28 AUG 2017 8:48 PM
In a world where celebrities are breaking their marriage vows like there's no tomorrow, it'sa good thing to celebrate those who have stood the taste of time. Bobi Wine and Barbie were yesterday celebrating their marriage bliss. The power couple chose to celebrate their 6th wedding anniversary from Rubaga Cathedral, where they exchanged their vows.
"And I was given the honor to take the second reading just like I did 6yrs ago. This was my second time to do so only that today's (Aug 27) was in Luganda," Barbie noted.
When Bobi Wine took to the podium, he told of how he cheated on his wife, but begged for forgiveness. Barbie has been there for the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament through thick and thin. She was even prepared to take care of Bobi Wine's son from a UK based mother, but that matter was sorted when paternity tests revealed otherwise.
He then took to his wall.
"Today marked 6years since I and Barbie Kyagulanyi were joined together in holy matrimony right here at Rubaga Cathedral. Since that day, my life has never been the same. Thank you Barbie for being such a positive influence in my life."
"My life has never been and will never be the same again. With you, I have everything I desire. Happy 6th anniversary, love," Barbie returned the love.
He then went on to congratulate all those who were wedding on the same day like them and shortly after, he was on the road for performances in Busia.
In the other Bobi Wine news, the singer received a Pan African Global award as a Musical Activist.
