Miss Tourism Uganda 2026-2027 Pageant Kicks Off with Open Registrations

The Miss Tourism Uganda pageant for 2026–2027 edition officially launched at Kampala Serena Hotel on Monday, opening registrations for contestants across the country.

Regional campaigns will kick off in early 2026, leading to the grand finale on September 4, 2026, also at the same venue.

This year’s theme, ‘AI, Culture and Tourism,’ emphasizes blending technology with Uganda’s heritage to enhance local and global tourism promotion.

Organizers seek young women and men to act as ambassadors, focusing on cultural showcase, conservation, and tourism growth.

Reigning queen Nachap Kezia Cindy urged participants to start at regional levels, saying, ‘Do not fear to register because you can make it.’

The pageant, started in 2013, now includes male contestants since 2025 and represents Uganda’s 12 regional clusters to highlight diverse traditions and tourism spots.
