Priscilla Zawedde, better known as Azawi, has sparked debate by claiming superiority over fellow musician Joshua Baraka in performances outside the capital.

In a recent TV interview, the Swangz Avenue star challenged Baraka’s nationwide popularity, labeling him primarily an urban favorite.

‘I can fill a stadium with fans anywhere upcountry, but Joshua Baraka can’t pull that off outside Kampala,’ she declared.

Azawi emphasized her extensive reach, saying she excels in places like Mbale and Jinja, where Baraka falls short.

These comments surface as Baraka earns praise for promoting Ugandan music globally, though Azawi argues true dominance demands broad appeal across the country.
