Bebe Cool was on Friday a guest on Spark TV with show host Miles Rwamiti in what they termed as “The State of the Nation Music Address” He talked about the artistes on who is likely to dominate the charts and who is not, promoters, record labels, his views on artistes joining politics and of course, his wife’s cake garage.

Bebe Cool talks about the Artists and their music

Bobi Wine’s music is not all that good, all he has now is political favor. It is okay for fans to support you even when you don’t have a trending song and on this, I’m not lying because during fasting we do not lie.

Eddy Kenzo is not as good as he was during the Sitya Loss times, he is constant or going down. I don’t see any of his songs that can measure up to Sitya Loss.

The songs that are on the form will be played, the fans will be requesting for them and Bango by Rickman Manrick is one of them.

How about King Saha? He was good towards the end of last year, but currently, no. Spice Diana, Daddy Andre and doing so well. Daddy Andre is a producer but the fact that he is playing everywhere on radio, tv, he should not be underestimated.

Sheebah Karungi – She has crossed the line after proving the point of six years nonstop, once you do that, it means you are capable of releasing a song anytime you want. Sheebah came and run over all the female artists. Together with her manager, Jeff Kiwa, they can do wonders any time and when she is not releasing any music, she is doing it deliberately, but the moment she does, it will be an instant hit.

Rema Namakula – I have no data about her because she does not release so many songs and also her direction of songs is totally different, she has been quiet of late. I’ve listened to her latest Gutujja song with the B2C.

There are three sessions of artistes, starting with us the pioneers who have been on the charts, but then, there is another category that includes the likes of King Saha, Gravity Omutujju, Eddy Kenzo and then, followed by the Fic Fameika’s,  and John Blaq.

"Now for the last session that I have mentioned to get to us, they must first tackle the second session," Bebe Cool added.

These artistes right below us have to be careful because the other category is dominating now. It is easy for Saha to disappear if Fic Fameika, Fefe Bussi and John Blaq keep insisting.
