A total of 195 boys from Aduku Secondary School in Aduku Town Council, Kwania District, face suspension due to indiscipline during Easter.

The students protested after school authorities denied them a disco event on Easter Sunday, opting instead for evening revision sessions. While girls complied, the boys refused and caused disruptions.

Headteacher Zekonia Odama Azzo explained that Saturday featured football and films for entertainment, but Sunday focused on studies. The suspended students must return with parents to discuss potential further actions, including holiday policies.

Local resident Moses Amwata noted many boys lingering in Aduku Town instead of going home, raising community concerns.

Kwania District Education Officer Andrew Omunu visited the school, directing swift resolution through parental involvement, discipline, and counseling before readmission.
