Diamond Platnumz who is currently on tour in the US paid a courtesy visit to YouTube HQ's only to come across some shocking revelations.
It turned out that his biggest YouTube audience was from Kenya and not his country, Tanzania.
Interestingly, the gap between Kenya and the next country which happens to be his had a close to 100% margin gap.
According to the location of your audience chart on YouTube, Kenya had 204%, Tanzania 114% and the United States followed in that order with 72%.
With two of his top hits songs off the Tandale album being banned in Tanzania, the Bongo Flava star chose to launch his 'A Boy from Tandale' album from Kenya.
Platnumz and the YoutTube team went on to have further discussions on how they can mutually benefit each other, TZ crooner who could not hide his excitement had this caption to the pics he shared on IG;
"Successful meeting with YouTube at their HQ Yesterday, you all can't wait for this, I can't wait as well."
The Team at Wasafi Classic Baby is now working very hard to establish why the views in neighboring Kenya with a population of about 48Million surpasses that of Tanzania where the artist hails from and yet, it has a higher population of 55Million. Swahili is the main language spoken in both countries.
Meanwhile, Platnumz was on Friday performing for his fans in California, yesterday, he was in Los Angeles and on the 29th Jun, he will be in Kansas City and Columbus Ohio on Jun30th.
