+ President Museveni adds another 20Million on top of the 30,
The country is still getting to terms with the loss of singer Moze Radio who died on Thursday morning at Case Hospital where he was undergoing treatment for the head injuries he sustained on the night of January 23, 2018 at De Bar in Entebbe.
The Shs 80Million note is not authentic, the President added 20 million to the 30 that was earlier wired to the hospital
Moze Radio was operated on more than once as the three doctors tried to deal with the convulsions he was having every now and then.
Unfortunately, he breathed his last at around 6:00am and by 7:00am, it was confirmed that the singer who appeals to literally everyone through his music was no more.
A lot of money was being required on a daily basis now that he was admitted in ICU and, even if Moze Radio had money, he could not access it anyway now that he was in coma.
This compelled friends and fans to contribute and among them, socialite Bryan White contributed Shs 25Million.
Bebe Cool, Promoter Balaam and Catherine Kusasira approached the President to come to the rescue of the singer, he responded with Shs 30Million that was wired to the hospital.
Unfortunately, the singer did not make it.
"I have been told about the untimely death of musician Moses Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio.
I had only recently made a financial contribution towards his treatment and hoped he would get better. He was a talented young person with a great future ahead of him. May he rest in peace, "The President tweeted.
That chit that is doing rounds on social media that the President gave 80Million is not correct, 20 million was the amount he added onto the 30.
In a related development, authorities in Entebbe have closed the bar where Moze Radio got this problem to a time when the investigations are concluded.
