The producer behind Chameleone's Baliwa song is spitting fire after the singer went to his studio and allegedly beat up one of his colleagues.
Producer Baur hurt his finger while stopping Chameleone from thumping his colleague, a case of assault has since been filed with police.
Producer Diggy Baur warned Chameleone never to come back to his studio. He produced 'Baliwa' and 'Achai Wiir' songs, he has also threatened not to release his other songs...
He claims Chameleone bit his finger during the scuffle. The dad of six is yet to comment on the development.
Other producers have since denounced the act. Steve M the Vice Chairman of the Audio Producers Association of Uganda (APAU) has said whatever Chaemeleone did was unacceptable.
"It is a very big shame to see what happened to Producer Baur and certainly not good for our industry now that we are the mothers and creators of this music, we contribute much towards the economy and the development of artists like Chameleone and other artists."
"From the little I've gathered, Chameleone felt bad because Baur's brother was talking of another artist being on top of the charts and that artist was not Chameleone, and that is what sparked the scuffle, but according to me, that should cause someone's beating," Steve M concluded.
Producer Baur added that he produced the 'Achai Wiir' song that Chameleone did for a South Sudan businesswoman, she retaliated by gifting him with a Land Cruiser V8 that was recently impounded by URA over taxes. He will appear in court on July 30, 2020 over the same matter.
Producer Baur wonders why he is paid in this way after all that he has done for the singer, he has, however, warned him to desist from the act of beating up producers. He is among the top three artists, but I am also among the top three producers in the country.
Producer Baur is behind songs like: King Saha's Sala Pulesa, Eddy Kenzo's Sitya Loss, Tondekangawo by Hanson Baliruno and Chameleone, Ntinka Nkutinke by Nina Roz, Akomelerwe by Pallaso and Tell Me by Fik Fameica among others.
"Congratulations and enjoy your Graduation day my daughter, Ayla keep shining. See you soon when we break down this Lockdown.
