Ugandan artist Tracy Melon has addressed the backlash after abruptly leaving the stage at a show in Mbarara. The incident occurred when a fan reportedly touched her inappropriately, leading to her quick exit.

In her response, Melon expressed regret to supporters who were let down but defended her actions. ‘I apologise to my fans because I let some of them down, but I was reacting to the disrespect I faced,’ she stated, calling it the most humiliating experience in her career.

She felt deeply disrespected and chose to walk off immediately. Her management is now discussing the matter with the local promoter to improve future event handling.

Melon also cautioned fans to show proper respect to performers during live shows.
