Rema was all smiles, Hamzah was dishing out cash along the way and the Queen of Buganda was the chief guest. Aamaal led the team lil Gomasi...
The Sili Muyembe singer has finally gone and now she is officially Mrs. Ssebunya now that the Nikah was long done. The event went on well though it will go down in history as the event with several check points before being allowed to take a seat.
It is not a common practice for the Buganda Queen Sylvia Nagginda to grace some of these events, but for Rema, she was the chief guest.
In the few pics that Rema shared, they were all captioned with this line; "This is the day that the lord has made..."
Hamzah was travelling in a Lexus and the moment he got to Nabbingo, he was on the car roof dishing out some cash to the locals who were by the roadside cheering and waving to the motorcade.
Residents of Nabbingo were not very amused that an event like this was taking place in their area code, but they could not actively participate, some had even hoped that they could sell their merchandise along the venue to tap into this once off "market day", but the authorities told them that this was not a market and sent them away.
Wow...Rema's trademark, the dimple making its own statement and inset, Aamaal leading the little girls in their red and black traditional outfits, they all looked stunning beautiful
This could be one of the reasons that forced Ssebunya to give out some cash in a Sipapa style. Charles Olim aka Sipapa who recently met the President is fond of giving out some petty cash to Kiseka Market folks, he must have inspired Dr. Hamzah Ssebunya big time.
Short of that, the event is winding up as Hamzah has just put on Rema the ring.
Here are some more Rema intro pics...
The Queen of Buganda Nnabagereka Syliva Nagginda was the chief guest, they almost wore the same outfits, gold on green...
Rema Namakula's husband was left with no choice, but to bribe the residents who were 1). not invited 2). stopped from selling their items to the very many guests that were in their area code...
