Chameleone has thanked all those that follow him on YouTube the reason he was recognized for passing 100,000 subscribers...
Chameleone shows off his YouTube creator award also known as a YouTube Play Button
"It’s such a great honor from the YouTube Channel to be recognized for my hard work. I celebrate this achievement together with all my YouTube subscribers following me."
"Thank you. We achieved this together."
The Baliwa singer could not hide his excitement on achieving that milestone and for now, though, the sky is the limit. Eddy Kenzo and Anne Kansiime will soon hit the 1million mark as they are both over 800k subscribers.
Diamond Platnumz has 3million subscribers. His music is mostly in Swahili, which takes care of at least two countries, Kenya and Tanzania.
Chameleone is one of those Ugandan artists who are so good at Swahili though during the times when his Swahili songs like Mama Mia were top hits, YouTube was not the in thing like it is now.
"YouTube Creator Awards, commonly known as YouTube Play Buttons, are a gift from YouTube that serves to recognize its most popular channels. These awards are based on a channel's subscriber count, but are offered at the sole discretion of YouTube."
A quick glance at other YouTube accounts suggest many Ugandan artists still have a long way to hit the first level of recognition which is 100K.
Spice Diana, Lydia Jazmine are yet to get to Chameleone's level while Eddy Kenzo and Anne Kansiime will soon hit the 1million subscriber base, which is the next level of recognition.
The dad of six is pretty much aware of these developments that yesterday, he had to change his management. Bijou Fortunate is his latest manager.
Bijou is the first Jose Chameleone's female manager and everyone is looking forward to see how she can turn the tables around.
On the other hand, Bijou is very confident she will be able to manage Chameleone ranging from discipline and other aspects to do with his brand.
