King Michael Advises Kid Fox to Rebuild Music Career Through Quality Music, Not Confrontation

Dancehall singer King Michael has offered candid advice to fellow artist Kid Fox, urging him to reconsider his approach to re-establishing his presence in the Ugandan music industry. Kid Fox, recently returned to Uganda after an extended period abroad, has reportedly been resorting to public criticism of other musicians in an apparent bid to regain attention.

King Michael believes this strategy of confrontation is unlikely to yield long-term success. He suggested that while Kid Fox might be using controversy as a shortcut, the ultimate key to reconnecting with audiences and rebuilding his career lies in the quality of his music. “If Kid Fox, after all the years he spent working abroad after his music retirement, returned with such rowdy tactics, it’s up to him. But that’s not an easy path. I’m not certain he will achieve his goals that way,” King Michael remarked.

The veteran artist also emphasized the importance of gratitude and respect towards musicians who have consistently worked to keep the Ugandan music scene vibrant during Kid Fox’s absence. He pointed out that many artists have persevered and new talent has emerged, effectively maintaining the industry’s momentum. “He should rather be grateful and respectful to the artistes that have lasted the test of time and those others that sprung up after he left because they preserved the industry for him. That train is long gone,” King Michael stated.

King Michael’s core message to Kid Fox is to prioritize artistic output over feuds. “Let him concentrate on doing good music rather than attacking fellow artists. I don’t see him performing anywhere; it’s still us on those billboards,” he concluded, stressing that tangible musical achievements are what truly secure an artist’s place in the industry.
