Over 130 bicycles, drought resistant maize seeds, hoes, rice, soap, blankets and liquid soap among others were given to the Arua people. Several bulls were slaughtered as he concluded his visit. However, as he was addressing the youth in Arua, Bryan White urged them not to listen to people who were coming to tell them lies. "That man who has been smoking 'ganja' wants to become a President, don't allow to be used like a co_dom," Bryan White said while referring to Bobi Wine. "I'm not here for politics, but if pushed, I will change the game because I have the brains and the money," Bryan White added attracting wild cheers from the youth. Bobi Wine who was appearing for an interview at a local radio station was asked about the Kyarenga video and so many other issues including his views on Bryan White's remarks; The 'Kyarenga' singer told the radio host that it is only fair that the interview focuses on issues that are vital to the common man, he declined to comment on Bryan White claiming that was a non issue. Meanwhile, Bobi Wine arrived in Arua on Sunday afternoon to campaign for Kassiano Wadri, one of the candidates in the run to replace the former Arua MP Ibrahim Abiriga, who was assassinated. The elections will be held on August 15. |
