Zari Hassan Reveals Marriott Hotel Paid Her to Host 46th Birthday Bash

Ugandan socialite and entrepreneur Zari Hassan has surprised many by revealing that her glamorous 46th birthday celebration was entirely sponsored. According to Zari, not only did the upscale Marriott Hotel in Kampala foot the bill for the lavish party, but they also paid her an appearance fee to host the event on their premises.

Speaking in a recent interview with a local television station, the self-proclaimed boss lady explained that she did not have to dig into her own pockets to mark her special day. The hotel management covered all logistics, including exquisite decorations, a steady flow of drinks, and meals for the attendees.

“I never spent any coin on my birthday this year. It is Marriott that paid me to host the birthday. They catered for everything, including meals, drinks and whatever was there. I never spent a coin, and I am really grateful to the management,” Zari stated during the interview.

The birthday bash had earlier captured public attention and trended across social media platforms for reasons beyond its luxury. Rumors had circulated that security personnel were instructed to eject certain individuals from the venue due to dress code violations, with speculation swirling that veteran musician Jose Chameleone might have been targeted.

However, Zari quickly shut down those rumors, clarifying that her issue was strictly with uninvited gatecrashers rather than invited guests like Chameleone. Despite the minor drama surrounding guest access, Zari remains immensely appreciative of the partnership with Marriott Hotel, turning what could have been a controversial event into a lucrative brand collaboration.
