Rajiv Ruparelia with Fresh Kid after the two held sponsorship talks
Young rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo aka Fresh Kid has fallen into things yet again after Ruparelia Group of Companies came out to sponsor his primary education.
The good news was confirmed by Tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia's son, Rajiv Ruparelia.
"Today I met a young man called Fresh Kid - I was moved by his ambition being only 7 years old. I would love to see him become a guide and inspiration to many young people out there, hence, Ruparelia Foundation is presenting this young man with a full scholarship from the Ruparelia Foundation to go to Kampala Parents School."
The development is coming, days after the Minister in charge of Youth Affairs was of the view that the talented singer be taken to a boarding school something that his parents, management and a section of fans thought could affect his talent.
Fresh Kid is behind hits like 'Banteeka' in which he says that they envy him because of his age and his latest 'Bambi' in which he pleads with the Minister to allow him to perform.
Initially, Minister Nakiwala Kiyingi had ordered that the young rapper stops performing to concentrate on his education, something that led to a backlash on social media, she later advised that Fresh Kid performs only on weekends.
He is the most sought after artist at the moment that he found himself performing within the week, leaving the minister with no choice, but to recommend that he be enrolled in a boarding school.
Fresh Kid made it clear that he does not want to go to a boarding school and so were his parents who are benefitting greatly from their son's talent, they equally went up in arms saying that the issue of the boarding school is a no for their son.
Lady luck continues to follow the seven-year-old because Kampala Parents School is one of the top schools in the country.
Talking about how lucky Fresh Kid has been, when he hit the studio to record his Bambi song, he had free offers to help him record the video a project that is not cheap for any average artist out there.
For now, the Sky is the limit for Fresh Kid who by the way will be very busy during this Easter season as many promoters have advertised him as one of the performers followed by John Blaq.
