Fleetwood Town Awaits Everton or Newcastle in Carabao Cup Quarter-Finals

League Two side Fleetwood Town have secured a thrilling spot in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup and will play host to either Everton or Newcastle United at Highbury. As the lowest-ranked team remaining in the tournament, Fleetwood made history after pulling off a stunning upset against Premier League champions Arsenal via a penalty shootout.

The final opponent for Fleetwood will be decided when Everton face Newcastle United in their fourth-round clash. Meanwhile, reigning holders Manchester City are set to welcome League One outfit Bradford City to the Etihad Stadium. Bradford advanced to the last eight after prevailing over Brighton on penalties.

The remaining quarter-final matchups feature all-Premier League encounters. Liverpool, who similarly needed penalties to overcome Chelsea, are scheduled to host Bournemouth. Additionally, Crystal Palace will go head-to-head with Sunderland at Selhurst Park.

Football fans can look forward to the upcoming quarter-final fixtures, which are scheduled to take place during the week commencing December 14.
