November 17, 2019 10:32 AM @ugandaonline

Businessman and events promoter, Balaam Barugahara, fears for his life after his investments that include a building, radio station and mineral water company could all be lost. This follows the landlady who defied the terms of a 25 year lease agreement.

Balaam Barugahara held a presser yesterday at his Radio4 offices in Ntinda to reveal what he termed as a clear strategy to reap him off of his billions that he had invested in the neighboring country.

The promoter had leased some land on which he put investments after getting into a 25 year lease contract from the year 2014, but a few years down the line, his landlady, Fatma Ramadan has backtracked on those terms, saying that she needs 50% shares in his business, otherwise, she wants him off the land.

The promoter who has made a name for himself for stocking Orange T-shirts with the same design patterns has called on President Museveni to intervene in the matter and prevail over President Salva Kiir to do something after the court orders on the very matter were not followed.

Balaam went on to say that his brother, Andrew, who has been managing his Sudan based investments was whisked off to some place by unknown people and him (Balaam) cannot go to the country as he fears for his life.

Some of the investments he stands to lose are a building with at least three floors which doubles as his headquarters for his Radio One 87.9FM station, the building has tenants too.

Balaam also has a bottled water company and with all these investments, he is not allowed to repartriate profits.
