Mehta Secondary School made a powerful comeback in Buikwe District, demolishing St Andrew’s Lugazi 7-2 in the USSSA district final at SCOUL Stadium. This victory snapped a two-year hold by Quality High School Buwundo, reestablishing Mehta as the top attacking side.

St Andrew’s had reached the final via a petition over an unregistered player by Quality, despite a 5-0 loss on the field. Mehta’s relentless offense left no room for doubt in the decisive match.

In Mukono District, Mukono Kings remain flawless, not conceding since qualifiers began. They secured quarterfinal spots with wins: 2-0 over Merryhill, 3-0 against hosts Kasana Vocational, and a standout 3-0 shutout of high-scoring Seroma.

Kings now face Central College Kabimbiri in the semifinals, while Seroma meets Dynamic SS. Coach Shafiq Mudholo emphasized organization and national ambitions for his squad.

Seroma’s coach Dan Birikwalira, a former star with St Mary’s Kitende boasting multiple national and FEASSA titles, aims to guide his team to their first trophy and nationals qualification.

Kayunga gears up for Wednesday’s final at Ntenjeru Ssaza Grounds, pitting St Mark (2-0 winners over Hopeful Future) against Namagabi (3-2 penalty win over Ndeeba SS after a draw). Mukono finals follow Wednesday, leading to regionals on May 15 in Kayunga, with three teams advancing to nationals in Lira.
