Spice Diana, 24, will be among those the President will mention on Tuesday after his COVID-19 address. At the end of his speech, he reads out the names of those that have donated items to the COVID-19 task force.

The Omusheshe star donated a truck full of Matooke which she requested that it should be distributed to the DJs, journalists and the health workers among others.

Many have responded to the call and the President has not stopped thanking all those that have donated generously to the cause.

Spice Diana was specifically concerned about the DJs because 1). They play her music, mostly in night clubs which are not operating at this time, 2). DJ Nimrod also a presenter on 100.2 Galaxy FM came out pleading for the DJs to be considered in case of any supplies.

Spice Diana's move follows other female artists [Azawi, Vinka and Winnie Nwagi] signed to Swangz Avenue who donated 750kgs of rice to the DJs.

In the same vein, Lydia Jazmine rushed with 200kgs of rice that was to be distributed between the DJs and MCs.

They join other artists like Bobi Wine, Tuff B, Rabadaba, Lil Pazzo and Bebe Cool among others.

The current lockdown has 8 days before the restrictions can be lifted, but this will depend on a number of factors.

Uganda currently has 75 COVID-19 confirmed cases out of which 46 have recovered. The last 10 cases are all truck drivers, so the President will have to rule on this though he maintains we need the cargo and just as well our cargo.
