Outgoing Miss Uganda Quiin Abenakyo in a red dress crowning Oliver Nakakande, the new Miss Uganda 2019-2020
Oliver Nakakande, 24, from Bombo, a student pursuing Business Administration is the new Miss Uganda 2019-2020 replacing Quiin Abenakyo who represented Uganda in the Miss World beauty pageant.
Quiin Abenakyo made it to the top three only to become Miss World Africa.
The beauty pageant was on Friday held at Sheraton Hotel Kampala with Zari Hassan as one of the judges. The Winner, Oliver Nakakande, walked away with a top prize car of a Toyota Wish, red in color.
Liz Bagaya finished in the second position followed by Mariam Nyamatte.
Could number 22 be the winning number? Maybe a yes, maybe not, but that was Abenakyo's number in the previous contest.
Oliver Nakakande will now represent Uganda in the 69th edition of the Miss World that will be held at ExCel London in the United Kingdom this December.
Grenade was one of the entertainers doing his Nkuloga hit that got Zari dancing from her seat.

Miss World 2019, Vanessa Ponce De Leone was in attendance and together with Quiin Abenakyo, they crowned the new beauty queen.
Vanessa Ponce did not travel alone, she came along with Julia Morley the Chairman and CEO of Miss World Organization, which runs the annual Miss World pageant, they also met Uganda's President at his country home in Rwakitura as part of their Beauty with a Purpose tour.
