Masindi District has marked significant milestones in environmental conservation, asset protection, and poverty alleviation over the past financial year. During a council session at the district headquarters, District Chairperson Patrick Wobusobozi presented the State of the District Address, showcasing major achievements in resource management and wealth creation.

According to the report, the district successfully restored 4,250 hectares of degraded land in collaboration with local communities. The initiative aims to combat wetland degradation and promote sustainable natural resource use to protect the environment for future generations. Additionally, the district secured 15 official government land titles, a crucial step in safeguarding public assets from encroachment and mitigating ongoing land disputes.
