Inside the NRM CEC Meeting: What We Know So Far

Behind the closed doors of State House in Entebbe, the National Resistance Movement’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) convened to deliberate on several critical national and party issues. As the top decision-making organ of Uganda’s ruling party, the meeting touched on matters ranging from the January General Election to broader national development.

According to NRM Deputy Secretary General Ms Rosemary Namayanja, the high-level discussions covered the ongoing construction of the party’s headquarters, known as the NRM House.

Additionally, the committee evaluated the party’s performance across various recent electoral fronts, including the presidential, village, and women council elections. Leaders also strategized on effective ways to implement the party manifesto moving forward.
