Ykee shocked the fans and other artists after all his shows sold out
Wycliffe Tugume aka Ykee Benda is the happiest Ugandan artist at the moment after his maiden concert dubbed Singa Concert being well attended.
Ykee Benda had quite a number of costumes that he displayed during his shows including changing his hairstyle to feature dreads. He also paid respect to his fallen mentor Moze Radio.
On Saturday, Ykee was performing in Mukono and on Sunday, he was back to Freedom City. All venues were filled to capacity.
Several artists performed. Nina Roz, Spice Diana, Rema, Feffe Bussi, Topic Kasente, John Blaq and King Michael among others. Madoxx Semanda Sematimba also performed. Bebe Cool also attended and Ykee could not hide his excitement. "I am speechless, forever indebted and grateful," Ykee told Bebe Cool.
He went on to thank everyone who has been there for him.
"Uganda...This Dream has honestly come way sooner than I saw it come. I knew one day I would but not this soon. You have built me and my confidence every single day I have been in this industry and I can’t thank you enough."
He also thanked the media personalities, DJ's and Sponsors that include Coca Cola and Bell Lager."The DJ's that played my music from day one some had not even met me thank you for helping me get to this milestone in my career.
Then YKEE EMPIRE family, you guys know we are together for life, thank you."
And of course my fans you have shown every doubter that you know good music and you know how to support your own, thank you.
"And to my father in Heaven, thank you for the gift and the brilliant brains to create for my people. I will bless your name," He concluded.
