Hamza and Rema Namakula on their pre-intro day. Kenzo insists he still loves and loved his wife and now, he has turned the guns on Sheikh Muzaata
It has been a month and two weeks while Eddy Kenzo has been going through the worst of times in his love life and throughout this period, he has been speechless and strong at the same time after his baby mama, Rema Namakula, fell for another man.
He issued a 14-point-dossier in which he revealed that he was still in love with Rema.
None of that could stop her plans with Sebunya from going on and the pre-intro went on well with no glitches, but the remarks that Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata made have since left Eddy Kenzo not a settled man, he has now unleashed all his anger on the Sheikh demanding that he withdraws his statement or the Ugandan BET award winner quits performing on any stage in Uganda.
"I greet you all comrades out there, I am Eddy Kenzo the artist. I would like to use this opportunity to apologize to everyone out there who is affected by the issues at hand, and all those disappointed, I ask for your forgiveness, but it is all God's plans."
"Rema has always been my friend and I love her from the bottom of my heart and I will always will, we share a child together. I take this opportunity to congratulate her on her dreams coming true when she found the love of her life, I pray that the Lord blesses their marriage."
Hamza, I congratulate you on getting a beautiful wife and pray that all goes well.
However, the issue of Sheikh Muzaata saying that I go and marry my mother is what is still puzzling me. I am so sensitive when it comes to my mother because I have been mocked right from the time I came to the limelight, I am not well educated, used to sleep on the streets, but looking at what I have done and achieved, most of my efforts are underlooked because of that background.
This is torturing me and now when someone talks about my mom in that way, it affects me. He went ahead to say that the pins I have in my ears insinuate something else that I will not delve into.
My children are old enough, Mya is 8 and Aaamal turns 5 in December plus other children and fans out there that support me and as he was making those remarks, some people cheered him on.
It has affected me and my brand. I really don't see the point that this religious leader is blaming me for, I and Rema did the marital rites locally known as Okuwowa, so we were married, the only difference is that I had not done that big event that Rema so much loved.
Going forward, I am so not myself and ashamed right before my fans. I am now appealing to the Sheikh to reverse his words. I am a straight person with children and if he thinks otherwise, he should come with the proof of his claims.
"I am tortured so much so I will not step on any stage in Uganda not until the Sheikh comes out to put the record straight. I will never ever perform on any Ugandan stage, thank you for the support and having made me what I am today."
"I repeat, I will not perform anywhere in Uganda until the Sheikh withdraws his words."
