Case numbers and death tolls continue to rise as the novel coronavirus COVID-19 continues to sweep the globe.
Latest statistics from the WHO indicate a total of 136,895 cases with 5,077 deaths reported from at least 123 countries.
China is the hardest hit, with close to 81,000 cases followed by Italy and Iran with 15,000 and 11,000 cases respectively.
Diamond Platnumz had kicked off with his Europe Tour and was slated to perform in Finland today, but given the rate at which travel restrictions are biting and schools closing, this forced him to issue this statement;
"Due to the CORONAVIRUS, We have postponed my Europe Tour... New Dates will be announced soon...#SafetyFirst."
The frustrated Diamond has just resorted to sharing Jeje moments with his vixen Malaiak Salatis on his wall for the fans who were looking forward to the vixen's dance moves.
Meanwhile, There is only one US state left without coronavirus.
The United States now has 2,204 cases of the coronavirus and 49 deaths, according to state and local health agencies and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Diamond Platnumz is not the only one affected in the entertainment industry, quite many are.
Netflix joins other shows and members of the entertainment industry suspending operations over the coronavirus. Ellen DeGeneres' daytime talk show is suspended until March 30, while two Comedy Central series, “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” and “Lights Out with David Spade,” are also suspending production.
Germany has 1,565 cases and at least 2 dead while France has 1,784 confirmed cases and 33 deaths and these are some of the countries Diamond Platnumz was supposed to perform in the coming days.
The other thing is that coming from some of these countries, one could be quarantined for at least 2 weeks making it difficult for any planned activity.

Passengers coming from Germany, Spain, France, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, and the Netherlands will not be allowed into Turkey, said Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, according to Turkey's state run news agency Anadolu.
