In her very first shot with the new look that she shared yesterday on IG, Azawi looked stunning as she let her new smile do the talking. Azawi joined Swangz Avenue in October 2019 and one year later, she has some two hits that sealed her among the top female artists. Her YouTube account has close to 3 million views in just nine months and had it not been for the lockdown, we could be writing something different. In the just concluded Buzz Teenz Awards 2020, Azawi was nominated in the Teenz Flyest Video for her song Repeat It battling it out with Nakyuka by Sheebah, Balance by Karole Kasita, Binji by Fik Fameica and Turn up the Vibe by A Pass and Ykee Benda who won this nod. Azawi has done some changes to her smile, the gap looks much smaller Azawi also lost to Crysto Panda for the Teenz Breakout Artist, Victor Ruz and Zex Bilangilangi were the other artists nominated in that category. The Swangz Avenue signed artist was also nominated as the Teenz Hottest Song Writer, a nod she lost to Daddy Andre. Nessim and Shena Skies were the other nominated artists. The singer and songwriter who has written songs for Lydia Jazmine, Nina Roz and Eddy Kenzo among others will be performing live at the Club Beatz online concert on December 20, 2020, she will be performing alongside fellow Swangz Avenue signed artist Winnie Nwagi.
