Ashburg Katto, a former prominent blogger with the Firebase Crew, has turned to opposition leader Bobi Wine for financial support. He openly admitted in a recent interview that he is broke and facing tough times.
Katto played a vital role in boosting Bobi Wine’s presence on social media during the musician’s initial foray into politics. Their alliance soured when Katto defected to President Yoweri Museveni’s National Resistance Movement (NRM).
His time with the NRM was short-lived, leading to a loss of influence, gigs, and stability after falling out of favor.
‘I am broke and not doing well at the moment. I ask for help from you Bobi Wine. I might have disappointed you, but forgive me and forget that. I need help from you,’ Katto shared emotionally with a local YouTuber.
