By Michael Nampala 04 Sep 2020 01:37 PM EAT

This report starts in March 2019 and it focuses on the top 10 of each week. It should be noted that each week has the top 100 videos based on YouTube views.

August 2019

Eddy Kenzo with Bikyuuka takes to the top with 55K views in the week. This was when it had now become clear and public information that his baby mama, Rema Namakula was in the hands of another man, Bikyuuka was the song he released for the moment.

Bebe Cool's Nkuliyo is spotted at number 4 for that week.

John Blaq is still in love with the top spot, he bounces back with Mama Bulamu as Ziza Bafana's Ebizibu settles at number 5 for that week.

Harmonize and Sheebah later join in with their Follow Me collaboration song.

September 2019

Bebe Cool's Wire Wire takes the top spot displacing Omusheshe by Spice Diana as Eddy Kenzo's Bikyuuka and John Blaq's Mama Bulamu follow in that order.

Daddy Andre's Sikyikukweka and Orezi X Sheebah's Sweet Sensation are spotted in the top ten  as well.

As the month came to teh end, Cindy's Boom Party joins the top ten as John Blaq's Do Dat that was now in number 10 had been on the charts for 9 weeks.

October 2019

Spice Diana and Rosa Ree's Jangu Ondabe joins the race, but a no match for Bebe Cool's Wire Wire followed by Sweet Sensation.

Vinka joins the top ten with her By the Way.

In the last week of October, Slick Stuart and Roja with their Sunday song had been spotted before John Blaq bouncing back to the top with Ebyalagirwa that saw Bebe Cool's Wire Wire settle for the second spot.

November 2019

In the first week of November, John Blaq's Ebyalagirwa was reduced to number 3 as Chikibombe is spotted on the charts as position two as Bebe Cool's Wire Wire goes back to number 1. The thing to look out for after this was the video that could surpass Kenzo's 203K views in just one week.

Sheebah's Enyanda sits in at number 4.

The second week of November was so competitive, though Eddy Kenzo did not spare it with his Semyekozo promo audio at 59.8K views.

Semyekozo Audio Promo

Semyekozo Audio Promo took that week and matters were made worse when the Semyekozo video was released, it had 203K views in just one week, we are yet to see a video that was able to get to that mark from March 2019 onwards...

December 2019

The first week saw Levixone's Chikibombe slightly on top of Bebe Cool's Wire Wire before Eddy Kenzo broke his own record from 75K views in a week to 203K views for his Semyekozo video. Being the month of December, the late Philly Lutaya's Merry Xmas song was spotted in the top ten. Eddy Kenzo maintained the top position as the bar he had set was just way too high, he just kept on reducing, but still maintaining the top position.

The year 2019 was a very interesting one for Sheebah Karungi and Carol Nantogo via their Silwana song. John Blaq took the year with his back to back hits and it is amamzing how he was releasing them, he could time when the rank for the previous one was going down and he could release another keeping the fans entertained all through the year.

We also notice a few videos that were deleted, something that we suspect could be linked to artist/manager woes, because a video appearing in the top ten out of 100 videos is not one to be deleted by all standards.
