Kawempe Muslim and She Corporate Maintain Title Charge in FTBFWSL

League leaders Kawempe Muslim secured a narrow 1-0 home victory against Lady Doves, thanks to Latifah Nakasi’s goal in the 51st minute. This result boosted them to 42 points from 17 matches.

She Corporate, chasing the title, overcame an early 2-0 deficit to defeat Rines SS 3-2 away in Wakiso. Sofia Nakiyingi and Patricia Nakato Nanyanzi scored for Rines, but Jesca Namanda’s late first-half brace leveled the score at 2-2. Rebecca Nakato’s 72nd-minute strike clinched the win, keeping Corporate on 41 points.

In other action, She Maroons earned a 1-1 draw at Kampala Queens, with Peace Muduwa and Norah Alupo scoring, lifting Maroons to 19 points in eighth place. Makerere University beat Amus College 1-0 via Noeline Namiiro’s early goal, tying both on 20 points.

Uganda Martyrs High School triumphed 3-1 over Olila High School, with Moreen Kiiza netting twice, moving them to fourth on 25 points. St. Noa Girls crushed Asubo Ladies 4-0, led by Marion Serenge’s hat-trick.

Rines SS slipped to ninth with 18 points, while Lady Doves sit on 17.
