Pressure is mounting on Manchester United manager Michael Carrick following a disappointing 2-0 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The latest setback has intensified scrutiny on the club’s leadership and technical team as results continue to fall below expectations.

Earlier, the United board had decided to stick with Carrick for the high-profile clash against Chelsea, despite a morale-dentting 3-0 home defeat that had already raised concerns among supporters and pundits alike. That gamble, however, failed to yield the desired response on the pitch.

With the team struggling to find consistency in domestic competition, the hierarchy at Old Trafford faces crucial decisions regarding the immediate future of the coaching staff. Fans are increasingly vocal about the direction of the club as key fixtures approach rapidly.
