The Gold Digger singer, Jackie Chandiru, will be flown to UK very soon for further treatment according to family sources. Her ex Dutch lover Nol Van Vliet will offer some assistance in this regard. Jackie and Nol exchanged vows but before they could celebrate their first wedding anniversary, things had long turned topsy-turvy. It’s said that Nol is the one who introduced her to serious drugs and on taking them, they could end up in serious sessions leaving her disappointed. Matters were made worse when she tried to join him in Netherlands; it was then that she was told her marriage to Nol was a sham marriage. British musician, Amy Winehouse, died in 2011 as a result of alcohol addiction. She turned to drugs due to stress and her sad story. Whitney Houston, the most awarded female artist of all time according to the Guinness World records was in and out of rehab, she passed away in 2012 allegedly as a result of her addiction. Bobby Brown has been arrested on several occasions, he blames his cocaine addiction on ex-wife, Whitney Houston. In the 1980's, Elton John was a drug addict, but he was able to come HIV-negative and he regrets the act, he now runs the Elton John AIDS foundation. Michael Jackson died in 2009 following years of suffering with prescription drug abuse.

For quite some time, Jackie Chandiru’s landlord has been lenient with her and this being a business, he was left with no choice but to throw her out of the house to pave way for other tenants. Jackie has been battling with drug addiction issues in the last few months. First, she was in Mulago hospital but was later transferred to a rehabilitation centre along Entebbe-Kampala road in Kisubi for close supervision and monitoring now that she was not taking her medication as instructed. At the time of eviction, Jackie’s relatives were the one's staying in the house; they had to clear all the outstanding dues before they were allowed to take the households. Meanwhile, police is holding a one Bob Mugarura who gave the singer some drugs as they shifted. As Chandiru was moving to a new house on being evicted, she used some of the drugs that were delivered, the Agassi singer blacked out shortly after. It's then that those around her alerted authorities to investigate Bob's dealings further. Jackie Chandiru was part of the Blu3 all girl group, Cindy and Lilian Mbabazi are the other two ex-members. Jackie dated city lawyer, Caleb Alaka, a relationship which saw her have a series of fights with the lawyer's wife to the point of composing the Gold Digger song, she then dated a Dutch lover who quickly walked her down the aisle, but it turned out the man had other women. The other ex-Blu3 gals have equally had their share of drama. Cindy walked out of a 10-year-old relationship after her boo failed to put a ring on it, she immediately displaced Phina Masanyalaze to get exclusive rights to Ken Muyiisa, it did not last either. On the other hand, Lilian Mbabazi is back on the shelf after things did not work out with the now bald headed singer, Moze Radio, they have two children together.

The Still Standing singer, Cinderella Sanyu, aka Cindy has paid tribute to her former music group, Blu*3. It was an all girl group comprising of three female artists namely; Cindy, Lilian Mbabazi who is signed to Dueces Entertainment Group and Jackie Chandiru. The latter seems not to be well though her manager insists, She is Fine - Jackie Chandiru's manager "Morning. God bless these ladies. Things may have not worked out for us as Blu*3 but I will never forget and will always treasure the memories," Cindy wrote on her wall. Their group name, Blu*3, was derived from Black Ladies of Uganda after winning the Coca Cola pop stars TV competition way back in 2004. They split four years later. They were arguably the best girl group in the country at the time. "Teamcindycate, never forget where you came from," Cindy added. "If you recall your past, then your future is visible, no illuminatism in that. Big Up sis," One fan wrote. When Cindy left the group, she was replaced with Mya who happens to be the light skinned in the pic below.

The Singa Nali Musaja singer was rushed to a medical facility yesterday on reports that both hands were paralyzed, they broke into the house to come to her rescue. However, her manager, Julie Erusa, says that the queen of the nile is okay though the fans insist that she makes a post to clear the space. "On behalf of Jackie Jackie Chandiru, we would like to thank you all for your concerns and prayers. But Jackie is fine. She is not paralyzed and neither did Balaam Barugahara have to get kanyamas to break into her house. Thank you for your prayers and keep supporting Jackie Chandiru." Jackie Chandiru, 31, is a former member of the Blu*3 all girl group that first comprised of Cindy Ssanyu, Lillian Mbabazi and Jackie but later, Cindy broke off only to be replaced by Mya as seen in the pic below..
On the other hand, Jackie Chandiru surprised many when she invited close friends to her 'secret' wedding with Dutch husband, Nol Van Vliet but according to one publication, all does not seem well. Short of that, Jackie has been battling with a heart problem and was contemplating to go for further treatment. It's said that the problem became worse when she hit the rocks with ex-lover and city lawyer, Caleb but on meeting Nol Van later, those tears were wiped. It looks like her relationship with the Dutch hubby is not working out, but that is a developing story.

Our very own Cindy and Nigeria's Davido will be among the artistes to perform at the Amahoro Stadium today as Rwanda celebrates 20 years of Liberation. The function will be live on NTV Uganda starting mid-day. The concert which is free aims at highlighting the achievements in Rwanda for the past 20 years. Cindy's fans in Rwanda were worried that she could not make it after her passport was confiscated in Lumbubashi, Congo where she had gone for a performance. While there, Cindy tweeted; "Just did my nails and lashes. Almost ready to blaze it up in Lumbubashi." Unfortunately, the fans in Lumbubashi were not blazed as the organizers postponed the show and even retained Cindy's passport and yet the Ayokyayokya singer was supposed to be in Rwanda at the time. It took the intervention of the Ugandan Embassy in Kinshasa to have her passport back. It's A Baby Girl Former Blu3 singer, Lillian Mbabazi, who is one of the artists behind the Coca-Cola official FIFA world cup theme song (The World Is Ours-Africa version) has given birth to a bouncing baby girl. Her last public appearance was on Women's day when she performed alongside Nyanda of the Slippery When Wet fame together with other top female singers that include; Sheebah, Fille and Irene Ntale among others. This will be Lillian's second child with Moze Radio who has been battling with lots of issues lately. He is yet to comment on his latest bundle of joy.

Using her facebook profile, Cindy wrote a direct stinger to the Bampasude singer, Phina Mugerwa who she claims was on TV telling the world how she (Cindy) is a home wrecker. Phina accuses Cindy of stealing her man, and, in her defence, Cindy says she has never been accused of stealing any man for the last 10 years. Ex-Blu3 singer, Lillian Mbabazi is heavy with her second child. The latest spotting was during the women's day celebrations at Garden City Rooftop yesterday. Snoops were over heard saying that Moze Radio had planted another live seed. Lillian was among the female artistes that performed at the Airtel Inspiring Women Concert where she did some of her hit songs that include: 'Dagala', 'Danger' and 'Vitamin' which she did with her baby daddy and Weasel. Cindy Live in the Amateeka Concert Cindy was fired from the Blu3 gal group a few years back something that helped her to be the star she is today. Silk Events is using their latest equipment to ensure that the stage and sound are awesome. This being her first concert, Cindy believes that her fans have mastered her songs like 'Amateeka', 'Mbikooye', 'Total Satisfaction', 'Love' among others and will be able to sing along. Most of the Proceeds from the show will be channelled to Hands for Hope charity, a not for profit organisation which reminds Cindy of her own upbringing. Cindy is engaged to Mario and together they are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Amani. Today will also mark the first big collaboration with the other Blu-3 members Jackie and Lillian implying that they will form now on be working on a number of projects as a team though they are comfortable where they are pursuing their solo careers. City Diva Jackie Chandiru is still the talk of the town in Arua after her performance that marked the end of a five day football league in Arua Hill Boma Grounds. Three months back, the ''Gold Digger' star was in Arua-(Hill View Gardens) at an event that was organised by Sky Events and Uganda Breweries Ltd clad in a gold short outfit that revealed her black undie. Jackie's fans who graced the previous show made it a point not to miss this one and indeed, Jackie did not disappoint. In the song, Jackie sings that don't call his phone because he is busy with another gal and that gal is me...! Alaka's former wife of three Linda Namuli gave her side of the story and so was Jackie and as expected, the two were looking at having the city lawyer all to themselves. Linda told the Kampala Sun that: ''Alaka is currently going through a terrible patch in his life; he requires special prayers to fix his wretched life. She reveals that Alaka has since had a change of heart and actually pleaded that they patch things up and live like husband and wife once again." She added that: ''Im not going to lie - My husband is battling some demons. He is troubled and I'm afraid I cannot solve all his problems at the moment. However, as a father to my children, I'm willing to accept him back." On the other hand, Jackie told the same newspaper that she wonders what Linda wants and why she goes that far by asking people to call her and make threatening statements, Alaka walked out of her life after he found her cheating on him. His first born is Kampala, and the second one is Nairobi. Their latest was given the Shilling name may after running out of cities that they could embrace. Juliana Kanyomozi - For the lady musicians it has been nice and polite. Juliana's son with her ex is called Keron Lukwago. Cindy - The former Blu3 member had 3 items on her agenda last year and one was to give birth, launch an album and have Mario put a ring on her finger. It is from this that some will borrow a leaf from stars like Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone who are married to very simple ladies and even the likes of Ivan and Zari had to take eleven years before their introduction last year. We recently told of how the Blu3 members were reuniting and were to tour the world after recording some tracks. However, this excitement of the once powerful East African gal group reuniting is paying off as the gals are already off for an Easter tour in Europe. Jackie and Cindy were last week performing at Club Rouge on the same stage confirming that the gals are back. Lillian further confirmed the reuniting news to some snoops.."Yes it is true we are reuniting but I don't have details yet. Jackie, Cindy and I are going to work on an album and are planning tours." It's understandable Lillian has no details and may be still getting to terms with how to juggle with her band, The Sundowners, her job at Radiocity, 'breast feeding mom' and also dealing with Moze Radio's other demands. Just recently we told of how the Blu3 were reuniting and were about to hit stage anytime soon and also tour other countries as the original Blu3 gals(Cindy, Lillian and Jackie Chandiru). Steve Jean is the very man behind the move just like in the case of Blu3. The two groups will be performing for the first time next month during the Coco Finger Print Concert. The original members of Dream Galz are Leila Kayondo, Renah Nalumansi and Anita Tushabe. Just like the Blu3 came back together as the original three leaving out Mya who replaced Cindy after she left the group, The Dream Galz are also likely to reunite without Anita Katushabe who has been in Malaysia since they broke up. Talking to one of our snoops, Leila had ruled out the issue of reuniting as a group though she also added they were still friends. There is quite a lot of money behind these reunions that the Galz see no reason for labouring so hard under flying solo when there is free money in reuniting. Now latest information before us is that the original Blu3 gals are in closed door talks brokered by their first manager Steve Jean of Fenon Records to reunite. This will certainly come as good news to their fans. Cindy who was fired in 2008, Lillian and Jackie will once gain record songs together and perform on the same stage and later go on a world tour according to Steve Jean. When Cindy left, she was replaced by Mya Baganda who later gave birth. Lillian on the other hand is rumoured to be be pregnant with Moze Radio's second kid while Jackie has been in the news lately for having 'snatched' a city lawyer, Caleb Alaka from Namuli, a mother of three, will continue pursuing their solo careers but also working together as BLU3. Cindy has some very good tracks like 'Party' under her solo career together with a baby gal with boyfriend Mario who was widely believed to be the reason she was expelled from the group. On the other hand, Jackie's 'Gold Digger' will have a longer shelf life. Lillian has been busy with her live band the Sundowners band, a presenter at Radio City, a mother and a musician, quite not sure how she will juggle all that once the Blu3 reunite project kicks off. Now the latest info before us is that former Blu3 member Lillian of the Vitamin fame is expecting her second child from fellow artiste Moze Radio. Lillian has secured a visa to work in the US for at least 2 years, implying that if she left within the five months she is left with to drop the tot, the child could be a US citizen. Much as BLU meant Black Ladies from Uganda who were three back then, it could still rhyme with colour blue which was the colour of the dress she put on during the 9th PAM Awards that were held on 5.Nov.2011. Cindy left Blu3 in the year 2008 and was replaced by former Kombat dancer Mya who was more into dancing than music. Blu3 Singer and Dancer Mya has given birth to a bouncing baby boy. Mya gave birth on Tuesday at Nakasero Hospital. Tabloids had widely predicted that she would give birth in December but that time line was missed by only days as we are only two weeks in the new year.
She is the second Blu3 member to give birth in the last couple of months after Lilian gave birth to a bay boy. We only hope Mya will not resume work days after this like Lillian did. The new year has started on a good note. Ragga Dee is also an uncle after his sister Prossy Patra who is also a presenter on Dembe FM gave birth. Way to go Galz!!! Thursday, June 17 2010
Former Blu3 Member Jackie Chandiru has kicked off with her solo career and admits life is a lot harder when you go solo than when they were still a group because then most of the things come easy like playing their music, and performing in general.
Jackie says it is not easy for Radio Stations and TVs to play her music like they used to when they were still the Black Ladies from Uganda (Blu3) which was formed way back in 2002. The Blu3 group is famous for hits like Hitaji, Burn which won the PAM Awards Video of the Year and their last Album ''Be Free'' in which they brought in DJ Benny Dee for its launch. The Be Free album has tracks like ''Where You are'' which they did with the Goodlyfe Crew. Jackie's latest single 'Agassi' meaning "I have refused" is receiving massive airplay. As a solo artiste, Jackie says she is going to try out all genres to be able to discover her potential. She is responsible for her own lyrics and derives her inspiration from personal experiences which include a mixture of happy moments and sad moments. As part of her solo project, she has done 'Going On' with Dr. Jose Chameleone and she has also not forgotten where she came from. I-Jay - A decade back Juliana and Iryn were together but that is not the case anymore because the two artistes can now be identified by their solo careers and have done a number of albums and hits in the process. Blu3 - Started off as Blu*3 as they were the Coca Cola stars back then, later removed the star to remain the 3 Black Ladies of Uganda who were Cindy, Lillian and Jackie. Cindy has long left the group to pursue a solo career. Unconfirmed reports are doing rounds that Lillian could leave the group too now that she has even done a collabo with the 'Mukyamu' star Rabadaba without the other members. Obsessions - First it was a boys and girls group before becoming a five member girls group doing music. 'Jangu' is one of the best hits they did as they were still a group of five before Hellen Lukomwa and Brenda Nambi broke off forming HB Toxic leaving Sharon Salmon, the Obsessions lead singer and girl friend to Ronnie Mulindwa. The latest we are getting is that the group has now two members; Sharon and Jackie Tumusiime after Shebah Karungi was fired. Dream Galz - Leila, Rena and Anita are the members of the now defunct Dream Galz. The group was started in 2003 and since then they have had tracks like 'Wandekangawo'. they are now pursuing solo careers with Rena having done a collabo with Dr. Chameleone and Henry Tigan. She has also joined Suudi Entertainment. Wafagio - The new Wafagio comprises of new members indeed after the old group left to form Krystal Babes as seen below. The new members are Linda Mbabazi, Edith Mutunyi, Aggie Ayebare and Sheila Sempebwa. Krystal Babes - Formerly Wafagio and Now Krystal Babes have made news in the past months. The group part ways with their manager Emma Carlos and moved on but the two are still locking horns over who owns the rights to tracks like 'Mukidongo' which is being performed by both groups. Chilli Galz - Known for their latest hit 'Omulungi Yoono'- Former Chilli galz Daisy Kayondo has kicked off with her solo career and she has already released her first single, Love Tojipula featuring Mickie Wine.
