The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in Uganda has clarified that the suspect in the Ggaba murder case was not suffering from mental illness. Psychiatric evaluation confirmed his thought processes were entirely normal.
Despite this, the suspect acted on a firm belief that human sacrifice could bring him riches. This revelation counters earlier suggestions of insanity driving the crime.
The DPP emphasized that the motive was purely a quest for wealth through ritual practices, not any psychological disorder.
