing. Bobi Wine was not very far from the venue as his crew who were in the Angry Management van updated him of the proceedings.

On learning that Bebe had arrived, the van drove off and within minutes, it was back with Bobi Wine who first stayed in the van for some time. The police officers, journalists took to their positions as they waited for the artistes to assume their seats.

Bobi Wine came bouncing all the way with his crew members, said hello to whoever was there and took his seat. By then Bebe Cool was with one of his crew members recording his speech and as that went on Bobi said; "Demakakana Wen Deyma See Me"

That should be a mixture of English, Luganda and Jamaican Patwa. Bebe joined everyone looking very composed and sat following everything attentively. The press conference was highlighting how the event will flow.

Police officers have already been deployed at the venue to ensure it's safe. The police added that they will not be bottled drinks so beers will have to be served in disposable glasses.

At the end of the press briefing, KT Promotions guys got a coin to which Bebe and Bobi chose a side and it was Bebe Cool's side on the top implying that he will be the first to perform.

Fans have however demanded that there should not be a repeat of the Golola/Naggy scenario which left the revellers very confused on who had won. They demand that someone should be able to tell the fans on Friday who the winner is since it is a music battle.

The promoters said that that will not be possible before the Sunday show forcing Bobi to interject by saying that the Friday show should be the determinant of who the winner is. They later got to a consensus that the fans will be the judges.

Bobi and Bebe at a press conference at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds
Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine were today at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds for a press brief ahead of the Friday show of the Battle of the Champions. Bebe Cool was at the venue on time and Bobi Wine came forty minutes later.

Bobi Wine came walking with a swagg together with his crew members, said hello to whoever was around and he took his position. Bebe Cool joined minutes later. Bobi demanded that he greets the people he has found around but they told him that he had done that already now that he came earlier on.

Silk events crew had started erecting the stage that will see these two top artistes battling it out musically. The show organised by KT Promotions who have been in the industry for 12 years have sunk over Shs200m in this show.

The press briefing had an advanced team of security operatives who will be beefed up closer to the d-day. 500 police men, 100 military policemen and two units from the dog section will be part of the security on the battle of champions in the same venue that left over 70 dead in the July 2010 bombs.

They do not want to take chances in fact Bebe Cool wanted that the number of policemen be increased to 1,500. The police officer who attended the press briefing said plain clothes policemen will be part of the security.

The Ghetto Gladiator was asked to say something and he said that it should be journalists to ask and then they can respond. One journalist asked a question and they asked Bobi that they wanna hear from him.

"You wanna hear from me, that's no protocal, I'm the President and Bebe Cool was my Vice President when he was in Fire Base, he never resigned and I have never discharged him, he never wrote a resignation letter, so I consider him still my Vice President so he has to speak before me, just follow protocal thank you very much, wama yogera"

Bebe Cool obliged and thanked for the opportunity which he said was his first to talk to the gladiator. He said that he was not here to argue on who speaks first or last because he last did that when he was 17 and half after 18, I got to the point straight.

The gentleman from KT Promotions closed the session and Bebe Cool walked off calling journalists for a 1on1 though Bobi Wine asked him to stay behind as he had something to say but Bebe simply ignored.

Wednesday, April 25 2012

This might be interpreted by some as a sneak peak in the battle of the champions that is to take place on 04-May-2012 between Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.

Bebe Cool released his 'Film Star' single in which he says 'Ndiisa Buuti Sipapa' meaning that he uses chopstics to eat with ease. He also had a line to do with him being a film star who does not die at the end of the movie but its the gangstar (Omubanda) who dies.

Bobi Wine did not waste any time by asking him to withdraw the lyrics or he attacks. Bobi gave Bebe 24 hours as he was busy composing a retaliating track. On not getting a response that he wanted from Bebe, he went ahead and released what is now his latest dubbed 'By Far'

However, on listening to both tracks, it's like the 'Ndiisa Buuti Sipapa' is better than Bobi's 'Better than them by far' just because Bebe had all the time to come up with the track as opposed to Bobi whose theme was tagged to hitting back on the lyrics which were widely believed as an attack on him.

Security had better be tight at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds on 4 May when the Battle of the Titans kicks off. The artistes will be performing on different stages in the same venue as they find out who has more fans, swagg, who is a Katala and Mr. Kadingo.

The show will then cross to Entebbe Resort Beach on 5-May-2012.

Uganda Reality shows are now for real with the second one set to start showing soon on Bukedde TV just before the Agataliiko Nfuufu news at10:00pm.

The Omubanda Wa Kabaka show was supposed to have started airing on April 01 but its likely that when The Zari Boss Lady show was launched, the OWK team must have paused the launch to compare notes and probably come up with a better version.

The show will be about Bobi Wine and his family, rides and also the One Love beach, his farm of cows among others. The show will certainly not leave out the children, Kampala, Nairobi and the last born and of course highlights of the famous Wedding of the Year 2011

Bobi is widely believed to be attached to drugs, so this show which is directed by his wife and former TV personality Karitas Karisimbi will give a detailed insight of Bobi Wine and his fans will get to know him better.

Meanwhile, the third episode of the Z-TBL reality show will be airing on UBC today at 8:30pm.

Ghetto Gladiator Bobi Wine Vs Big Size Bebe Cool
The fans of firebase crew representing the Ghetto Gladiator and those of Gagamel International representing Big Size Bebe Cool were yesterday on Dembe FM and were threatening to tear each other apart on the Kasuku live show.

Its not clear if the guys who were representing the Gladiator just did not articulate issues well or they were not in the know of what they were doing.

When it came to the guys who were defending Bebe Cool, it was as though they had prepared for this long before and did a good job in defending him when it came to music, awards plus the international representation, though in terms of wealth, the Gladiator seemed to be doing well.

The show touched the assets of the two artistes:

Bobi Wine

  • One love Beach.
  • House in Magere.
  • Lodge in Busaabala.
  • A building in Kamwokya is under construction.
  • 3 Cars - Escalade, Land Cruiser VX, Ford Mustang.
  • Farm in Gomba with friesian cows.

Bebe Cool

  • A house in Ntinda where he stays currently.
  • 6in1 house Under Construction.
  • Another house in Jinja-under construction.
  • Cars - Hummer.

Music and Awards
The show then crossed to awards and it was revealed that Bebe Cool has more awards several nominations on top of being the Reggae Icon from the time the PAM Awards kicked off. Bebe Cool performed during the Nelson Mandela birthday sometime back. Bobi's international profile was not very clear.

Wives:
It was revealed that Barbie has also had misunderstandings in their relationship and has left Bobi's home seven times and she rushes to Zuena for advice. Zuena in turn advises her that we are married to artistes, so they are things we have to put up with.

Meanwhile, the show between Bobi and Bebe has about 20 days left to take place.

Bebe Cool Attacks the Bukedde Team
It all started when an article appeared in the Bukedde Newspaper about houses of the top three artistes in the land though of the three, Bebe Cool's was incomplete making him look the 'small size' as opposed to his trademark Big Size.

Bebe Cool had just come back from Boston last Friday after checking on his wife Zuena Kirema who is just about to give birth. The following day was the Kigeugeu Concert at Club Rouge where he performed with Jaguar.

But before he could perform, Bebe took on Bukedde by stuffing that very paper in his pants saying that, that is where it belonged. He added that he has no set time table on when to complete his house.

The stuffing of the news paper has instead gotten the Ghetto gladiator Bobi Wine opening a different can of worms.

Bobi told some of his followers that: "I saw an artiste who stuffed a news paper in his private parts and said he was goin wipe his behind with it on stage in front of a respectful crowd....for the first time,I felt ashamed of my career. Anti mulya mamba abeera omu...."

Bebe just went ahead to launch one of his latest track 'Film Star' saying that he will speak less but deliver more.

Bebe Cool reminds Bobi of the Busabaala death of the two men
It's amazing how these two do their business. Bebe Cool was busy drumming support for his upcoming Easter Shows which will take place at his Dad's Kiwatule Recreation Centre but was quick at reminding the fans that at Kiwatule Centre people don't die.

"Just don't miss the biggest Easter bash and most def Easter Monday Kiwatule where pipo don't die. I mean we pay money to make sure pipo r safe and they have fun" Bebe Cool wrote on his wall.

This prompted a question from one of his fans who asked if there was any place where people do not die from?

He was referring to some two men who were killed last year on Boxing day about a kilometre from Bobi Wine's One Love Beach. The men were guarding cars in the parking lot and making some quick bucks. It's that money that attracted the thugs and in the end two were left dead.

Just recently, Bobi Wine said that in their forthcoming Battle of the Champions show where the two will be performing on two different stages in the same venue, he will be entitled to 85% share of the proceeds from the show.

This kind of behaviour between the two has left many wondering if that show(Battle of the Champions) will be safe even if they will be performing from different stages. Another fan asked Bebe if the two will ever reconcile and this is what he had to say:

"Reconcile ma a**. Can't reconcile with irresponsible kids as in what wud I be looking for in his small mambo jambo world of *Abakalaba"

*Abakalaba: Translated as those who have just seen things...!

Bobi Demands Lions Share in Joint Concert with Bebe

The boys are back and we now take a break from the gal cat fights. We recently told of how some promoter was planning a joint concert in April for Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool.

Bobi Wine has just confirmed that to his colleagues: "Ok, let me put this straight, if Bebe Cool wants a stage battle with me, am gonna give him one but ONLY on one condition, I take 85% of the money made, if not, Anoonye bane. Yes buli omu Alina kugabana nga enfuna ye after all I will be elevating him coz he needs it and I don't."

It's not clear if Bebe Cool will settle for 15% being the Big Size he is. However, some analysts are of the view that these two are friends but just want to fool the public. Meanwhile, Barbara Kyagulanyi is already looking at a prime plot in the city suburbs with the proceeds from the joint show.

Barbie all smiles on Valentine's day as Bobi Wine planted a wet one on her cheek
Unlike Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine was well equipped on Valentine's day with his wife Barbie as they together headed to Guvnor for the 'White Carpet Valentine Ball' and while there, the two were in public display of affection.

Bobi and Bebe were at the same venue but they maintained a good distance from each other. Some revellers maintained that Barbie was all fired up throughout the night before staggering out with Omubanda to their mansion in Magere.

Meanwhile, Barbie who is to launch her first book titled 'Golden Memories of a Village Belle' that has all those hidden secrets about her while growing up will be launched next month.

Golden Memories of a Village Belle
The wife to the ghetto gladiator Bobi Wine will be launching her first book on Mar 17, 2012. 'Golden Memories of a Village Belle' is a book about Barbie while growing up and she is quick to say that the book has nothing to do with Bobi Wine.

"This is the beginning,...that is episode one. Includes just the hilarious encounters as I was growing up. I plan to continue telling the story of my life for so many years to come"

Barbie says it will be available in all major book stores like Aristoc, Supermarkets plus so many other outlets. Barbie's love to explain things is what inspired her into writing the book.

She writes during her leisure time and she says more books are in the pipeline. The book is being published by MK Publishers. Barbie wrote about the frogs in Magere and the noise they made when it started raining.

Apparently, she was trying to say that during the dry season, that noise was not heard but with the rainy season the frogs are like demanding a collabo but she deleted the posting from her wall and replaced it with a quarter of her banana plantains being knocked down by strong winds.

Barbie in 25m Deal
First Lady Barbie Kyagulanyi is into more things on top of being a wife to the Ghetto Gladiator Bobi Wine. She has a shop dealing in Range Rover spare parts, a company with models for hire and now she has signed a deal worth Shs25m with Prism Financial services.

The company that is located on Communications House is part of the PRISM Construction company and also the owners of Emin Pasha Hotel. She will also appear on billboards, Radio and TV adverts.

The grabber statement for the loans is 'Soft loans that bring back that lost smile' and surely Barbie's smile says it all.

Bebe Cool n Bobi Wine

It all started with Bobi updating his wall with this status; "
When the guys at the top look down, they only see s**t....and when the guys at the bottom look up, they only see a*******s, where are you and what do you see?"

This got in some responses like the one from Benon who interpreted the posting in terms of Bebe and the Ghetto gladiator. He said that Bobi is the one looking at s**t and Bebe Cool is looking at a***.

Bobi then revealed of how he was abused last week by Bebe Cool though he does not say where and how; "Well, he called me an a******* yesterday, but I never blamed him coz it depends on what point one is looking from"

Meanwhile, some organisers are planning a joint concert for Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine slated for mid April, but some analysts say this is not about to happen. Bebe Cool and Chameleone held a joint concert which was a success but we have to wait and see what happens in April.

               Yee Sseboo Busaabalaaaa
One Love Beach was the place to go on Boxing Day at least for those who reside along Busaabala road and the neighbouring areas. Unfortunately, two men guarding the cars for the guests were strangled by unknown assailants leaving many wondering what happened to the tight security that was advertised on the posters for the show.

It's not clear what the motive of the killers was but some are suspecting that they wanted to kill these guards and vandalise the cars in the parking lot.

Short of that, most of the advertised artistes performed though revellers were not happy with the switching off power shortly after the show and yet they had to make their way home.

Bobi Wine though quiet about the death of the guys who were discovered by the bush side of the beach was happy with the show at least from his wall posting; "Banange, it was fabulous at One Love beach yesterday, you guys came out in crazy numbers...kyaba too good,as for you Maama Wabaana, amazzi ga'kawunga abaana baganaabe oba mugayiwe."

Juliana and the PAM Awards chairman Isaac Mulindwa at the launch of the Awards in Kampala
Last Saturday all roads led to UMA show grounds which was the venue for the 9th PAM Awards. The function kicked off at about 6:00pm and ended a few minutes past 1:00am on Sunday. Gold tickets were going for Shs 200,000 bronze tickets Shs120,000 and the bona balabe or regular was going for Shs 30,000.

At the end of the event Iryn Namubiru emerged as the PAM Awards Artiste of the year 2011. Bebe Cool was one of the top artistes who graced the event but we now bring you some of the top artistes who snubbed the event.

Jose Chameleone - Nominated in three categories but only got Best Afro Beat/Artiste Group but did not bother attending like he has done for the last so many years. That has not stopped him from releasing non stop hits. The other award he also got was the one that Bebe Cool dedicated to Jose, Bobi Wine and the Goodlyfe boys for having snubbed the function.

Moze Radio and Weasel - They took the award of the Best Afro Beat courtesy of their Talk n Talk song. After minutes of waiting and confirming that they were not around, Straka swung into action by saying "Wabula Agayaaye ago tegawoneka" meaning that not even an award would convince them to attend. They however attended last year and during the final PAM Awards bash they were present.

Peter Miles - The Oja star also self proclaimed king of dance hall did not show up despite being nominated in the category of Best Ragga Artiste.
Desire Luzinda - Curvy Desire Luzinda was not any where close to the PAM Awards venue. It's like the second tie in a row when she is not being nominated in any category

Juliana - It is not clear what happened to the PAM Awards 2008 artiste of the year and the first female artiste to kiss the main accolade. During the bash that launched the PAM Awards at Club Le Beaujolais, Juliana attended the function sending a clear message that she was on the same page with the organizers but wappi, she was nowhere to be seen. She is in the country because a few days back she was performing with Kenny Lattimore at the Qatar Airways Launch.

Bobi Wine - The last time he sent his wife as he claimed that he was performing at a different function, but from the time Barbie graced the event and came back empty handed even after the husband had been nominated in several categories, the two have vowed never to come close to the awards. This is what happened on Nov.5.2011 as Bobi and Barbie were nowhere to be seen. Bobi Wine's ?Matyansi Butyampa's video lost to ex Blu3's Jackie Chandiru's 'Agassi'

Bobi Wine and Barbie at Rubaga Church
Rubaga Cathedral was action packed as the Ghetto Gladiator and his wife who is now officially Barbara Kyagulanyi arrived for the wedding mass that was presided over by Archbishop Cyprian K. Lwanga.

The arch bishop thanked them for the bold move and appealed to other young people to emulate them. "What you have done; to come and get married in church, shows that you understand your religion and love it because many people knew you as bayaga (weed smokers). "

The Queen of Buganda, Sylvia Nagginda, Prince Junjju and Prince Wasajja were among those present. Jose Chameleone who converted to Islam recently and then back slid was also present though he did not go for holy communion as he is still under going training to be re-admitted to the Catholic church.

Jose Chameleone came with his wife Daniella. Bobi and Barbie left in a horse carriage for a photo shoot as fans cheered them all the way. They later joined other guests at Kampala Serena Hotel.

Bobi's photo in compared to the tattoo
The Ghetto first lady has made headlines after she underwent a painful needle to have Bobi's pic on her back a sign to show undying love for the Ghetto gladiator. The two will be having their wedding soon and for Barbie, this is a clear manifestation of 'till death do us apart.'

However, a close scrutiny of the photo from which the tattoo artist used to come up with the permanent tattoo on Barbie's back clearly shows that the two guys are different. It's only after the photo and the tattoo are put together that the idea of Bobi comes into context, however, those who know Bobi so well would be quick at telling you that the person on Barbie's back is not Bobi.

The tattoo falling short of looking like Bobi exactly does not change the way Barbie feels about her Ghetto president and bearing the pain to have that gigantic tattoo is in itself a bold move on Barbie's part.

Meanwhile, what disturbed some of their fans was that after Barbie had decorated her back with Bobi's portrait, he retaliated with a very small tattoo of a totally different thing.

Barbie displaying Bobi Wine's tattoo on her back
Barbie is in pain after putting a Bobi Wine tattoo on her back that took her 16 hours. She was sighted at Bukoto based Family Clinic where she had taken her daughter for a check up. Barbie used the opportunity todemand for pain killers for the tattoo that had become hell for her.

According to Barbie, the tattoo that cost her 4mn shillings was done for the ghetto president in appreciation of the forthcoming wedding. On top of Bobi's photo, the word 'Forever' was added implying that she is Bobi Wine's forever. They started on it on Monday and completed on Tuesday.

The tattoo was too big that it shocked Bobi Wine. He decided to rush to the studio where he did two tattoos, one on his chest and the other on his hand

Bobi Wione and family getting ready for the Saturday game between Uganda and Guinea Bissau
Friday is Martyrs day followed by the Saturday match between Uganda and Guinea Bissau and both functions attract large numbers in terms of human traffic. This is an opportunity for business around Kireka, Bweyogerere and Namugongo areas.

Beer, roasted meat, sports jersey like what the ghetto president and family are donning will be on sale for the Saturday match between Uganda and Guinea Bissau and should Uganda win, then you can be sure all beer selling points in areas around Nambole will run dry.

Vuvuzela's being blown in support of the Uganda Cranes will be on sale, transport to Namboole will certainly be hiked irrespective of wether it will be by boda boda's or commuter taxis.

Hotels around these areas and lodges must be filled to capacity by now and in case of any accommodation in the Nakawa-Kireka stretch, then you pay through the nose.

Bebe Cool has promised not to hit back at Bobi after the Kataala track but with the last video attack and now his latest statement in the City Beat Magazine, the dust is not about to cool between these two.

In the Beat Magazine, Bebe says:  "how do you wake up one morning and put your wife in a hardware container, which money is that? Do you know how expensive it is to maintain Zuena when she is not doing anything? This is my house (in Ntinda) I bought from my uncle. How does someone with a piece of land in Magele claim that he is so rich? are u mad?"

It should be noted that Bobi Wine's wife Barbie has a container shop in Bukoto where she occupies herself after dropping the kids at school in her gold coloured range rover same model as Bebe Cool's.

This could be a direct retaliation to a line in the Kataala song in which Bobi blames a husband who decides to perform with the wife on all concert tours as opposed to staying at home and taking care of the home chores.

Henry Tigan was arrested early in the week for failing to pay a debt. It is alleged that Henry Tigan sold the car to Kaspat Kasule and then later to Bobi Wine. On that day, Tigan had a show and demanded to have the car until the show was over. Kaspat was sold the car at 4.5m and later after the show Bobi Wine bought the very car at 7.5m

Kaspat has been pursuing Henry Tigan but to no avail until when he was arrested. An agreement has been reached in which 6million shillings will be given to Kaspat in three instalments within a month to compensate the loss.

Henry Tigan still stands his ground that he has never sold any car to Kaspat DJ clearly bringing in another person who happens to be Suudi who was then Tigan's boss. The car is in Tigan's names but it looks like it was sold by some other person without the notice if Tigan. It later turned out that Tigan wanted to do away with teh car and also sold it to acquire a premio.

But the good news is, Tigan has been bailed out by the Ghetto president and Kaspat will be settled in 2 instalments of 2.5 and 1 million. Big Up Bobi Wine!

Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool
Sunday Night was a night mare for Singer Bebe Cool. There was an annual Kitobero fete at Nakivubo Stadium of which Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine were among those to perform. Bebe Cool had just finished performing and was making his way down the stairs. Bobi Wine blocked Bebe Cool's way according to the Monitor Newspaper.

The two artists were involved in a bitter exchange of words before Bobi Wine took a violent step and started pouncing blows on Bebe Cool's stomach and chest. Bebe Cool pushed Bobi Wine as a way fo defending himself. This is when other members of the fire base crew jumped on to Bobi Wine and  beat him unconscious.

Sympathizers helped Bebe Cool to the nearest clinic where he was diagnosed with a fractured leg among other injuries. He later reported to Old Kampala Police and recorded a statement against the Ghetto President.

Yesterday Bobi Wine appeared in court but the case was adjourned to June 24. Looking at what Bebe Cool is going through as a result of the trauma from his runaway wife Zuena, fights like these should be the last thing on his agenda and the Ghetto President ought to know that.

Friday, March 06 2009

Bebe Cool has made news for a greater part of this year ranging from his marital issues and financial problems. However the untold story behind all this is the Hummer which has been his dream car for the last three years which seems to be on its way to Kampala.

Jose Chameleone has just brought in a Cadillac Escalade a model 2004, after Bobi Wine's had been around for sometime though he has opted on donating it after Chameleone had emulated him.

Bebe Cool's Range Rover could be somewhere attached as collateral but yes he had better things to spend his money on other than paying debts and now you should wonder no more what is it that he was spending his money on. It appears he has settled the hummer and what remains to be cleared are the taxes and the number plate.

The Range Rover has a BAFFUDDE number plate so AGENZE or ZUENA could be the number plate for the hummer yet to hit Kampala roads.

The Ghetto President has put his Cadillac Escalade on sale through auction and the proceeds will go to the Owino market victims. Supposing the car does not fetch any money for reasons related to the credit crunch, this could as well imply that the Ghetto President has donated nothing.

Meanwhile Jose Chameleone had given cash worth US$ 250 and a pledge of 7,000,000/- which is to be realized on Sunday (01-Mar.2009) during the Mbuutu Yembutukizi at Nakivubo. This has forced the Ghetto President, Bobi Wine to retaliate with a briefcase with cash not a pledge of 10,000,000/- which he gave to the traders.

While the Ghetto President is just giving away the Cadillac free of charge to the traders that is if someone volunteers to take it at the agreed price, Chameleone has just imported the same car but a better model. You can now read between the lines..Chameleone was trying to emulate Bobi in cruising a luxurious SUV but the President has said no, and he is instead donating it opting for a customized chopper.
