Progress on the long-awaited Akii-Bua Stadium project is moving forward rapidly, with current estimates showing the construction is roughly 85 percent complete. Sports enthusiasts and regional leaders have closely monitored the development, which is expected to significantly boost sports infrastructure in the area.

Designed to serve as a modern multi-purpose facility, the complex boasts a main stadium engineered to accommodate a seating capacity of 20,000 spectators. This capacity positions the venue well to host major national and regional sporting events once fully operational.

Project supervisors and contractors are working diligently to meet the upcoming deadlines. If current projections hold steady, the final construction phases will wrap up soon, paving the way for an official handover ceremony in January.
