Nina Nyanuak, the woman at the centre of the Guvnor fight
Nina Nyanuak, the woman at the centre of the Guvnor brawl has showed off injuries that she sustained in the fight that left her ex lover and father to her child, Johnnie Ahimbisibwe, bleed to death.

Nina who has since been released on police bond to seek further medical treatment is nursing serious injuries on the right eye and the forehead. Those who know Ivan Kamyuka are not surprised with what happened because mere ogling at his lover is enough to get you a good beating from this muscle man.

Throwing a glass at his girl friend was enough to spark the anger in him, unfortunately, he ended the life of the other.  Nina was not able to go for burial but was in Nakawa this evening following proceedings as his husband was remanded to Luzira for murder.

Johnnie was buried on Tuesday afternoon at his ancestral home in Ibanda where he constructed a house for his mother. The Mayor of Mbarara told the youth to behave more responsibly. Michael Aheebwa, one of the brothers told mourners of how Johnnie had arranged for a family meeting this August to prepare for his wedding that was bound to take place not long from now.

Kamyuka will appear in the High Court on August 18, 2015.

Nina and Ivan during the happy times
Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga, has said that investigations into the Johnnie murder case are moving smoothly and this week, Ivan Kamyuka will be produced in court on murder charges.

Based on the CCTV footage that Guvnor submitted to the police and what Ivan and Nina wrote in their statement, it has made work very easy for the authorities to prefer murder charges against Ivan Kamyuka.

Ivan Kamuyuka says that the deceased saw them chilling out in one of the booths and came straight to them and started hurling insults, Nina did not say a word, it was then that Johnnie threw the glass to Ivan but it missed him and instead, hit Nina.

"As a man, I had to defend my wife, I picked up the broken glass and hit Johnnie with it, " Ivan noted in his statement. Other clubs are now advised to emulate Guvnor in installing CCTV's because this footage has made it easy for the detectives.

Meanwhile, Ivan has deactivated his facebook profile..In the pic above, Ivan and Nina are seen having a nice time. Ivan was Johnnie's best friend at the time when Johnnie and Nina were still very close while living in Sweden. Like in any other relationship, Johnnie and Nina got problems, he was deported for domestic violence.

Johnnie was able to establish himself while in Uganda something that made Nina want to get back with him but it was too late. Nina had now become very close to Ivan, they even wedded in church as part of the plan to have Ivan join Nina in Sweden where they could live as husband and wife.

Johnie is survived by two children, one was living with him and the other with his mom in Sweden. He will be laid to rest today in Ibanda, Western Uganda.

Johnnie was stabbed at Guvnor on Sunday morning

The man who stabbed Johnnie at Guvnor on Sunday morning has been arrested alongside with his girl friend Nina who happens to be Johnnie's ex.

Johnie Ahimbisibwe and Nina were leaving together as a couple in Sweden, they also have a child but they developed misunderstandings that led to Johnnie's deportation from Sweden. Nina stayed with Johnnie's child, they've been having issues over child custody rights. On returning to Kampala, Johnnie was able to get back to his feet and establish himself in the garments business.

Nina came to Kampala only to find that Johnnie was doing so well, so she wanted to get back with him but unfortunately for her, Johnnie had moved onto a new relationship. Nina soon devised other means, she decided to start dating Johnnie's best friend, Ivan Diesel Kalyesubula.

Nina and Ivan took their love to another level, they were wedded in church and following this move, Nina told her son to refer to Ivan as his dad and not Johnnie, something that has been troubling Johnnie all along as revealed in his birthday message to his son on May 20.

Johnnie's birthday message to son

On the fateful night, Ivan and Nina were at Guvnor and it so happened that Johnnie was also hanging out at the same spot, so they (Ivan and Nina) went to Johnnie for some discussion, most likely about their child, but soon things went out of hand.

It's said that Johnnie retaliated with hash words that forced Nina to slap him, at the time time, Johnnie was drinking from a glass that he threw at her, Ivan picked up one of the glass fragments that he used to hit at Johnnie's neck, he bled profusely. The club's management rushed him to Case clinic but was pronounced dead moments later.

Johnnie will be buried tomorrow in Ibanda while Nina and Ivan are in custody as the investigations in the case go on.

The girls who were beaten at Wink Bar

Three girls are nursing serious but not life-threatening injuries after a severe beating at a bar located on Acacia avenue in Kampala.

The incident happened on Saturday when six girls went for a girl's night out at Wink Bar but the night turned into a nightmare when what was supposed to be a fun moment left them with cane-marks on their arms and thighs.

"We tried explaining to security that our sister is above 18 and trying to show them an ID, but they did not want to listen, instead, a boda boda guy at that stage got a branch from a tree around that area and handed it to the security that forcefully let us out beating all of us. One of the girls was really hurt on the arm, another on the thigh then the other on finger," Vanessah Lipswizy (facebook avatar) wrote.

Wink Bar has responded to the incident with a CCTV backup and in their response they say, it's a false allegation after they reviewed the CCTV footage and also interviewed the guards who were on duty that night.

"Five girls came to Wink premises at about 2 am in the morning, four were allowed in and one denied entry because of being under age. The girls became unruly and abusive towards security. One of them picked a brick and tried to attack the policeman who was at the gate and she was chased down the road."

"Non of our staff got involved in running after her and non of our staff beat up any of the girls. We are consulting our lawyers with a view to taking legal action against whoever is involved in tarnishing our name with these malicious lies," A source from the Wink Bar Restaurant and Lodge said in a statement.

Sharon O's has worked on the floor that was uncomfortable for customers
High-heeled guests at Sharon O's Blu-Ice Bar in Naalya now have a reason to smile.

Female guests at the bar have been walking with difficulty because of the very many stones on the floor of the bar that opened last November.

Sharon O was pretty much aware of that and has been working round the clock to have that sorted, but, she was also in a hurry to launch before the festive season. "My baby is growing. Thank you so much for the support. Your comfort is our first priority. Blu-Ice bar floor is under construction, shout out to my gals, I know how destructive it has been."

Some of the lady customers had gotten into a habit of moving with spare shoes that they could use while at the bar or some had just stopped wearing heels at all if they were to go to Blu-Ice Bar which Sharon runs jointly with Ronnie Mulindwa, the father to her son, Lisbon.

Ronnie did actually conduct the recruitment of the Blu-Ice bar gals and some of the qualifications were; they had to be prepared to put on high heels for at least 8 hours, had to be cute, eloquent, smart and in shape.

The police has turned to drunk-walking pedestrians
Kampala Metropolitan Traffic Commander Lawrence Nuwabine revealed yesterday that pedestrians who walk while drunk are also contributing to the increased numbers of road accidents as they tend to bump into racing cars that end up crashing them to death.

The charges for those caught walking while drunk are still being discussed but one thing is for sure, one will be detained up to the time they sober up.

As police was carrying out the drink-drive operation, motorists who were high on the bitter could end up parking their cars and resort to staggering home as they uttered drink-drive jargons like 'Kido', 'Kawunyemu' and 'Kafuwemu' among others while alerting their colleagues. Officers who were carrying out the exercise were in the confusion being engaged more by these walk-drunk pedestrians who were busy pleading for the release of their pals.

This operation is normally done in the night when a relatively smooth flow of traffic is expected, but once a driver detects the slightest jam possible, they resort to taking alternative routes. In event that It's a one way or no alternative routes to the point leading to the 'KIDO', these are the guys who park and resort to walking after all the operation is meant for those drunk behind the wheels and not those walking with a 'swag' home.

Police has now turned the heat on pedestrians as confirmed by the Traffic commander: "I am telling you, we are not joking about this matter, whoever will be got drunk while walking will strictly be taken to the cells."

Business Opportunity - This same operation has brought in a few innovations, businesses and network affiliations. There's a a company already advertising for those who may require a driver just in case they are stuck or caught up in similar situations and their charge is 20-30k depending on the location. Night watchmen at Petrol stations and other residential areas are making a killing through guarding cars left behind by drunkos.

Some night spots have even been forced to include chauffer services to their VIP customers as a way of keeping them on board.
