Bryan White Vows Legal Action Against Bukedde for Defamation

City personality Bryan White is reportedly considering suing Vision Group’s Bukedde over what he terms as malicious and false reporting. White alleges that the media house has been actively trying to damage his reputation, particularly during his recent legal troubles and health struggles.

Sources indicate that White, who was granted 10 million shillings cash bail by the High Court on September 4th, faced difficulties in raising the required funds, leading to his continued detention. He claims that Bukedde has been disseminating misleading information about his situation.

During a recent phone conversation with Bukedde TV presenter Simo Omunene, White expressed his deep frustration with the coverage. He specifically targeted an employee he believes has repeatedly published “malicious information” about him. “Bukedde, I will sue you. You have disrespected me for a long time,” White stated, adding, “I am in hospital, and you’re still spreading falsehoods.”

White further implicated Don Wanyama, reportedly accusing him of colluding with individuals who are working against him. He implored other media outlets to cease negative reporting and invited journalists to verify his condition by visiting the hospital where he claims to be receiving treatment.

“If you can’t appreciate what I did, then leave me alone. Come and check at Medipal and see for yourself if I’m not at the hospital. I’m very disappointed with you,” he urged. These accusations and threats of legal action stem from White’s discontent with reports surrounding his bail and health status. The allegations made against Bukedde and its management have not been independently verified.
