Sam Ssimbwa Secures Winning Return as Villa and Express Stutter

The Ugandan domestic football scene witnessed dramatic twists recently, highlighted by Sam Ssimbwa’s triumphant return to the dugout. Ssimbwa marked his comeback with URA, securing a hard-fought victory that relied on a decisive own goal from Denis Sekitoleko to get the job done.

While Ssimbwa celebrated a successful return to coaching action, other traditional heavyweights struggled to find their rhythm. Both SC Villa and Express FC experienced stuttering performances, failing to stamp their authority in their respective fixtures and leaving fans concerned about consistency as the season progresses.

As the league table begins to take shape, tactical adjustments and squad depth will undoubtedly play critical roles. Managers under pressure, including those at Villa and Express, will need to quickly address their offensive and defensive frailties to keep pace with the early front-runners.
