Daphine Frankstock was ushered in with Lydia Jazmine's Jimpe love song
Comedian Salvador real name Patrick Idringi was over the weekend introduced by longtime lover and mother of his two children, Daphine Frankstock.
The ceremony took place in Mityana and it was attended by several comedians, radio and TV personalities.
Lydia Jazmine did her 'Jimpe' love song to usher in the bride and trust Salvador, the comedy in him was part of the package. Most grooms tend to be reserved at such times, but this was not the case for the man from Ombokolo.
Clad in his purple jacket and a white tunic, Salvador received a chain that was delivered by a drone and down on his knees he went to put it on his wife.
Then came that moment when Daphine was putting a flower on Salvador, he rolled his eyes as though he was on stage doing a comedy stint.
You need to support your hubby in every way and Daphine has done this very well because looking at how she was behaving, she could equally leave ribs cracking from a comedy show.
At some point, Salvador told all those that he had come with to get on their feet and dance to Kofi Olomide's (Selfie) Ekotite song, it was fun.
Notable among those that attended include: Balaam Barugahara of Balaam Events who was in his orange trademark tee, radio personality Roger Mugisha, actor Matthew Nabwiso, NTV news anchor Andrew Kyamagero, Dembe FM's Kasuku, and comedians Dolibondo, Madrat and Chikko among others.
Salvador had to assure Daphine's parents that he will be walking down the aisle with the mother of his two children later in the year.
Kasuku on the left and Lydia Jazmine on the right all smart in their traditional outfits.
The wait has been long, but eventually, Daphine is getting there. The two met while she was still in high school and at the time, the Man from Ombokolo was working for MTN and doing comedy as a side gig, he later resigned his job to concentrate on his comedy that has taken him places.
Daphine has always referred to Salvador as her husband and quoting her in a 2017 interview, she said that they were very happy in their relationship that even the married could envy them.
"Salvador and I are not legally married, but trust me we are happier than most married couples, anyway, very soon we shall legalize it, we are not in a rush."
