Vera Sidika strikes a pose with her pals on Wednesday in Nairobi, but she is the darkest of them all
Kenya's Vera Sidika has released her latest video dubbed 'Mimi' just days after she started on the process of reversing her skin bleaching.
The Mimi video was shot when she still had her light skin complexion, it is about the color of one's skin.
Part of the lyrics for the Mimi song;
"My skin don't tell me who I am
In Vera's song, she seems to say that color does not define us, you've got to struggle irrespective of color.
Vera Sidika's 'Mimi' video was released yesterday, it has close to 10,000 views on YouTube.
"Logic can get you from point A to B, Imagination can get you everywhere. Mimi is my new single depicting the essence of audacity in life," Vera noted on YouTube.
The Mimi song which is a follow up to her Nalia song that she released last year after breaking up with her boyfriend, Otile Brown, is coming at the time when the Kenyan socialite was still the talk of the town after reversing her skin bleaching.
Many have since flocked to her beauty parlor just to look at the socialite to confirm whether or not she has transformed, and most importantly the gigantic tattoos that seem to have disappeared after the bleaching reversal.
The 'You Guy' video vixen's fashion sense has not allowed the fans an ample view of the tattoo locations, but chances are, they disappeared and it is the more reason she will not show off those areas yet.
Meanwhile, many of her fans will be glued on their tellies tonight starting at 10:00 pm (EAT) as the socialite will be appearing on two TV stations to talk about her recent skin tan and of course the just released Mimi music video.
Vera Sidika will be a guest on NTV(Kenya)-The Trend program with Amina Abdi Rabar and later she will cross to Citizen TV for the 10/10 program, her fans can't wait for that up close shot to see for themselves and why she had to backtrack.
