Diamond Platnumz's manager, Sallam SK, has recovered from  the COVID-19 virus that has left over 1Million dead.

Nigerian-American vocalist, Davido, was among those that wished him well after recovering from Temeke Isolation centre where he was in isolation.

Diamond Platnumz and other Wasafi crew members were all happy he was out of danger.

He took to Instagram to share the good news;

"After 14 days, I got tested twice and both results came back negative and now I am out of the isolation centre. Thanks to Allah, thanks to doctors, nurses and the government. Allah is Great."

The Tanzanian businessman went on to appeal to all to be very careful because while many like himself have come out alive, some have not made it.

"Please tell your brother, your boyfriend has been taken twice and I have been found NEGATIVE and am currently free. But I ask that we continue to protect ourselves by following the advice of our leaders and leaving unqualified wills. ALLAH IS GREAT."

The virus has 1,203,485 people that are confirmed to be infected as of this morning  while 247,001 have recovered. 64,784 have died as a result. Uganda has 48 confirmed cases, no one has recovered and no one has died.

Tanzania has 20 confirmed cases, 2 recoveries and one death. Rwanda 102, no recoveries, no deaths, Kenya 126 with 4 deaths and 4 recoveries.
